So with all this downtime, I’m finally getting the chance to cover some things I didn’t have a chance to do originally (or I simply forgot about). This time around I’m circling back to the Moe’s Ark update and covering Larry Kidkill’s tasks.
Larry originally arrived as a free character, via the questline, during the Moe’s Ark event (last summer). And because he was awarded via the questline and not the prize track, I never went back around to cover his task list and other details about him.
So here’s a look at the details behind Larry, Springfield Zoo’s villainous owner…
As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we find ourselves sometimes forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU. So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small. Brag about it to the world. We want you to. Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
It’s that time…calling all Springfield designs of Zoo Proportions! We’re getting ready to do the next Springfield Showoff featuring your Springfield Zoo inspired designs! So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!
Moe’s Ark has officially been over for a week now, and I want to see what you’ve done with all that stuff! Because who doesn’t like seeing what others have done with all this new stuff?! So send us your Zoo inspired designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs on MONDAY, September 24th….so you’ve got a bunch of time to prep your towns. Take your time, design as you see fit and send us the designs when you’re ready.
So work on those designs and send us some screenshots when you’re ready…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Sunday, September 23rd, 2018. Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.
You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us. If you email them please mark the subject with at least the word Showoff, otherwise, I might miss it.
Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots. We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images. Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too). We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two. If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week. You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page. We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme. Remember, this isn’t a contest. There’s nothing to win. It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts. 🙂

Officially back from my maternity leave from the site…a few hours early, but that’s ok. Hopefully y’all didn’t give Patric too hard of a time. I know he did a great job filling in for me, and I know it wasn’t easy. Especially since I’m crazy OCD about how things are done around here lol.
Anyway…popping in a few hours early to let you know the Moe’s Ark Removal update has hit the stores. Here’s a look at the update description…
Personally, I’m hoping that census comment means that Townhall will finally be easy to search feature…
Downloading this will prep your game for a mini update that’s slated to hit tomorrow. You can download it now (it won’t impact the Moe’s Ark prize track or update content) or you can wait until tomorrow to download it. However, you will need to download it to start the next update…
And remember, when the timer runs down on Moe’s Ark the event will be over. You won’t be able to earn the prizes you missed out on for free. So use all the time you have left if you’re still behind on the prize track.
Anywho, I’ll be back tomorrow once the mini event hits (as far as content, let’s just say it’ll be something Super …and in my opinion something super bad and overplayed…) so for now enjoy your night and the calm before the storm….
I’m not going to begin to try to explain the intricacies of Rosh Hashanah and the Jewish culture. But, there are some great myths that have driven the religion, as well as being some of the key aspects of the Old Testament in Christianity. I grew up hearing the stories about the “Tower of Babel,” and other Old Testament yarns, but never connected the dots on Jewish holidays until I was much older.
But, being a New Year’s Baby (01-01-54), I never fully embraced Rosh Hashanah, as it conflicted with my claim to New Years. And apparently, EA doesn’t fully embrace it either, as Rosh Hashanah actually starts on Sunday the 9th, and goes through the 11th. It is the Jewish celebration of the Jewish New Year!
And how is EA celebrating this event? By bringing back a bunch of Jewish items from the past, and giving us a couple of new Premium Decorations. Cool! (nobody said that the price of Heaven was free!)

Another day, another event in Springfield. As the Springfield Zoo event is in full effect in Springfield. And it wouldn’t be an event without a Mystery Box, now would it? Of course EA’s go a box for this occasion! They have a box for everything! This time around we’re time traveling back a year, to the Time Travel Toaster Event & a MB full of items from that wonderful event…
This is a premium box full of your chance to get those Time Travel premium character/building/decorations you may have missed out on last year. By now we should all be familiar with how Mystery Boxes work, so let’s jump to the breakdown of what’s inside…
Well, it’s that time in Springfield…time for the final Act! The final Act of Moe’s Ark that is. It’s 10am here on the east coast and that means it’s time for Moe’s Ark Act 3…so have at it, assuming you can get into the game of course!
Yes, odds are the servers will likely be down. We should all be used to it by now…it sucks but complaining won’t help.
Remember…this is an automatic change in your game. Nothing to download, it should just start up in your game..
Questline should start right up for you and you’ll have to do a 4hr task with Larry Kidkill.

Just a reminder that Act 2 of the Moe’s Ark Event…Ends TOMORROW August 29th at 10am ET (1400 GMT)
Once the Act 2 is over you will no longer be able to earn Act 2 Prizes for free. So get everything you can before it’s all gone! (but remember to keep earning tracks if you haven’t unlocked all of the prizes because the closer you get to unlocking the next prize the lower the donut cost would be should you need to purchase it when the next Act starts…)
