Hey hey friends! Wookiee back with a recap of a new Simpsons episode. Apologies for the week delay but life is crazy with school, etc. Better nate than lever, right? It’s time again for another episode recap for y’all. One of the many features we like to have on this site is recaps of new Simpsons episodes for all our friends who can’t watch them immediately or like our silly reviews of them. I love when there are new episodes of the Best. Show. Ever. on TV and it’s my privilege to not only watch new episodes, which I would do with or without this awesome site, but then break them down for all of you. I stuck to the stream of consciousness format for this. Basically I watch the episode once for my enjoyment and then a couple more times to catch as much as I can while jotting down notes. Without further ado… here’s my thoughts on Season 28, Episode 17: 22 for 30.

“22 for 30” and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Tomorrow’s the day the “22 for 30” episode tie-in is slated to leave our Springfield’s, so I thought now would be a good time to look back at how all of the items added (new and old) for this tie-in impact our Conform-O-Meters.

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the “22 for 30” tie-in brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a few new and old buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →

Episode tie-ins are back!  EA wasted no time in bringing us some new content, and this time it’s an episode tie-in for this Sunday’s upcoming “22 for 30″ episode of The Simpsons.  And of course all new update (no matter how small) means premium content in our stores to spend those sprinkles on!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon.  But don’t sweat it!  That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
