Hey there hoppereenos. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on another lil treat EA tossed into the game. MORE FREE DONUTS!!!
SPOILERS AHEAD!!!
We wanted to wait til everyone was getting closer to unlocking the Stonecutters Table to release this info, but many are now asking for it…so we just wanted to clarify what needs to be done to take advantage of this AWESOME Easter Egg in the Event.
First of all, you need to reach 31,500 Emblems to unlock the Stonecutter Table.
Once you have it, you need to locate Homer and put him in his #908 Skin. Then send him on his 12 hour task to “Sing the Stonecutter Song.” (It will actually be part of the mini quest associated with unlocking the table. So you can do this at the same time.)
As soon as he sits down at the table and starts singing, tap Homer.
This will cause the timer box to pop up. LEAVE IT OPEN!
While it is open, start tapping on Homer (he will be off to the side of the timer box.) At the 10th tap, you will get this pop up…and 10 FREE DONUTS!! WOOHOO!!! (They will be added right to your total.)
This is very similar to the Jebediah Statue Easter Egg (for those that don’t know about that one, click here.)
So there you go…ANOTHER way to get free donuts just for playing your silly lil game. Don’t stress on speeding through to do this. Kinda pointless to waste donuts just to win some. Lol. Just sit back, play, have fun, and enjoy this amazing silly lil game.

The first time I tapped Homer approx three times, I received the Jebidiah Springfield statue and ten donuts, I started to tap Homer again and I was given another ten. I did this when I had less than ten minutes left of Homer singing at the table.

You don’t have to tap Homer the first time he sings the Stonecutter Song. I already had Homer singing at the table for the third time when I read this post and tapped on him. I received my free donuts just the same. No need to worry if Homer has completed this task and you didn’t know about the secret prize yet; just send him on the task again!

Question…I just got the Stonecutter table and I noticed that I can’t rotate it, there’s no rotate option available. Has anyone else noticed this too and is this a glitch?
I just tried to rotate the table and it didn’t. Weird.
Hmm strange, well hopefully EA will fix it soon because it’s a pain not being able to rotate it sideways!
I don’t know if it’s a glitch or designed that way.
Yeah that’s what I thought that it was designed that way until I saw it rotated sideways in some of my neighbor’s towns.
Mine can’t be rotated either. I think it’s how it’s designed because you have the characters do the task with it, so it most likely has to be in a certain position to have the animation look right.
It’s a 2d animation so they’d have to animate the two perspectives separately. Not saying that they couldn’t but that’s why I thought they werent allowing it to rotate. Molly, are you sure you saw it rotated??

I didn’t see it rotate. I saw it placed sideways in some of my neighbor’s towns and I wasn’t able to place it that way so I thought it was a glitch. I just thought it was strange that some people can place it sideways and others can’t.
The rotated tables you are seeing are most likely the thanksgiving table
The stonecutter table has never been able to be rotated.
I haven’t been able to get the bonus donuts no matter how many times I tap on homer while hes singing at the stonecutter table? Anyone else have this problem or know about it?
First I’m seeing that happen. Double check to make sure you didn’t already get them and just missed the popup. After that try storing the Stonecutter table and placing it again and restart the task (if Homer’s singing right now storing the table will knock him off the task as well) then try again. 🙂
I’ve had it fail on my B game, too, after collecting the table just today. Nothing happens.
I thought this was the case on mine but I had tapped on Wiggum and not Homer. If it really doesn’t work for you though, let EA know so they can hook you up.

I have a quick question… I have about 116 donuts, I have been saving up and I was wondering which premium character is the best bang for my donuts. Haha. I wanted Sherri and Terri but because they didn’t come with a building I was leaning towards something else. Any input in muh appreciated!

On the stonecutter task of kids and women voting no on a law number 1 and quimby conspire for I got 20 donuts upon completion. I hadn’t seen it mentioned before.

I got an email from TSTO advertising 12 free donuts with the new update? I’m wondering if either of you know what they are referring to? I know there’s 20 at the end of the questline and 10 with this trick, but not sure where they are getting 12 from?
They just randomly show up in the game. Most got them right at the start and didn’t even notice them.

This event is the redemption for the mess that was tsto easter, all the doubts I was beginning to have about the future of the game have been put to rest. It’s so great in every way possible. Long live tsto! (And the stonecutters).
I wish I had a magic finger to get free donuts… ive not gotten any, nor have I gotten Mindy back since the beginning of tthe easter switch… and no response from EA on my issue/work order.
I dont get it… must not be in the stars for me. :-/
Free donuts wise you have to have the table. As soon as you win the table you can try it. 🙂
As far as Mindy goes…be persistent with EA. Email/chat with them every day or every other day. They can be super slow to respond, but the squeaky wheel gets the grease. So just annoy them with the issue, they’ll fix it for you 🙂
I just got 7 donuts from visiting all my neighbors! !!…that’s a ton more than I’ve ever gotten! !!

You don’t need the table to do this!! I have the stonecutters skin for homer, and I realised when you have him wear this he says different things when you tap him. So, I kept the box open where you select the tasks but I didnt select one. I tapped him around 10 times to hear all the phrases and a box popped up about the jebediah prize and gave me 10 donuts!! Woo hoo!!
Oh, that’s a different one. That’s the Jeb statue/donuts trick. That’s been around since the start of the game…don’t even need Stonecutter Homer for it. Check out this post to see what you found 🙂 :

I apologize if this is the incorrect place to post this, but it’s just an observation (helpful hint?) on neighbors… I noticed when I start my new day’s visits I typically start at the beginning of the list (it defaults to “Other Springfield” and lists the remaining “friends” in A-Z order) and I’ll hit my 60 emblems around username starting with G. I almost never get the 5 emblem bonus of clicking the main building because I’m sure others have bet me to it, because they start at A as well. So I’ve been going backwards from the “Other Springfield” and I have a higher percentage of getting the 5 emblem bonus. This allows usernames starting later in the alphabet a better chance of getting visits AND possibly a better chance of getting the 5 emblem bonus! Hope this helps!
Or you can go through your whole friends lists only tapping on the Lodge if it is open then go back through and tap on any open buildings. That is what I do when I have time, and I usually get about 20-30 5 emblems.
Just finished my Stonecutters task with Lisa and Bart and received 20 donuts from EA.
Yup that’s the sweet reward at the end of the main quest 🙂

Now ,to me, the stonecutter table is the best prize because it unlocks a lot of animated tasks and as a “mini prize” 10 FREE donuts. Despite missing 400 emblems three days I am pretty much on track.(4 days ahead) Also I’ve noticed that a lot of my friends spy on my when I’m sleeping because I always clear out my town before I sleep and when I wake up. And would you like to hear a riddle I made up?
I’ve got the same thing going. I wake up my town is full of spied buildings! I think a lot of my neighbors are either night owls or overseas…

First thing’s first. For a heads up some words might not mean what they appear to mean for example “two” might mean “to” or “too” , and there might be other answers that are correct but try to guess the one that to me is correct. 🙂

So I want to know if others have been having a similar problem that I am. My game will not let me get in and it has been doing this about 4 days now. Neighbors still visit my town, but I cannot. The donut will spin, then it tells me to “Tap to continue.” When I do, the donut spins briefly and then the game closes and sends me back to my phone homescreen. I am a premium player so this is extremely frustrating. I have contacted EA twice and still no solution. It seems they seem to listen to you all and give you replies so is there anything you all can do? It really stinks because the Stonecutter’s Event is going on and I am going on 4 days behind now. I have tried troubleshooting, deleting and reinstalling the app, and also tried solutions on my iPhone 4 and still the same problem.
Yes, it’s a known glitch at the moment. A reader reported that they reported their lock out to EA and were advised a patch was coming soon for it. You’ve contact EA, so if you’re missing stuff because of the lock out (like timing wise on the limited-time items), they’re usually very good about making up for it.

What ads are you speaking of? On the sidebars? On the pics? It helps us to know what specific ones you are running into issue with.
Hey Alissa, I appear to have a glitch with my game so before going to EA I thought I’d see if anyone here has reported the same issue.
I unlocked the Money Pool yesterday at 14k emblems (along with possibly the BEST animated task in the game!?), but now every time I enter the game or even visit Krustyland I keep getting the message that pops up when you first receive the Money Pool.
This would be great if it wasn’t a unique item as I’d keep getting them (I got two of the Sacred Chests with the same glitch) but now my prize board is still showing the money pool as the current (greyed out) prize despite having over 15,500 emblems.
I’ve tried storing the pool, exiting the game and coming back in to try and make the game think I’ve just received the pool but it makes no difference 🙁
We’ve had another player (at least 1) report the same glitch. Not sure what the deal is with it, but for now it’s still small enough spread (but I think because not too many people are there yet) that we’re saying contact EA directly on it. If I see more popup we’ll get involved and start a thread there for the info. It is a nasty glitch to have tho 🙁
Hi again, I have a fix! I did a bit of searching and found another user with the same issue.
All you need to do is visit a neighbour (or two). On visiting the first the same reward message will appear, but on the second it doesn’t. When I returned to my town the emblems were correctly counting towards the next prize, phew!
Bizarrely I do now have a spare pool in my inventory, but the game won’t let me place it, gutted! 🙂

I had that issue and I reported it and they fixed it within a few hours. Of course they did this by placing another money pool and the burns skin in my inventory. Won’t let me place the second pool or sell it so it’s kinda suck in my inventory.
I don’t have that glitch, but since I got the money pool my game is freezing more and closing frequently
Cool. Thx for the tidbit. Bummed that I started number 1 task early this morning in hopes that I could get them done today. Later it showed I hadn’t started and it was giving me a totally new 6 hour task. Now I am going to run out of time complete the tasks today. Wish they reset at 4 am like the sacred parchment tasks instead of midnight! On a bright note – my mystery box gave me 30 donuts! That’s right – 30! Wish that happened mote often!!!

Only in our B games that we rush with donuts (we DO NOT advise doing it. It costs an insane amount of money, and we only do it so that we can speed through updates/the game to share the results etc with you guys). In my A game (my main Springfield, the one I care the most about) i’m in the same place as MANY players here. Recently unlocked Burns and the Money Pool and working towards the next prize.
Our B games have completed the main update and prizes (not the parchment prizes), but that’s how we get you guys the details on everything for them. 🙂
And we appreciate your work and expense greatly, oh our great ones…!

Hi, really quick question please. Great event, but since I play what I thought was a lot I am failing on completing #1’s tasks. I usually send whomever on the last one @ 7 or 8pm.& then it resets, I’ll get emblems but no prize. I checked your calendar ( thanks, big help) and am on track as far as emblem count, but can’t seem to score the daily #1 prize without donuts. Will I still be able to get the cooler prizes?
Yes. If you’re just missing 1 you’ll still be good. Of course that’ll be you’ll need to rely on your neighbors to make sure they visit you and spy, but if you’re ahead now you should still be good. Just keep up on checking the calendar each day and see if you’re starting to fall behind. If it looks like you are maybe add some neighbors who will spy on you no matter what daily. 🙂
