Hey there Hoppereenos. The next Phase of the TSTO Halloween Event is upon us and now are sights are set on earning Ray Gun. So naturally that means you want some kind of guide or Calendar to help you get an idea of what totals to strive for to help you get the two additional Prizes this go round.
Now keep in mind that there are alternate options to getting some of the Personal Prizes BEYOND just earning them by hitting the Ray Gun goals. (As you saw with Phase 1, they are now available to create in Make A Things. So for those of you that might not make the goal in time, there will be a second chance) . So here is the general breakdown for the Ray Gun Calendar starting the day of launch and ending the night before Phase 2 ends (10/31 8GMT).

Just curious… Your calendar shows that we need to earn at least 646 guns per day to get everything by Oct 30. Another fan site shows that we need to earn 592 guns a day to get everything by Oct. 31. How come you guys decided to aim for a day earlier?

It gives you a buffer, so you’ll finish on the 30th…since it’ll switch to Protein Strings at 0800 GMT (4am EDT) on 10/31. We always shoot for a day sooner to allow for a buffer with timing.

i have al ready the Hover copter ( great animation) and now seaving treathbags.
The level update seems to have reduced the amount of Ray Guns needed for the final prize.
…or is it a nice glitch? My game is showing 4850 are needed to get the Hover-Copter
Either your game is glitching or you’re looking at the wrong prize. Hover-copter is still 7100…make sure it’s the one that’s circled in Blue. The one is Blue is the current one you’re trying to get…
4850 is for the gold treat bag right before the hover-copter.

Hi I have a question yesterday I was collecting money and guns on my friends (46) Springfield but when I was half through the guns stopped popping out for all the rest of the Springfields, is ther a limit of guns you can collect or what’s happening? Is it normal?

If you do all 3 actions in each town, 30 friends per day will give you Ray Guns…the rest just cash. 90 actions is the daily limit..

This is just my tip for how I collected a lot of rayguns. As soon as I collected the last prize in phase one, I stopped opening treat bags. I collected maybe 200? I didn’t count. I just know it took a while to open them all. Anyways. It put me very far ahead of the calendar. So if you don’t like these prizes, hold on to the treat bags. And when you finish these prize, hold on to the treat bags 🙂

Is there anyone else having problems in friends towns? When squishing regilians there I don’t get ray guns! I don’t know if I will be able to reach the prizes with this glitch!

Question: If I release grem-aliens after reaching my 90 ray gun limit with friends per 24 hours, will they still collect ray guns or be considered a non-action?
They will still collect. You can even send them to towns you’ve already collected in.
I have some FB friends/neighbors that haven’t played in EONS–no aliens to squish–but if I disconnect my FB, the game still won’t let me add new neighbors. Is there a way to delete ‘dormant’ neighbors?

I’m afraid it’s not possible to collect the last prize for who plays completely free. Even tapping every way you can. Not enough.
Well…the only donuts I’ve spent is for the hunting license…so if you take away 180 Ray Guns extra i’ve got from visiting friends over the last 2 days for the license I’m still over 2,000 Ray Guns with tapping for free. it is possible. You just have to log in every few hours and clear your town, and use Grem-aliens to your advantage.
It is definitely possible to play free and get the prizes. You just need good neighbors who drop eggs and you need to have everyone trick or treating. Plus you get free donuts tapping… Hard, but possible.

For phase 1 I got every item playing freemium. It is possible.
I play for free and have already collected 2100+ guns. Have not bought a single premium item yet. It’s do able but requires logging in a couple of times a day and making sure you get the maximum amount of bags you can get a day from trick and treating.
Strangest glitch…. I just had one of the little, regular rigellians racing around my town the way the gremaliens do. I could not tap him. So weird!!
That is odd that you couldn’t tap it. I know they speed up when they’re going to attack a character though..
I’m sorry if this was posted somewhere but I couldn’t find any info anywhere and reading all the comments can get weary. Is the Bulldozersaurus a character with no tasks that walks around or similar to the Great Pumkin and is stationary? I removed it from my inventory completing the set but can not locate it anywhere in my town.. Thanks again for your time.

Thank you.. Went back into my Springfield to clear tasks while waiting for a reply and found out Kang had to be free to start dialogue in order to release it into the game.
Sidenote: think the Great Pumkin would be sweet as a NPC and Bulldozer the stationary one but both are still cool as is
How are you suppose to get all that? I tap the ones in my town every hour or so and I got to my neighbors until I can’t get anymore and I open up the bags and send out my eggs but I don’t get what the calendar says!

Took me all day to get 645 rays yesterday, but I went over 700 thanks to some awesome friends and their grem-aliens, so I’m ashtray l already over halfway to today’s goal!

As others have pointed out, this second phase just seems like filler material… nothing really interesting. I wish there was a button we could push to just skip this part 🙁

But I can tell you…I got to Hovercopter in my B game yesterday (using donuts)…a complete letdown.
First, thank you, Alissa, for giving me hope that I could make the quota for the DTD. I tapped like a madman over the weekend and as a result, Homer is likely finishing his tasty “torture” task as I type. {I cannot be sure as there is No wi-fi access & game playing at work.}
Secondly, please tell me it flies a whole lot more than the falcon. Like across the screen or in a really big loop or something. Something more than a really short levitation straight-up and landing straight-down. My precious freemium donut gain was not worth the bird. I’m wondering if I the need to go as manic this phase. I may have to go extra hard on phase 3 for U.B.O.
No…it goes up (barely) and comes down. I’ll have a post on it a little later.

Hi, I wonder if you could tell me why one of my neighbours has already Collected over 15,000 protein strings? I thought that didn’t start for another 10 days?

Unless it’s a glitch where you’re seeing that show a number and there isn’t a number there…more than likely they’re cheating (ie using a hacked or modded game). The nice thing about the different phases is it can really call to attention who’s cheating and who isn’t.

When does the 24 hr clock start?
When Ray Gun gets tapped once with 3 Aliens in a cluster, provided we have the stick with the nail and area has a wide circle and “catch ” all 3 at once, is that considered 1tap or will it automatically count as 3 taps?
Also, what abt our buildings with $$ signs and cash register etc on them? Will they be counted in the 90 taps total for 24 hrs?
Or, do we wait with buildings to catch our money after 90 taps when no longer collecting Ray Guns?

Clock starts when you visit the first neighbor. If you’re not sure who that is let all of your clocks reset so everyone as 3 actions available and then you’ll know.
Yes, counts as 3.
During this event tapping houses etc has been disabled, so you won’t be able to tap them in a neighbor’s town. If you see someone that has houses available to tap on your visits, that means they haven’t updated to Halloween yet.

The bulldozer monster seems cool however.
Also how do you get the burns party costume. Is it just doing moes lengthy questlines.??
Also I heard that the U.B.O which is from the episode where mr burns was really the alien people saw in the woods of Springfield. Was another one of Mr. burns”ses costumes. Who knows.

Thanks for the calendar! Really appreciated.Just with the rayguns from tapping in my town, my friends and treatbags from my four kids + random drops I am already above the daily amount needed for the first day. So it looks like the copter prize should work out.
I even have started to saving the eggs for now, since I really want alien burns and the requirements are probably going to be even higher in the last round. >__<
Is there a way someone can break down the best strategy to get the most currency each day? I check mine several times a day and visit friends but I’m somehow always behind.

Spend 100 donuts and buy the Portal to Rigel 7. Squish the aliens, visit Krustyland, go back to your Springfield and they will have respawned. Squish and repeat. I was able to get the Hovercopter in a few hours yesterday.
While interesting…highly unlikely. The Portal spawns every 8hrs and visiting Krustyland does not impact that spawn time.
Try it. Also, check the comments section on “should I buy” for the Portal on your own website. Others have noticed the glitch as well. The 8 hour counter resets every time you leave Springfield. It doesn’t matter if you close your device, visit friends, Krustyland, etc…
I did just try it. And I’ve tried it before. Several times. Nothing.
Strange… Maybe it’s an operating system specific glitch? I’m playing on Kindle and it works fine for me. I’ve even added an extra portal for more aliens to squish. I’m already well over 8,000 ray guns.
Maybe, I’ll check on iOS later…but I know Android it does not work on.
Just sprung for the Portal to Rigel 7 on Kindle. Though I don’t yet have Krustyland (just minimal restraint on spending for donuts lol), I noticed when I came back from checking friends’ places that it did reset. Definite glitch. I will not be sad if it sticks around for Phase 3; I want UBO like no other. So, though Kindles can suck like when they can’t get FXNow from the Amazon Appstore, they can be totally awesome at times, too. 🙂
Me, too! I made sure that my game updated at midnight and I started collecting immediately. I literally left my game open on my desk all day yesterday and smooshed every single alien that I got in my town. I visited all of my friends – with the Alien License, so I got double ray guns for each of my 90 actions – got maybe 25 gremlin eggs dropped in my town and left 18 for others, got 100 ray guns by shooting down UFOs, and earned around 20 in the treat bags and I still barely got to 600. I started today a full 50 ray guns behind the target goal. Without the License I would be 140 behind and without the UFOs I would be 240 behind… I wonder if it’s a glitch in my town? Maybe I’m not getting enough aliens? I was about 8 hours late in the update for the initial launch and so I thought that I was behind because of that (the last phase I had to pay donuts to get the Donut Torture Device) but now tat I’ve been on top of it the whole time, it seems that I’m being short-changed.
Beyond the DTD I don’t really mind. I’d like the DIET sign in the next phase, but for this portion the prizes don’t interest me much so I won’t be paying donuts to catch up.
I’m curious as to how many times a day everyone is going in to squish aliens? How fast do rigellians regenerate?

In phase 1 I noticed you would get 3 probes per squish, now you only get 2 Ray guns per squish. Is that right?

I really hope that EA do something about hackers soon i’ve been playing thto since the begining and have spent so much time , effort and heaps of my money to make my town what it is and to collect everything and i’m getting really annoyed because i’m seeing more and more people on my neighbours lists just suddenly going from having nothing to everything over night it’s so unfair to us honest players that pay for what we want grrrrrrr…….
I’m only missing 2 buildings and a few little things like burn’s fruite batman outfit and one of the buildings i’ve wanted since the beginning is being bought back with this event , The subatomic collider and black hole and then all i have to wait for is the mapple store which i hope retuns at christmas seeing these hackers just get the items just like that is really getting me down.
Why focus on them? If they’re ruining your fun then they win. Don’t worry about them. Let EA handle the “police” work. If you dont like them as a neighbor, remove them. Just enjoy your game and have fun playing. 🙂
This is my standards. Unless there is an obvious item, the player with all items for the new phase 2 on day of the release does NOT mean they hack. For not that much money/donuts…A player can easily speed on through. Not to mention many of us seasoned players had many of the items from last Halloween’s and sales after. So it is quite easy to obtain the new items if you are a Premium Player.
Don’t be so quick to judge someone you don’t know. 🙂
