Another Event has hit our games, which means it’s time for another calendar. Snow Place Like the Woods, Act 1 hit our games Wednesday.
Here is a basic calendar to keep track of the currency needed to unlock all 5 items.
As Graham so clearly laid out in the Rundown post, the following 5 prizes are available in Act 1:
Now Leaving Springfield Sign (Decoration)– The Road More Travelled Pt. 1 and 115 
The Buzzing Sign Diner (Building)- The Road More Travelled Pt. 2 and 150 
Mystery Box Token- The Road More Travelled Pt. 3 and 115 
Roadside Car Football Launcher (Decoration)- The Road More Travelled Pt. 4 and 115 
Holiday Cabin (Building)- The Road More Travelled Pt. 5 and 185
So in order to unlock all 5 prizes, you need to earn 680 . That comes out to 75.6 per day.

Damn, waiting the best part of a week between finishing the 1st act and the arrival of the 2nd. I won’t knock myself out rushing the tasks next time
Yeah – I never understand why people do that. The only time I rush event tasks is if I’m short just a small amount of event currency to proceed to the next stage of the current event track (and the currency-earning task takes place in the same building for all of the characters, so I can’t send them all and then just get a head start on the next stage when I collect them). Otherwise, the only two reasons I can see for rushing the entire act is either if one is going to be, or has been, unable to play or if one is a moderator for this site (or one like it) and needs to be able to write about the act.
If I’m like 174 of 180 currency it’s worth 2 donuts to progress to avoid 4 hour wait.
Firing off a single bloodmobile for 24 donuts takes about 2 minutes.
Totally agree…that’s the kind of scenario I was taking about in which I pay donuts to rush event tasks. If I’m four of fewer characters’ task completions away from moving on to the next act, then I’ll rush those tasks. But it’s the folks who rush an entire act with donuts who mystify me (except for in the two scenarios I mentioned previously).
I thought I saw somewhere people mentioning a Gil sale during this Xmas 23 event.

Seeing plenty of Bart, but managing to get back in.
Sometimes a Hard Close and restart if a Retry doesn’t sort it, and sometimes takes a few tries but always get going again.
The “Snowball II Snowcat” snowman gives a 2% bonus but has the same 20 donut cost as all the other Simpson family snowmen (which only give .75% bonus). Seems like a good deal for those who focus on boosting bonus %.
They’re also only 1×1 so you can get 512% on a single land tile !!
