UPDATE 6-6-14: So as I am sure many of you are starting to notice as your timers are resetting for the day…the tasks for Number 1 are NOT lining up. It is so odd. The files…still the same. I even re-downloaded them all to check. Same. So…another glitch (good I guess?) and we are on repeat for Thursdays tasks. Got another message in wait with EA on it to see if I can get an answer…meanwhile…Look to Thursday for the set of tasks you will run into…unless it auto corrects itself.
UPDATE 6-5-14: It looks like the tasks disappearing is back …again. My best suggestion is the same as below…contact EA right away and start a frenzy in the forums. I started a new thread for it. I am also in touch with EA on the matter.
Will update if I hear more back. In meantime, please use the post I put up for Number 1’s tasks. You can see where you were on the calendar (it lists the task hours in order), then going off that you can see what tasks to look for in that time bracket and the characters to go check to see who has the task in their list. This may help bypass the glitch. Let me know.
830 PM EST IN GAME UPDATE: iOS and Android
A Hotfix Update just hit the games. I am hoping this will help to fix the glitch issue. Let us know if you notice any changes. In the meantime I will be going through files to see if any other changes came with it.
Looks like the update took away the NUCLEAR option. Maybe too many issues?
The update also took away the option to store many items, like flowers, shrubs, trees (palm tree too), lamp posts…etc. These were the same items people were stating went missing when the Nuclear option was used. This includes Kwik-E-Mart & Krusty Burger
Hey there Hoppereenos. I am starting to pick up more and more on a glitch a lot of you are running into within the game. I am currently looking into it myself.
Basically what I am seeing is players are trying to complete Number 1’s tasks, but after some are completed…tapping on Number 1’s head in the top right hand corner just allows the task info pop up to flash for a few seconds then it disappears again.
I have started to see some others reporting this on the forums…so if you are having the same issue…CONTACT EA NOW!!! Open those tickets to ensure you do NOT miss out on Emblems. They are critical to this event. We want to get this glitch under control while the event is new. Also, light up the forums. Make it trend and burn so a High Alert is put on it from there. It helps, trust me. Here is the link…
I will update with any info I find out on my end. Hang in there in the meantime and keep us up to date if you see the issue resolve itself (as none of the test games we have are showing issue).

Everytime i tap either town hall or stone cutters gate for actions i get the message unfortunately tapped out as stopped. Its happened twice this morning anybody else experiencing this?
Hmmm not that I’m seeing at the moment. I know sometimes my game randomly crashes for me. However, if it’s still doing it make sure you hard close the app and restart it. If that doesn’t work try uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Yeah thanks for that will try. Ive never had any issue with any update until now. Game only crashes out if i use town hall or the stone cutters gate. Will try what you said thanks again
Anytime, sometimes the game just randomly glitchs on itself causing it to crash. Frustrating…hopefully it works for you! 🙂
I have a question, since I don’t know if it is just me or everybody else as well.
I’m getting 60 emblems per day from friends, 60 actions, 60 emblems. I might add i have about 95 active friends. Is that ok? It doesn’t go as previous events (10,5,4,2,1, but only lets me get 1 per action)

60 is the limit for the day. Still tap your neighbors because each spy gives them 5 emblems. Your counter will reset 24 hrs from your first spy. The payoff in emblems is designed to be from your neighbors visiting you.
In my game, Smithers is missing! When I check on the town hall it says ERROR and when I press to take me to where he is it takes me to me burns.
Is anyone else having this problem?
It is an ongoing problem. Store Mr. Burns mansion and it will pull him out of the game. It is the only way around it for now. Sorry.
My number 1 only holds out his hands and drops his scroll open when tapped. I get no tasks and none of my friends have emblem counts or anything like that. Now, I cant even get into the game because it says cannot connect to the server.
As to my #1’s task glitch, after the youngsters drank extra cold squishes for an hour the next task was send an entrepreneur to repent for 2hrs. This seems to be following Thursday’s pattern.
Who do I pick to entrepreneur to repent. I just don’t get what to do? Please help me.

The tasks seem to be different for everyone. I got Celebrity instead of entrepreneur. But the list bunny sent is VERY helpful in knowing who to send to these tasks
It is true, that is why I listed each of the groups that are able to do the tasks. It is varied. Just happy to help all I can. 😉

Maybe this can be helpfull. I also got the glitch where #1 tasks flash when you tap him.
Eventhough the task screen flashes, the task he would sent you on still applies. So if you check your characters in springfield for weird tasks (or the tasks given on this site) you can find the character and task number 1 wants you to do.
In my Springfield after completing this task the glitch was gone and i could tap number 1 again without problems.

This morning i noticed the same behaviour as yesterday: exactly at midnight the glitch was there and prevented me from starting the first task over night. Now as i woke up 7 am (gmt+2) the glitch has gone.
Maybe it has something to do with timezones?
Not sure…but I am now seeing that it restarted Thursday for many too. 1 hour task to start again. o.O
My first task on Thursday was to send a HIGH ROLLER to the bad dream house. Today its to semd a brainiac. It seems like its repeatimg for me just with a different group of characters.
At midnight when #1’s tasks reset the first task was “send a Youngster to drink an Extra Cold Squishee” which is a 1hr task. When I checked your post on #1’s daily tasks, on the calendar I saw the first task was suppose to be 4hrs long. Is it possible his task schedule started over?!!! Is this part of #1’s glitch-fest?

Little off topic, how can one of my neighbors have an emblem count of 400+ and yet their Stonecutter’s Lodge has not been completed?
You sure it isn’t done? Maybe stored? That…or you may be seeing a glitch. People are reporting negative numbers of emblems
I can see where it should be. It’s at the build point when the pipes are sticking out of the ground, cinder blocks are lying around & the build site is encompassed by the red protective apron. So no it’s not in inventory.
I say a glitch then. Like I said…odd things going on with the emblems right now.
Hiyo! I was wondering if the ‘sorry hoarder’ thing is going to be a permanent thing or if it’s a glitch. Because it’s a pain. And I accidentally sent Apu on the seven day quest… Grr. But otherwise this update is awesome! And I would be kind of overwhelmed if it wasn’t for this awesome site keeping everything perfectly explained and organized! You all are the best 🙂
Not sure. As a 2d and 3d creative artist…I REALLLLLY hope not. It would mess me up so bad. I have THOUSANDS of shrubs and flowers stored. If I take them out and can’t return them…My game will crash. Lol.
A way around it…if it will allow…is to try and sell it, then re-buy it
Yeah, it seems crazy to me that they’d suddenly change how or if you can store things. The unlimited storage aspect is a really good part of this game. Hopefully it goes back to normal soon.
PS- one of my friends has an adorable miniature long-haired bunny named Wookie. Just a coincidence, but it reminds me of you guys!
I have a short haired wookie called Bunny :-)… But on topic now. I left a ticket at EA today about my lost decorations. You think they’ll refund it in anyway? Mayby like the 20 donuts whe had after the lag problem?

Tried to spy on friends just now and I’m getting money and xp but no emblems 🙁 is anyone else having this problem?
Check my post on this. You only get 60 per 24 hours. Same as Friend points. Same as the regular 3 taps per neighbor.

I had the same thing at midnight glitch came back however within 35 minutes it had resolved itself so not sure if it’s when it resets but mine are back up now 🙂
That is good. I have been communicating with EA on the issue on my end. I hope they are trying to get a permanent fix. Just keep the shortcut in mind in case it comes back tomorrow.
First of all can I say thank you sooo much Bunny, Alissa and Wookie. You guys are the best!! Right so, number ones tasks disappearing. I had the problem yesterday. It got fixed and now it’s back. At midnight when it was due to reset the timer it broke. My first task for today was one hour (it’s supposed to be a two hour task first but maybe that’s another glitch?) which I found looking through everyone’s task lists. When the task finished it was fixed. Now for the brilliant information I have worked out from the post of which characters are in which group (youngsters, criminals, kooks etc). I have worked out that if you use just 4 characters, you cover all the groups. These four are Quimby, Rod, Abe, and CBGuy. There are other combinations of the four I’m sure but they are the ones I’m using since I’m not using them for quest lines at the moment. So if it messes up again at midnight I can check those four and I should be able to find the task easily. Just an example of how you guys make life so much easier. Without you I would never have been able to work out who to check for tasks.

I thought this was excellent logic until…had to do a “celebrity” task! Don’t think you have that one covered. I haven’t figured out a way to use 4 characters, think it has to be at least 5…
I shouldn’t have made that comment when I was so tired. I knew it was five but one on task so my tired brain went ‘I only need to keep four free for when it finishes..’ Oops :/
Quick question:
If you are experiencing the glitch ( like I do.. ) Will you get more emblems after each task like usual or just the first 150 emblems?
Otherwise it’s pretty easy to ‘guess’ which characters has ‘odd’ tasks in their lists!

Can anyone share what the tasks are for today? Maybe I can still complete them, I.E, Task 1 is completed by?
Already contacted EA but they usually take 24 hours to reply, LOL.
Unfortunately, the tasks are randomly assigned. Only way to overcome this glitch is to check every characters task list for tasks you don’t normally see.
So I have completed the first day of number 1 tasks and now midnight has come (in the uk) and I got an alert for number 1 task ready. Tapped and it appeared and disappeared. I’ve had the update and done all the recommended trouble shooting. Just logged it with EA after reading your poll on the last update and how many people don’t log because they think someone else will and I admit I was in that camp but no more!!

It reached midnight where I am and the end of the countdown and now the box of number ones tasks aren’t coming up again. It flashes for a second. So frustrating! I really don’t want to be dealing with this in the middle of the night. I’ll troubleshoot, contact EA and let you guys know if anything changes.

Hmm, whilst it was fixed after this update yesterday, I’ve tried to go onto the next one and I have the same issue again. I’ll try restarting etc first and if that doesn’t work I’ll contact EA.

Did everyone receive the in-game update? I don’t recall my game updating in any way. My game often closes while I’m tapping away.
It happened so quick. Like a flash. I missed it myself, but saw the files and the changes. Alissa caught it (it is where the screen shot came from).
I got the glitch today after the update and on the first day of number 1 quests on the fourth one. It also said my game was logged into another device which I don’t have.

I not sure if this was a glitch or not or maybe intentional by EA. Before the stone cutters up date, I had a lot of plants and bushes in my inventory. After the update the plants and bushes are gone fromy inventory. Since the update I have not been able to store any plants or bushes or plants. I am annoyed by this because I had spent a load of donuts to get money to spend on these plants, for them to dissappear wihout refund makes me angry, I want my money back

Sorry if this has already been asked! I’m not having the problem with no.1s take not appearing but the problem I have is that I have the task to send criminal to study the bible but nobody has the task available? Anybody else having this problem?
As annoying as this is going to sound…it’s a 2 hr task…so double check Snake and see if he’s got it listed towards the top of his tasks.
It’s a new day with a new set of number 1’s tasks, problem is is that I got the glitch again. I had it before but the update fixed it. Now I can’t see today’s tasks. I’ve uninstalled then installed it again but it’s still there. 🙁
Today’s first task was 2 hrs…check characters in the 2 hr tasks to see if any of them have a new quest. Once you get it that may help reset it (others were reporting it showed up after the first one.)

Seems the fix only worked temporarily. It fixed the problem for me earlier today, but I’ve just rolled over to the next day’s daily tasks and it’s back.
Check out the 2hr tasks, that’s the first one today. See if any of them in that list have the task. Once you assign that a lot of players are reporting the list shows again.
My first daily task was one hour, it’s finished, and I’ve started the next one, a two hour task. It’s still glitchy.

I was just visiting neighbors when I realized my token count wasn’t going up. I’m not getting them dropped anymore. Is there a limit as to how many you can get? I couldn’t have gotten that many,, not even half my neighbors are active.

My game was working fine, now this morning I can’t login on all devices. I tried deleting all the games and reinstalling didn’t help. Then I go to EA site to post a comment and can’t even post the site just freezes. I have new buildings and tasks I am wanting to get going before work. I think we need a petition to have someone else buyout this game from EA because they obviously suck at it.
Servers were down for a good chunk of the morning. See if it’s back up for you now. 🙂
