Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Just a reminder that the Moe’s Ark Event Ends TOMORROW September 12th.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.
As far as what is going to happen AFTER the Event… well, we can’t know… until it is over. Until then all we can do is speculate. So, patience. We all have to verify what happens after together.
Now as far as to what is going with the Event, here is a brief rundown…
- Questlines linked directly to the progression of the Event will go. Like the Main Questlines that pulled you through all 3 Acts.
- However, the questlines linked directly to the prizes and Premium Characters you’ve won will remain. (so Teenage Homer, Yo Yo etc)
- The event removal will require an app store update to fully remove it from your game. So don’t panic when the timer runs down and the event isn’t out of your game… It will require an app store update to remove everything.
I know some of you still try to push that last few minutes of the collection as far as you can. However, with the last few events EA has really shut off the ability to play on “borrowed time”. In other words, once the timer runs out the ability to collect prizes ends. So don’t count on getting any extra time with this one. Try to finish everything up before the timer runs out tomorrow morning.
And don’t forget to upgrade! Use em or lose em! And don’t forget to buy the cash items in the store! Once they’re gone they’re gone.
So tap those last few visitors and relax and wait to see what EA has next in store for us.
Oh and don’t be surprised if we see a mini-event hit tomorrow with the removal. As we’ve been saying for a long time…mini-events are downtime. There’s never going to be a period where nothing is going on in the game, they’ll constantly update to keep players engaged. They may be small updates, designed to finish quickly and then enjoy some downtime before a timer runs out, but you’ll never see a massive amount of time without new content in this game. You may get a day or two, but not weeks.

I enjoyed the event, like some mentioned more could have been done for the aquatic, but overall a really fun event.

Enjoyed this event as liked collecting the animals in parts 1&2. My animals won’t stay behind zoo walls, they will be moved to my crazy cat lady animal sanctuary area. Freedom, horrible freedom!!
So, at the end of the Itchy and Scratchy land event, we had the mini-event that brought us Poochie’s Dog Dayz which was basically a fourth act that brought us a couple more items. Does anyone think that the next mini-event could be Moe’s Ark Act 4? Maybe we get Teenage Marge to go with Teenage Homer.
What are your thoughts?
I’d like to see that happen. They could also add Marge’s dad and an Arnie Ziff and teen Barney skin if it follows the episode.

That’s a really good idea, I was thinking about teenage Marge too. There’s always a ton of good new and returning premium stuff in the mini event before Halloween. I think of it as the Donut Dropper.
Loved all the nature content in this event but was really just done these last couple weeks. *sigh. Time to angry tap the habitats to get those sanctuary grants.
This event, while not perfect, was better than the previous event in terms of prizes & premium stuff IMO.
Pros

– No Crafting
– The Zoo Gift Boxes (Sherri/Terri, Manjula, etc)
– Other characters (Sea Captain, Nelson, Smithers, Chief Wiggum, etc) getting involved in events
– No major lagging (unlike the I&Sland event)
– The concept of building your own zoo
Cons

– Sarah Wiggum is overpriced at 300 donuts! (reluctantly got her anyway since I KEM-farm part-time)
– 3rd Act got bored real quickly (fantasy/horror themed animals)
some of the prizes had little to do with animals/zoos (i.e. Teenage Homer as the final prize)
– The Zoo Gift/Time Capsule characters didn’t help with the event currency
same old 4 hr grind with the largely the same cast (Ned, Krusty, Cleatus, Skinner, etc)
– Weak story (the 3rd act, Moe not playing a larger role considering the event is named after him, etc)
– The debate of inactive players getting an offer of 2400 donuts for $10 vs active players not getting the same offer
– Some of the players not getting a donut offer despite paying for them (was this glitch ever fixed?)
I’d like to add one more Con that I feel people want but forget to suggest: the ability to speed up the last few minutes of event characters’ tasks. Usually we don’t get this but EA has provided it a couple of times and I miss it.
Kinda slacking on the prizes this Act just got Teenage Homer
Most of my neighbors are at or close to getting teenager Homer. But those that are far away, I’m dropping all my frogs there.
Desperately trying to get them as close as possible.
I would love to see EA fix my game. Ever since the roll back update I’ve had several thing stop working in game. When I ask EA to fix it there things they tell me they can only fix it if they roll my game back to a specific date and that I will lose everything I have gain to date. There has to be another way they can fix these issues. I can’t be the only one with this problem. Is there anything you can do to help?

Honestly, this event should have ended after the second act. Since I picked up Teenage Homer I’ve downsized my zoo to fit a open spot that I had available. I actually moved my water themed items (Slimu, aquarium, crustacean, and Duff Shark) to a separate Marine World next to my dam. Kinda interested in seeing what type of mini-event the developers will come up with that will distract us tappers who are looking forward to the Halloween event. Even for reluctant KEM farmers like myself, this is probably going to be a good time to farm like crazy since we have Halloween, followed by Black Friday, then the Christmas event. Busy donut times. Hopefully it will be good stuff.
After FINALLY getting back into my game after spending time with 7 different EA people over a 2 week period and being demoted to level 60 from level 413, I need some time off. I have SO many quests to re-do (not to mention all the people and things I lost) and getting into this event 2/3rds of the way done just made me sad.
EA’s customer service is not very customer-centric unfortunately.
I had a similar issue right after the forced update after the Springfield Jobs event. EA took more than 40 days to finally get around to fixing it. The people barely acknowledged they screwed up, and I got 50 donuts for putting up with them. Then I realized that I had started the second act of Itchy and Scratchy land with only a week left. I was not happy with them. I consider myself a mostly freemium player who will splurge a little to collect all the playable characters and now I am behind on that. The only way you or I will get the lost items are by donut farming and if EA decides to offer them again in another event or during Black Friday Sales.
Good Luck to you. I hope you don’t give up on the game because of EA’s poor interest in doing the right thing.

I enjoyed the event like all the ones I’ve done but now I can’t wait for it to end and I have already slowly building my zoo and buying walls where needed.
Event was pretty laid back in my opinion, which I liked. Didn’t have to keep track of too many things like in the past. Liked 90% of the event, but looking to get rid of it in hopes it helps my game from closing every 30-60 seconds. Game is really unplayable as it takes me about 45 minutes to tap out characters and try to do the scratch ticket at Kwik E Mart, Where’s Maggie, tap balloons at Sideshow You, and collect currency from buildings. Even just scrolling through my town will close the game. Took 15 minutes to get a prize out of the mystery box and place it. This happened all of a sudden. Kinda wish I got all the weird updates others got a few days ago. Maybe I wouldn’t have such a hard time playing the game.
question…is there any benefit to upgrading additional habitats after you have fully upgraded the first of each?

I liked the event, but could have done with more animals. The marine bit especially. We had the entrance signs, but not a lot to lead to!
Stacking sheep? I have been trying to figure out how to stack the sheep with no luck. I have been searching for a post about it but have not found one. If there is one can I get the link for it? if there isn’t can someone help me know how to do it?

I also at first bought a lot thinking that you had to buy multiples and put them on top of each other making a tower of sheep babel.
After placing in your town, just tap on it…then you can choose how high by continuing to tap on it 😁 I love em and tap on them just to watch them stack and unstack lol
Just tap the sheep. I think there’s 2-3 different display options …just keep tapping until you get what you want

I didn’t think much of the crafting section this time, there’s nothing I can be bothered to spend the extra currency on. And the fact that you’d have to upgrade a habitat until you get to the one piece you might want, really killed any enthusiasm I might have been able to muster.
It really should’ve been like the prizes that were added to the store. Once you’ve fully upgraded you can buy as much of anything on the upgrade track for that habitat as you want/can afford.

Can’t wait for this thing to be over. While I liked the first three animal sceneries, the last (fantasy-themed one) will go straight to storage. I will not even send the characters back to volunteering- Back to accruing more
money and donuts for the Halloween event 😉
Not in the least… as Boss Nass once said in the Phantom Menace “…be gone with him!” This event has been so very easy, just sooooo incredibly boring and lackluster. Really of little to no fun at all for me… so, won’t miss it at all.
I do miss the times when we would have 1-2 weeks of downtime… sadly they are gone for good. Probably back then the programmers NEEDED that time, because they actually programmed and designed each major event separately…and could use the break? LOL

To me, the only thing worth the effort was Teenage Homer, and, although not directly related to the event itself, the addition of Sarah Wiggum. The rest I don’t really care about at all.
The stuff from the last few events takes up more and more space. I might eventually put it all into storage, unlike previous event items which I always kept somewhere around.
