Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Lights! Camera! Actions! Krusty’s making a Sands of Space squeal, but will his movie survive the studio’s crazy crossover? Only time..and 5 weeks of tapping will tell!
As always, loads of dialogue with this one, so be sure to read along to see what happens! And of course, I’ll be posting it as each week wraps up…
Remember, this Act will still be playable until the event ends on September 14th. However, Act 3 will start on August 28th (note the Sunday start date)
Things kick off for Act 2 with some dialogue between Homer and Marge…
Marge: Great news, Homie! Krusty said he wants to hire us for his new movie.
Homer: I’m going to be a movie star?! I can finally yell “no autographs” and smash people’s cameras!
Marge: Krusty wants to give us our old jobs back. I’ll be the Assistant to the Director, and you’ll be another assistant.
Homer: Assistant? This is how he treats his stars?!
Marge: You’re not a star. You’re in charge of craft services, making sure there are breakfast burritos for everyone.
Homer: Alright, but I’m not happy. And I’m still gonna refuse to sign autographs!
Marge: *annoyed grumble*
This triggers the Act 2 questline, Asleep at the Reel and is followed by 4hr tasks for Homer and Marge, as well as a task to collect Act 2 Currency (115). Asleep at the Reel is the questline that will take you through unlocking all of this Act’s prizes.
Let’s take a look at what else is in store during Act 2…
Here’s the Act 2 Synopsis from EA:
Krusty’s first order of business is hiring a crew, which he opts to do locally because it’s a lot easier than going through a formal process. He ends up bringing back everyone in their old roles, making Marge the Assistant to the Director and Homer an assistant. Bart also helps out with effects while Lisa helps out with creative integrity.
Filming begins and Krusty is completely phoning it in. He does single takes on everything, and sometimes he doesn’t even bother getting a full take before wrapping for the day. Marge gets worried and calls a meeting with the Polystar executive and explains how poorly things are going. She mentions that the only silver lining is that they’re going to come in under budget since they aren’t using any props or effects. This revelation horrifies the Polystar executive because all of Polystar’s previous films have come in over budget, and they don’t know what to do with a film that’s anything but.
As I stated above, you’ll go right into the Asleep at the Reel questline, which is what the Act 2 story will follow. This questline is how you’ll unlock the Act 2 prizes.

Each Act will have a new premium character that will earn event currency. From what I can see, based on the info from EA, characters will be used throughout the entire event. So Act 1 will be used in Act 2, 3, and 4…etc.
Characters earn:
5 /4hrs for Freemium
8 /4hrs for New Premium

These are STILL unlockable if you haven’t completed that prize track. You have until the event ends to unlock ALL the prizes. So keep going with the earlier Acts if you haven’t yet finished it. You have until May 18th to finish those…

You know, when the spoilers for this event first dropped I was thinking that most the decos were going to be relegated to the inventory…but that desert set might become a ‘filmed on location’ in my desert outlands area…maybe I’ll make that whole outlands area one big film set lol
Great that Fractured Moon, that comes with Airshot, has a 4% bonus! That is a nice bonus.
