It’s update day! Yes, later today (as in 10am ET, so about 3.5 hrs from now) we should see Moe’s Ark hit our games…it’s not live yet.
Remember, this is an APP STORE update, and the update hit app stores yesterday. So if you haven’t updated yet you’ll need to check your App Stores for the update. (if you don’t see it try hard closing your app store and restarting your device. Also try searching tapped out. Sometimes it doesn’t appear in the update list)
There’s no significant prep to worry about for this event (ie you don’t have to buy all the land somewhere), just remember to get things started you’ll need THREE Simpsons Family Members available. So keep those Simpsons free this morning!
We’ll be back at 10am ET with the Act 1 details, until then treat this post as an Open Thread to ask “is it here yet? is it here yet?”…. 😉

10:15 am – Server down?
10:30 – Finally got on (yay! 😄)…… received 60 donuts as “thank you for playing” (double yay! 😄😄) …… dialogue started (😄😄😄)…. and then server crashed 😳. And finally back on starting event (🤷♀️).
Are we still only able to get land with “Free land” tokens? There’s so much land offered and all we get per event is like 6 tokens. Are there any other options? I have 20 million simpsons dollars and nothing to spend it on. 😢

Look WAY up along your mountains – we got more land ! Looks like 9 tiles, same as when KL was nuked.
I went from a bonus of 408% or something like that to 560% after updating…. 😁😁😁
Really?? I certainly hope that’s not a bug, that they’re going to roll back! 😉
But jesting aside: Does anyone know what older decorations might have gained bonuses? I may want to dig through my inventory…
I’ve only been playing a couple of months. My bonus went from 15.50% to 136.50%. Sweet, while it lasts…
It’s from the Springfield Heights upgradable buildings (Deluxe Condos, Classic and Modern Mansions, Valet Parking lots, Business Centres and Level 2 Private Islands) since after the update the hidden xp from them is no longer hidden on the COM Meter and also contributes to the increase in cash like other buildings and decorations that give bonus percentages.
It would of been nice if EA added bonus percentages to the Ocean Suites and Exclusive Resorts since they are also limited on how many you can get.
Same here… mine was around 608% and now it’s 799.90. It would be good to know what changed!
Hooray! AND, the pre-game update seems to have included a bug fix that cured the massive screen-navigation slowdown that has plagued my game for the last 2 mo. (or maybe EA just upgraded their servers). Did I say, “Hooray!”?

Is that the Springfield Heights Bonus I see now included in my total % bonus. Have gone to 819 from approx 666.
Seems about right IIRC SH hidden bonus was about 151

Mine auto-updated, so I got the new splash screen with the zoo graphic shown in the post above. The update happened for me yesterday evening.
