Just a reminder that the Showbiz Showdown Event Ends TOMORROW September 14th.
It’s time to for the studios to move out and for something new to arrive in Springfield!
As far as questlines go, what’s happened in the past is that the current prize you’re working on (on any Act questline) you were able to finish. Once that current prize was completed then the questline disappeared.
This means that you will want to make that final push to gather up all the things you want from the Event before it goes with the Event.

Things kick off for Act 4 with some dialogue between Sideshow Bob, the Vindicators, Krusty, and Homer…
Sideshow Bob: My name is Robert Terwilliger, your new director. Complete transparency…I’m a convicted felon.
Airshot: Convicted of what?
Sideshow Bob: Faking my own death, rigging an election, a bunch of attempted murders…
Krusty: Don’t forget the time you tried to frame me for robbery.
Airshot: And you want this guy to direct your movie?
Sideshow Bob: Would you rather star in a flop directed by Krusty, or in a blockbuster hit directed by a hardened criminal?
Moby Man: My agent said I’m one flop away from hosting game shows, so I choose the criminal!
Sideshow Bob: Alas, I can not change my past, but I can forge a new future. Your futures. For the better. Now, are there any objections before we begin?
Homer: Just one… Are you going to try and kill Bart again?
Sideshow Bob: If there’s time. Now, let’s take this scene from the top.
This triggers the Act 4 questline, A Recipe for Distress and is followed by 4hr tasks for Krusty and Sideshow Bob, as well as a task to collect Act 4 Currency (145). A Recipe for Distress is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.

Some of you had mentioned you’d like a separate reminder post for when the next Act of events will start. So here’s that separate reminder post…
Act 4 of the Showbiz Showdown Event starts up TOMORROW, September 6th, at 11 am ET!
*Remember this the FINAL Act of this event. So all questlines need to be finished by the time Act 4 ends on Wednesday, September 14th*
Acts 1, 2 and 3 of the event won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished them you have plenty of time to do so. But Act 4 will be starting up with its own prize track, questline, and premium character(s)!
Here’s who you’ll need free to start Act 4:
Sideshow Bob and Krusty have 4hr tasks to start Act 4.
You’ll also need the characters that earn event currency free. As a reminder, they are:
Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Grampa
Krusty
Flanders
Wiggum
Polystar Executive (Premium)
Airshot (Premium)
Hydrangea (Premium)
New Premium Character for Act 4 (Premium)
And finally, 1 new premium combo will hit during Act 4 that will help with the event, As noted above this character will help earn event currency, and you’ll need 150 donuts for that combo should you wish to purchase it.
