Simpsons Babies follows the same event structure of the Multi-Events before it. This event consists of 4 parts (or Acts), with each part lasting a week and taking us through a new part of the event!
For Week 2, Act 2, we’re following what happens when the Youthenizer goes off and Artie Ziff pops into the picture. All of the prizes unlocked during week 2 play a role in that storyline.
So let’s take a look at the first four prizes this week, Springfield Gymdandee, Ling Bouvier/donuts, Fotohut, and Le Petite Appetit …
First up, prize 1, Springfield Gymdandee…

The Springfield Gymdandee is going with the Childrarium in my from Valentine’s Day. I really like that Baby Marge can also animate it since there are already a couple of buildings that give kids a 4 hour task and I do sort of wish there was a blue carpet with the building but it still looks cool.
I got Ling when she was first released and like that she was involved with the questline for the event so I had the donuts instead. It is nice that she has a task with Baby Marge since she doesn’t really interact with Patty, or Selma.
Fotohut is a nice little building that I’ll probably put in the heights. It’s great that Wiseguy and Squeaky Voice Teen have tasks here since they don’t usually get tasks from events (only the low level freemium but sometimes premium ones do). A hunting skin for it would’ve also been interesting.
Le Petite Appetit is a cute corner building that I would’ve put in my France area if I didn’t store it so It’ll go either in the heights or a fancy restaurant area in my town. It was the only building from this event that I remember from an episode apart from Frink’s House. I’m ok with the task for kids there since Wiseguy, Anger Watkins and other characters that have restaurant tasks can also go here.

well I plopped those three Buildings down for now until I can figure out where they belong (they would look cool in Springfield Heights, if L-EA-Z-Y would just open up that vacant space).
It’s nice when we get a permanent Character Task with a Building, even better when we get a new Character with Tasks related to said Building (I’m just going to smile and be grateful we didn’t get stuck with an NPC, or baseless Decor).
I will thank EA (thank you EA) for Ling Bouvier, as TSTO continues to be my virtual zen garden …. I don’t get to tap often, I have zero expectations from EA, so when I do get to login to TSTO? I make the most of it (even noticing Toddler Marge is kinda voiced)😀
My only complaint about these mini-events is that the buildings aren’t related to each other in any meaningful way. With other events you can build a little section of your Springfield that sticks to a theme, with this one it’s just a random bunch of buildings that will just get slapped into a neighborhood and forgotten.
Crafting could get a little tedious but having smaller elements to tie things together was nice.
Yea that is tough. I just spent a chunk of time last night trying to determine where to put everything from the last 4 events in Springfield. Very few are next to each other..
