Tidings Terrific Television Tune-in’ers!
(Today’s post is sponsored by the letter “T”)
Were you excited to see The Simpsons back last week? Did you enjoy the last episode? How did it fare for one that dealt with Grampa Simpson? Can’t wait for another new Simpsons episode? Well you won’t have to wait too long for the next such episode as The Simpsons is back this Sunday, with an all new episode! Woohoo!
So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode, the season’s twenty second episode and finale, this Sunday, May 22nd, 8pm on FOX (at the same time on City TV in Canada)….“Poorhouse Rock”!
So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week?
Here’s the episode information released from FOX:
“After Bart humiliates him at church, Homer finally teaches his son to admire his dad – until a visit from a magical, singing janitor changes everything they thought they knew.”
Unfortunately now that The Simpsons has moved from Fox to the House of Mouse, the YouTube channel “Animation on Fox” is no longer posting sneak peeks.
Be sure to tune in tomorrow night to see all the fun!
As always, after the episode airs we’ll have a full episode recap!
Are you excited for the new episode? What do you think will happen in the new episode? What do you make of the synopsis above? Excited for a musical episode featuring Hugh Jackman? What’s been your favourite musical episode? Did you know this episode is in response to an article in The Atlantic, that says the Simpsons middle class lifestyle is no longer realistic in the modern world? What’s been your favourite twenty second episode of our favourite family over the past 32 seasons? What’s been your favourite season finale of our favourite family over the past 32 seasons? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
The episode was so so but as a fireman, I loved the ending lol. Last good job of the middle class
It was kinda “meh” for a season finale. The main premise of the episode was familiar territory and the musical number was kind of clever at first but then it fell into tired, one sided political commentary. I guess I was just hoping for a little more originality for a season finale.
FOX / Disney couldn’t get off their Duff 🍺 and release a Season Final Teaser on YouTube (again, I’m not happy they’re still region blocked); but I can finally enjoy the last 6 Episodes of Season 33 via Hulu (let the binging begin Monday night!) 😀📺
Northern Mainer here,,….you need to relax. I had a lot more than that, but that sums it up. I understand its rough out there, but have at least 1 positive thought today.
On NPR last evening there was a “reveal” of sorts for the episode:
