Season Recap: Season 25

What’s up dear readers and Addicts!

Apologies for being away the past few weeks but had to knuckle down on school for the final few weeks. I’m still in the middle of finals but thought I’d take a quick break and write some thoughts on the latest season of the Best. Show. Ever. It’s amazing that this animated sitcom has ran for 552 episodes over 25 Seasons. Haters can say what they want but that’s some serious longevity. All season, we’ve had the chance to recap each episode for you. The following are just some thoughts I had about each episode. The long (mostly Bunny-written) episode recaps are linked in the titles.

Chester Conspiracy Theory

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

So by now we all know that about a week ago the world of TSTO was “shaken (not stirred) up” a bit when Chester Dupree entered our little games. A never before seen character, and his unfinished shed, arrived in Springfield for the premium price of 150 Donuts. Many of us, at the time, assumed it was an add-on character pulled from a small blip of the show (which it was) and that it was a secondary thought when planning Level 41. After all they needed a premium complementary piece to go with Bernice right? And who better than her own brother?

Wookie showed us all in his WDTCF: Chester Edition, Chester (and the shed) was first mentioned on the show as recently as 2012 when Homer has a thought bubble of Marge, who has a thought bubble of Dr. Hibbert, who has a thought bubble of Bernice…whew…that shows Dr. H and Mrs. H arguing and briefly mentioning Chester and the shed!

But was he really an after thought for EA? Or something planned all along? There appears to be more to it, so it seems. So, let’s put on our tinfoil hats and ride the Conspiracy Theory Express and see where it leads shall we?

Admittedly, it has been a little bit since I reported on anything about Krustyland in Hollywood and for that I apologize. Here at Addicts, I’m sort of the resident them park guy since I have a pass to Universal Studios Hollywood. Being super stoked about the press release of Springfield coming to my home state in Spring 2015 (check out this post), I find myself eager to check out the progress. Well, I went back in April and I’m here to share what I saw. Apologies for the delay in getting this to you but I’m blaming Easter.

Well May has come and gone and that means it’s about that time to pick our Tapper of the Month! Our cross blog monthly contest to find the Tapper of the month between TSTO Topix, TSTO game and TSTO Addicts has been set up because we want to feature YOU! Your town, your words anything/everything about YOU!
