Phew… that was intense. If you haven’t figured it out, Halloween time is approaching in our beloved TSTO and in preparation, I’ve been watching one or two horror movies to get amped up. In the spirit of upcoming in-game spookiness, I thought it’d be fun to pick some items I’d love to see for the next event. (If you’re interested, my 2013 list is here.)
To start off, let’s look at buildings. My biggest hope is for the return of previous items for newer tappers.
Of course, in the new building department, I’d love to see the mansion from “The Shinning”. ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES WOOKIEE A DULL FUZZBALL.
Previous Halloween events featured zombies and gremlins but I’d really love to see Springfield filled with Killer Dolphins. If that was eliminated by King Snorky last year, how about killing Homer clones or maybe even having crows fly all over Springfield a la Hitchcock’s The Birds? My little Ewok even suggested honoring the “Island of Dr. Hibbert” segment of Treehouse of Horror XIII and turn all of our characters into their animal versions. I’ve heard this idea before and it’s still genius.
Something that would bring me immense joy would be classic horror movie characters in Springfield. What could be better than Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, the Mummy, etc. running through our towns. I wrote about a bunch of their appearances previously. Alas, we’ll probably see the Tweenlight character Edmund instead. Is it too much to hope for Cthulhu in our towns?
Hopefully this year also includes some rad skins for characters. Here are some images of costumes I’d love to see.
Each of those could be fun but Rigellian Maggie to me is a must (with Clockwork Orange Bart as a close second). It’d be the perfect Halloween present to add Maggie FINALLY into the game. Besides all those, EA could also show some love to Comic Book Guy. I’d probably roar in happiness if we saw The Collector, Clobber Girl, Stretch Dude and of course Lucy Lawless.
So much goodness we should be seeing soon. Until then, it’s time to hide all my pens in the house so I don’t sign any shady deals in order to have enough sprinklies for this event. EA should have a bunch of returning and new items headed our way to frighten and amaze all of us.

I would like the animal hibberet island thing and it be similar to the Stonecutters event being that you earn most of this skins and some are premium and it would be great!
Something with the genesis tub would be cool since we’re essentially the gods of this tapped out tub. Not sure how they would do it though. Since this is my first Halloween, the pumpkin house is a must have and depending on the prices, witch marge and the aliens are great options.

A great post and if not a superhero geekfest I say day of the dolphin thousands of dolphins attacking buildings being sent to neighbouring towns……OK too familiar how about superhero geeks vs dolphin empire?

EA had better hurry up, we would have normally been playing the Halloween event by now.
The other game is already full swing with its Halloween update,and we are still left playing this awful clans special. Come on EA the Halloween special is the reason why I play TSTO.
Something that I’d love to see: Lunchlady Doris added, and having both “Cook/Serve Sloppy Jimbos” and “Cook/Serve Uterbraten” as tasks.
But as we’ll be finally ridding ourselves of the unneccessarily overlong CoC event, anything will be good.
I’m looking forward to Boobarella, Witch Marge, and Devil Flanders to return. I passed on them last year which I’ve been regretting for a year. I’m hoping for Hugo Simpson. If we get him, he better have a task to make Pigeon-Rats.

This is my first Halloween, so I pretty much want it all. But the things I really want that I’ve seen in other peoples’ towns would include the pumpkin house, Kang and Kodos, and Ghost Maude.
I’d love to see some of the other suggestions, like the Island of Dr. Hibbert. That would be great! I’ve been saving donuts and some game cash for the event, and even picked up an iTunes card the other day in anticipation. 😀

Willie Kruger would be amazing! Any classic Horror Character would also be great. I personally am hoping for Michael Myers just because cmon, wouldn’t it be awesome? Hugo Simpson should also be available.

This will be my first Halloween, and I can’t wait. I hear they’re the greatest event in TSTO. From what I’ve seen I truly hope they re-release ghost Maude Flanders and Booberella (for two entirely different reasons, I assure you — lol). Devil Flanders and the Kodos and Kang are a must, too. I’m a premium player and wouldn’t mind paying for their re-release.

Here’s my Halloween 2014 prediction. Vampires. We’ll be able to go to neighboring towns and tap characters turning them into bats. Much like a blood drive, we’ll collect blood for prizes.
I agree with therealistsitek, we are in October. This Clash spoof has gone on way way to long. Can’t wait for Halloween. I started playing last year this month. Would love to see the doughnut head Homer, devil Flanders and ooh ooh,…. The time traveling toaster attached to Homer’s hands. He could appear and disappear and little sparks could fly around him.
I think CG / 3D Homer (skin) and Hugo (character) would be nice. I wasn’t around for previous Halloweens so I’ll be interested to see what returns.

When items return, they are made premium. As for prices, it’s usually a mix of high and low pricing. You can check previous prices in our event page area. My fingers are crossed for lots of great new stuff and lower prices for returnees. Since there probably will be a lot of premium offerings, the prices don’t have to be exorbitant.

I would love Halloween 2012 items, since I joined just after it. I would love to add those to my Halloween section of items. The animal versions would be great. Other than that, I have nothing.
