With Act 1, week 1, three new premium characters were introduced. In addition to helping with event currency, Baby Frink, Baby Moe and Baby Barney also come with their own, short, individual questlines, so let’s take a look at the full dialogue questlines.

Simpsons Babies Week 2 is About to Start

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a friendly reminder that tomorrow morning, Wednesday, August 14th, Week 2 (Act 2) of Simpsons Babies will be starting.  The official start time is 10am ET (1400 GMT).

While the Week 1 questline won’t be going anywhere, so if you haven’t finished the prizes you’ll have a chance to complete it even after Week 2 starts, all of the Week 1 Premium items will be leaving the store.

So if you planned to purchase Baby Frink or Gil’s Baby Moe/Baby Barney Deal,  do so before they leave our games tomorrow morning. (SIBs Linked)

Also, here’s some inside info to help you prepare for Week 2 to start…

During Week 2 Lisa will still be trying to sort out the Youthenizer mess.  This time we’ll be following Baby Marge in the story.  You’ll have to follow along with the dialogue to find out what happens, but here are the characters needed for week 2 tasks:

Homer
Marge
Bart
Lisa
Grampa
Maggie
Ned Flanders
Baby Moe (Premium)
Baby Barney (Premium)
New Act 2 Premium Character

You’ll also need Homer and Lisa free for the initial questline objective…

There will also be one new premium character combo introduced during week 2, and that character will be able to help with the currency earning for week 2.  (150 donuts will be needed if you’d like to purchase the character)

And that’s it my friends!  Be prepared for Week 2 to start up tomorrow morning!

Thoughts on week 1?  Ready for week 2?  Excited to see where the story goes?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

TSTO Crashing Bug

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, I was hoping to wait to write this post until I had more information…but since a number of you continue to comment on unrelated posts about the crashing bug I figured it’s better to address it in one place.  This way, hopefully, we can keep the “my game is crashing, anyone else?” comments to one centralized location.  Always the best way to share information, for sure.

Anyway, as I mentioned on the rundown post last week, there’s a crash issue happening for a number of players since this update hit.  It’s primarily impacting folks who play on Amazon devices, but some folks who play on older Android devices are having this issue as well. So, it’s not just you.

As of right now, I have no new news on this other than to say EA has indicated that they’re working on it.  My best advice, is likely something y’all don’t want to hear, you’ll have to contact EA on this.  I’ll drop the direct contact link here for you, so you don’t have to go searching for it.  As soon as I see any updates on this I’ll post about it.  In the meantime, if you do contact EA about it please keep me updated about what they say.

Additionally, there’s a thread started on the EA Help Forums.  So if you’d like you can add your “Me Too” there as well. Here’s that thread.

Also, there’s another thread over on EA help from a user named invisiblep169, with a couple of tips on how to “workaround” the bug.  From that post:

“this bug seems to be mainly triggered by tapping too many completed character jobs at once. tapping more than ~3-5 characters at once seems to be the main culprit in all of these crashes. your best course is to tap as few characters at a time as you can (try to tap them one at a time whenever possible). if there are too many in one area, move the building/decoration to somewhere isolated and tap it there. after getting those out of the way (and MANY restarts…), i was able to tap the rest of the buildings in my springfield with minimal crashes here and there. i guess the best thing we can do right now is not send characters on jobs. this obviously sucks, since the vast majority of my income comes from character jobs, but it looks like the only course of action right now.”

Hopefully, this helps those of you just coming here looking for info about this crash bug, and hopefully, this helps eliminate the “my game is crashing, anyone else?” comments on other event-related posts.  🙂

Simpsons Babies – Calendar and Math to Getting All of the Baby Stuff and more!

Well…call me surprised!  They actually seem to be on a roll here.  I mean the writers… Because the update feels like almost every other update lately.  But I digress…

What you are all here for is the numbers. The numbers that are going to help you get the all of the Babies…the Baby Stuff…and a whole lot of kinda random buildings. But, I have no fear that the writers will figure out a way to tie it all together.  So, Let’s Get Started!

Simpson Babies Week 1 Is Live! (Updated and Complete)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

TSTO is back baby!  We’re FINALLY getting on, what feels like, a somewhat normal update schedule!  Praise Jebus! We’re back to multi-events for this one.  So love them, or hate them, they’re here to stay at least (likely) through the end of the year.  The theme of this multi-event?  Simpson Babies…

Side note: Anyone else have this them song immediately stuck in their head upon hearing this update was called Simpson Babies?  They’re really taking this “owned by Disney” thing seriously…

Anywho….things kick off with 6s tasks for Lisa, and Bart.  This then kicks off the Simpsons Babies Multi-Event!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Seeing a bunch of you report issues with Amazon devices crashing with this update.  I, unfortunately, have no way to personally verify this.

Another IMPORTANT NOTE: For some reason, even if your game sound is off, when you start up TSTO it starts playing ambient sounds.  It’s incredibly annoying when you’re at work and something EA needs to fix immediately.  If your sound and sound effects are OFF, they should remain OFF.

**For part 1 you’ll need to send Marge and Homer on a 4hr task and collect 50 Broken Toys.  To collect Toys you can send: Bart, Lisa, Homer, Marge, Grampa, Maggie, Milhouse, Baby Frink, Baby Moe, and Baby Barney (New Premium Characters)**

As always, I’m going to continue to update this post as I run through things so keep checking back…

Flanders Family Reunion Full Dialogue Walkthrough

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Now that we’re nearing the end of the Flanders Family Reunion mini-event, I thought it would be a great time to take a look back at the dialogue (story-line) that took place over the last two weeks.

Things kick off with Nedward and Capri Flanders telling their son he’s hosting the Flanders Family Reunion…much to the surprise of Ned! Throughout the event, we meet a bunch of Ned’s crazy family members and see Ned try not to lose it.  Although he ultimately needs to rely on Homer J Simpson to help him deal with his crazy family.   So let’s take a look at all the twists and turns this mini-event had to offer…
