Apologies for being away the past few weeks but had to knuckle down on school for the final few weeks. I’m still in the middle of finals but thought I’d take a quick break and write some thoughts on the latest season of the Best. Show. Ever. It’s amazing that this animated sitcom has ran for 552 episodes over 25 Seasons. Haters can say what they want but that’s some serious longevity. All season, we’ve had the chance to recap each episode for you. The following are just some thoughts I had about each episode. The long (mostly Bunny-written) episode recaps are linked in the titles.
Woe oh wow… another week gone by here at Addicts and you know what that means… yet another Weekend Update. Our chance to sum up all the interestingness that happened on the site for anyone who didn’t catch it all or just wants the reminder. Wookiee here. I don’t usually do these posts but as Bunny and Alissa are otherwise engaged, I get the chance to do this one. Hold on to your butts, it’s 2 AM and I just got home from karaoke.
Wookiee reporting in and I thought it might be appropriate to greet y’all with a non-English greeting. Semi-appropriate because this round of Simpsons News includes all international articles. Most of you know I like to fart around the ultraweb looking for things about the Best. Show. Ever. and boy oh boy did I find some different stuff.
How are my favorite tappers doing? Wookiee popping in to share some more silly stuff about the Simpsons. Most of this is older news but I think it’s funny and who doesn’t need a break from life in general sometimes. I’ve been saving up articles and figured it might be time to share. Most come from the Daily Mirror. Without further rambling, click more to see what this edition of Silly Simpsons includes.
Well Level 41 has been in our Tapping Devices for about a week now and while we’ve had our Turbo Tappin’ (quick walkthrough) up since the update hit our games (check out the Level 41 Turbo Tappin’ Walkthrough here) we figured now would be a good time to show you all the full Level 41 dialogue as well. So in case there was anything you missed when playing the level, or if you just want to know what to expect when you reach Level 41…here’s your chance to catch all of the humor!
So let’s get this walkthrough on the road shall we?
So by now we all know that about a week ago the world of TSTO was “shaken (not stirred) up” a bit when Chester Dupree entered our little games. A never before seen character, and his unfinished shed, arrived in Springfield for the premium price of 150 Donuts. Many of us, at the time, assumed it was an add-on character pulled from a small blip of the show (which it was) and that it was a secondary thought when planning Level 41. After all they needed a premium complementary piece to go with Bernice right? And who better than her own brother?
Wookie showed us all in his WDTCF: Chester Edition, Chester (and the shed) was first mentioned on the show as recently as 2012 when Homer has a thought bubble of Marge, who has a thought bubble of Dr. Hibbert, who has a thought bubble of Bernice…whew…that shows Dr. H and Mrs. H arguing and briefly mentioning Chester and the shed!
But was he really an after thought for EA? Or something planned all along? There appears to be more to it, so it seems. So, let’s put on our tinfoil hats and ride the Conspiracy Theory Express and see where it leads shall we?
Admittedly, it has been a little bit since I reported on anything about Krustyland in Hollywood and for that I apologize. Here at Addicts, I’m sort of the resident them park guy since I have a pass to Universal Studios Hollywood. Being super stoked about the press release of Springfield coming to my home state in Spring 2015 (check out this post), I find myself eager to check out the progress. Well, I went back in April and I’m here to share what I saw. Apologies for the delay in getting this to you but I’m blaming Easter.
Bunny hoppin by (I’m here…promise…just give me a lil time) for a quick reminder of this weeks Showoff. It comes courtesy Level 40. The Ah Fudge! Factory. Since I draw inspiration from others, I decided this would be a cool topic for this weeks Springfield Showoff. (Thanks DaPIMP for the suggestion. )
Now, I want to see what YOU have done with Factory. SHOW ME!!!

Well May has come and gone and that means it’s about that time to pick our Tapper of the Month! Our cross blog monthly contest to find the Tapper of the month between TSTO Topix, TSTO game and TSTO Addicts has been set up because we want to feature YOU! Your town, your words anything/everything about YOU! Each month we’ll pick a handful of readers across the three blogs to be featured in our Monthly Shout Out, where we’ll feature your town and some fun information about you. Then at the end of the Shout Out we’ll let the TSTO Community vote for their favorite. That winner will be declared our Tapper of the Month! This has been a fun process for Topix, game and Addicts!
We’ve enjoyed getting to know each of you through your submissions and we really loved seeing your creative work on display! We received many submissions for the June Tapper of the month and had a tough decision to narrow it down to just 5, but we did it! The writing staff of all THREE blogs came together and collectively agreed that all 5 of the finalists were Tapper of the Month material! So check out the top 5 and be sure to vote for your favorite! Remember the Tapper you choose could be the Tapper of the Month and be featured on Topix, game and Addicts for the month of May AND win a $10 gift card! So choose wisely!
