Super excited to announce something long time Addicts readers have been asking for, and something I’ve been working on for a while…The Addicts Shop!
It took a while to find the right shop to work with, and some of you may argue it took me too long, but we’ve finally launched an Addicts line of T-Shirts and Hoodies…including the Addicts Logo with our cartoons on it! (which is the one y’all have been asking for the most)
You can shop our store, TSTOAddicts.com/shop, for a ton of fun shirts and hoodies…and I plan to constantly add more designs to the store. Things that fit in with current events in the game, funny sayings from the community, and more…so be sure to check it out often! Here are the current designs we’re offering…
Over the past 600+ episodes, The Simpsons has taken us on an amazing mathematical journey involving fractions, probability, Fermat’s last theorem, and hundreds of other aspects from the wonderful world off mathematics.
And what better way to start your week, then by discussing math Monday morning?
With season 30 officially in our rearview mirror after last nights season premiere (shout out to the use of the Pythagorean theorem in last nights episode), we continue our journey today on September 30th, by looking at some properties of the number 30 – Square Pyramidal and Harshad numbers.
It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!
Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part, you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.
It’s officially Autumn here in North America and you know what that means? Yes, the leaves start to change…but The Simpsons Are Back! This Sunday marks the Season 31 Premiere! Woohoo!
So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode, the season premiere, this Sunday, September 29th, at 8pm Eastern on FOX (also at the same time on CityTV in Canada)….“The Winter of Our Monetized Content ”!
Gather ’round the tapping device everyone, it’s update time in TSTO! A little Halloween preview is live in our games! While this is a mini-event it’s still a new event in our games! Of course, an all-new event means all-new premium content in our stores, just tempting us to drop those pink sprinkles!
As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the M’nthster and R’lyeh to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this Hallow-Richard combo to your town…
Happy Musings Thursday my friends! This week I’m sharing some initial thoughts on the Cthulhu’s Revenge mini-event. A middle of the road approach to it all. And I compare this event to Garth Brooks…bet you didn’t see that coming! So before Cthulhu seeks revenge on me, I’ve got some thoughts, so let’s get to ’em…
Well, no break for the Tappers, as it’s back-to-back mini-events in TSTO…not too shabby. Yesterday Cthulhu’s Revenge launched in Springfield, in what appears to be a mini-event precursor to Halloween! Something to whet the appetite for what may be ahead in our games…at least we hope!
Of course, as with all events, a questline comes with it to help move us through the ins and outs of the event…and unlock all of the prizes. As was mentioned on the rundown post this mini-event is your typical standard mini-event. Follow the questline to unlock prizes and call it a day…until the next event.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just how to unlock all-new prizes… Continue reading →
There’s an in-game update live in our games right now! It appears to be a Halloween preview. At least I hope this is a preview and not what we can expect for Halloween…
Anyway, it’s another mini-event. Last 2 weeks, ends October 9th. Which basically spirals my whole theory about Halloween starting October 2nd.
I just got back from the drs, so just seeing everything now. I’ll go through and update this post with more info as I have it. For now, know that you need Homer and Moe free for the initial 6s tasks. Once that’s complete you’ll launch the mini-event and you’ll need Marge and you’ll need to collect 150 Tentacles (characters include: Homer, Lisa, Marge, Bart, Lenny, Carl, Grampa, and Moe. Plus new character with this event).
Back with more as I go through it…
More details below…remember Cthulhu Only gets Revenge Until October 9th…
As we sit here frakkin files, pulling pics, and typing a million words a minute to get our readers the latest updates and information…we sometimes find ourselves forgetting to stop and enjoy our own games. More so our neighboreenos. So we try to make it a point to hop in n out of the towns now and then to see what cool things YOU are up to. So we have decided we want to continue to focus more attention (as if we don’t already 😛 ) on YOU…our readers. Time to time we will be peaking into your towns, checking our Flickr, and also the posts in the comments below to see what cool ideas and designs YOU have come up with to make your towns unique and…well…YOU.
So here is YOUR chance to show off all your hard work, time, donuts & in-game cash spent. Send us your work, no matter how big or small and brag about it to the world. We want you to! Then keep your eyes posted to Addicts to see if YOU end up on our “SPRINGFIELD SHOWOFF”.
