Do we lose Polystar Currency prizes if we haven’t spent the coins by the end of the event?
Mystery Box?
For this event-specific mystery box you need to use the tokens before the event ends or the box will disappear. However, the tokens can then be converted to donuts.
For shattered dreams box…you’ll have until next week to use those tokens or save for the next box.
For event currency, I’m pretty sure you’ll lose the ability to earn out (outside of any outstanding task you’re currently working on) once the event ends.
I’ve found it interesting that after purchasing the premium characters they become required for the main quest line.
Not a huge fan of this one, waiting for act 3 premium
I picked it up right away because I’m out of town this week and wanted the premium payout to help me get through the prize track since I was unsure how often I could get in to tap.
At first I was very meh about the update and figured most of it would end up in storage but now I’m thinking of a Shelbyville studio lot in the Northwest Expansion as a counterpart to my Springfield lot. Springfield has the Krustylu and Itchy and Scratchy studios, Radioactive Man and other film sets, Nickel and Dime Animation Studio and Channel 6. The Shelbyville lot can have Polystar, One Week Wonder films, Stage 4, Ginormous Pictures, the Reality Channel and the Sands of Space film sets. The Heartmark Channel building could go with either one.
If Polystar Pictures Studio came with Edward Christian (the Assistant Vice President of Financial Distribution who goes at it vs Mel Gibson with one of the funniest celebrity segments in Simpsons History – you can watch it “Beyond Blunderdome” Season 11 Episode 1) I would have considered it (even though the Character would not be Voiced in the Game App) – come on EA! Edward Christian and Mel Gibson with Visual Character Tasks featuring Homer Simpson! 🤔
If I get Krustylu studios, does Sideshow Mel earn event currency for this Polystar Studios event?
No, only the characters listed on the Turbo Tappin’ and rundown post will earn currency for the event + the event specific premiums released for each act.
Even though he doesn’t earn event currency, I think he’s a worthwhile character to get!
