Welcome to another edition of From the Mouths of Addicts, where YOU get to sound off on anything and everything in the world of Tapped Out! This week’s post is all about our Tapper of the Month for July qtuappele!
Back on July 10th we announced the TSTO Communities of Topix, Addicts & game voted qtuappele as the Tapper of the Month during our monthly Shout Out! As part of the Tapper of the Month we interviewed qtuappele to get a better feel for why she created her Springfields the way she did and some advice she might have for other Tappers when it comes to design.
So without further ado let’s see what she had to say!
Level 43 has arrived on our favorite Tapping Devices & with it comes signs of life for the once forgotten Krustyland! New rides, restaurants and decorations have made Krustyland relevant again, at least for 1 level anyway. Now I know you may be trying to decide if the new premium items are worth YOUR donuts, but don’t sweat it! We’re here to tell you what’s worth your donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add the Unoriginal Log Ride to your Krustyland? Well before you hit that confirm spend button, let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this splash zone ride to your Krustyland…..
Last week we asked you guys if you were planning on nuking your Springfield. This week we wanted to share those results with you, but also have a little fun with a new poll!
We’ll get to the results of the nuke poll shortly, but first let’s have a little fun. We all know Fox already has two mobile games based off of their Animation Domination, TSTO & TQFS. Here’s what the Addicts what to know…what OTHER shows from Animation Domination (current or over) would you most like to see a game based off of? If you don’t see your answer in the poll, feel free to mention it down in the comments below:
Make sure you let us know why you picked what you did in the comments below 🙂
Hey there Hoppereenos. Jumping by with a quick reminder of that fun lil time when YOU get to show off all your hard work and creativity in your town to all your fellow Addicts.
This week I want to see MORE of Krustyland. New decorations were added. Old decorations allowed in. This may make for some more fun designing ideas. So SHOW ME!!! What have YOU done with Krustyland and all the new stuff you can put in it?
Do you want to be featured on the next Springfield Showoff? Post your images to the Addicts Flickr, share them in the Comments below, share your images on our Facebook Page, Link them to our Twitter feed, or email us your screenshots at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com. We can’t wait to see YOUR designs! (Need help with images, just ask.)
All entries need to be in by NOON EST on Saturday, August 2nd. So hop to it. 😉
Oh Krustyland… how I love thee. Is it your shabby likeness to my beloved House of Mouse or is it your fabulous connection to Universal Studios? I don’t know that it even matters. I am an admitted theme park enthusiast and having one in my favorite mobile game makes me incredibly happy. Literally as I write this I can hear the 9:30 fireworks from the Happiest Place on Earth. Theme parks rock except for losing my phone at Six Flags last week, that stunk lol.
A lot of tappers have mentioned they wanted KL to get more love and I am so thrilled that EA came through with this latest level. 4 new rides and another decoration plus a free character… Wowza. For this post, we’re gonna take a look at just where all these new things come from.
Level 43 has arrived in Springfield! And, as usual, with the release of Level 43 many of the requirements to maintain 5 Stars on your Conform-O-Meter have changed. Let’s check it out and see what the new requirements are, so you can have all the information you’ll need to maintain that 5-Star Springfield!
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
What IS different about this update is it’s solely for Krustyland. So while the requirements for a 5-Star town have changed, not one of the new buildings/decorations will impact it. Instead the new rides, restaurants & decorations will impact your Krust-O-Meter. Although the requirements for the Krust-O-Meter do not change.
Confused yet? To recap…Conform-O-Meter requirements have changed with Level 43, Krust-O-Meter requirements have not changed with the update. New buildings for Level 43 will impact the Krust-O-Meter only, no impact on the Conform-O-Meter.
So enough explaining, let’s show you. At Level 43 here’s what you’ll need to max out your Conform-O-Meter: Continue reading →
Well Level 43 has arrived on our Tapping devices…and as I sat down to do the Level 43 full dialogue walkthrough, I realized I never posted Level 42’s full dialogue walkthrough. Of course we’ve had our Turbo Tappin’ (quick walkthrough) up since the update hit our games (check out the Level 42 Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough here), but I completely dropped the ball on posting the full version.
I know many of you love going back and reading old walkthroughs just in case there was anything you missed when playing the level, or if you just want to know what to expect when you reach Level 42. So for those that may have missed it…I bring you all the fun and humor of Roger Myers Jr & Level 42…..
How are all my favorite readers doing? Wookiee back from a little life-enforced hiatus to do what I do with some WDTCF action. I know these may not be everyone’s “cup of tea”, but I relish any opportunity to dish a bit on the origins of our stuff in TSTO. For this edition, I thought it’d be fun to talk about one of the premium character skins from this year’s yard sale… Gorgeous Grampa. If these posts are your bag, click more and we’ll be on our way.
I was watching FX the other week to watch one of my new favorite shows (The Strain) when I saw one of the coolest Simpsons commercials EVER. All week I searched and searched for it to share with you dear readers when lo and behold, I realized it was on one of my Liked Facebook pages all along in perfect quality. Click more to see the amazingness. Continue reading →
