I swear sometimes I think EA has tracking devices on Bunny, Wookiee and I. They always seem to wait till we’re not right next to our computers to hit us with an update!
Anyway…let’s see what Level 47 has it store for us shall we?

As mentioned above…Mayor Quimby starts things off for us. You’ll be tasked with building the Quimby Compound..only $1,000,000! (actually that’s a decent price break considering how expensive the other buildings have been) and it’ll take 24hrs.
And the Quimby Compound unlocks…Freddy Quimby!
Here’s the rundown for all the Level 47 Goodies…
First of all…you’ll notice Halloween is still lingering. Not sure what’s up with that, but you can still craft you just can’t win the prizes. (Note…some players are reporting you can still win the prizes when you hit that prize point. They’re just not shown. So try to continue to squish Rigellians and see if you can hit that next prize!)
Freemium:
Buildings
Quimby Compound– $1,000,000, 24hr Build. Unlocks Freddy Quimby. Earns $300, 30xp/24hrs. 5×15
Decorations
Rat Trap Delivery Truck- $150,000. Improves Obedience.
Characters
Freddy Quimby- Comes with the Quimby Compound.
Premium:
Buildings
Florence of Arabia- 175 Donuts. Earns $135, 15xp/4hrs. Requires Level 27. Comes with Princess Kashmir. 6×10.
Decorations
Quimborghini- 50 Donuts. Adds 2.25% bonus to all cash and xp.

Princess Kashmir- Comes with Florence of Arabia
French Waiter- 50 Donuts. Stand alone character, but does earn at a premium rate.

ugh because of this Downs glitch I seem to still be stuck in Halloween. EA told me days ago that my case was “high priority” havent heard a word from them since. i cannot express how badly i wish i never bought that dang race track….
Did you check the app store for the latest update?
It would be nice if they gave us some daily task, like the riddles during the Stonecutters event, that would allow us to earn donuts. Or have us get donuts for finding Sideshow Bob would be good too.
I get frustrated. in game update or not, every time i get halfway close to the next level with the donut prize, they udate it and it’s gone. I play every day and still cannot get there before it updates again.
Anyone else notice a glitch in the spooky house and pumpkin house after updating to end Halloween? It says there are 3 hrs left till it earns $ again but if I jump out of the game and right back in, I get more $ and xp. I did it several times paying attention to my total increase, just to be sure.

I think that the Rigellian Tribal Huts and Spooky Houses are currently experiencing a glitch. They are ready for collecting every time I open my game, even though they start off with a 3h counter after clearing them.
The Pumpkin House also seems to be affected.
Last year’s Thanksgiving event started a week after the Halloween event ended. How long did it last again? Just looking ahead for likely timetables…
I believe it ended right around the 3rd of December…so about 2 and a half weeks.
Just noticed that when I go to visit friends and then return to my own town, no matter how much time has passed, the Rigellian huts have payouts. Anyone else?

It seems there are two game updates pending. One, the update that brings Level 47, is automatic and just happens.
The other update is the one that removes the Halloween event, and for me as of a couple hours ago (8pm MDT, 7pm Pacific, 12 Nov), was avoidable as long as I left automatic updating turned off. I truly didn’t think I’d be able to get UBO — but after much nail-biting and alien squishing, I finally crossed the line at 14,900 protein strands. There was just a pop-up message saying UBO had been won; the prize window itself had said there wasn’t anything available, but stuff could still be crafted. Of course, I had to go into my inventory and click on it for the skin to be applied to Mr. Burns.
Anyway, as soon as the Halloween removal update was applied, everything in all three of my games went back to the default Springfield. Kids who were trick-or-treating finished up by producing money and XP instead of treat bags. Friend Points from visits went back to tapping on buildings rather than squishing aliens. The pumpkin house(s), alien huts and the Rigel portal produce money and XP now. And of course all of the squishable aliens and gremaliens disappeared completely, including from friends’ towns where I know they hadn’t yet updated.
What isn’t clear is how long the Halloween-removing update can be avoided…
Probably a day or 2. I haven’t updated out of Halloween to help any neighbors still needing it…
Desperately need more land Bunny. I am a completist and have absolutely no where to place anything. Any clue on if and when we can expect any more space..
although i’m not Bunny….I can tell you there’s nothing right now indicating more land. Usually it’s about once a year they’ll release a new strip. (Halloween 2013, Clash of Clones 2014..) Hopefully more will be coming…
Just went to my Krusty Land and noticed that the people there don’t give you tickets anymore. Is that the same for everyone?

The rat trap trunk do you know the XP produced? Could this be a better donut farming tool to blood donation trunk ?
It is 15,000 but your bonus multiplier will also impact it. So it all depends on what % you are at on what you will get out of it.

Usually Thanksgiving is a SMALL update. Meaning, it’s only a week or so with characters, decorations & a questline…but it’s not a BIG event like Halloween or Christmas. There won’t be prizes to win, or currency to collect. It’s just a small minor update. My guess is it will hit next week, since Thanksgiving (in the US..ie Springfield) is 2 weeks away still. Patience… 🙂

Kinda upset after reading this. I looked it up to make sure if I did the update I wouldn’t be stopping my Halloween crafting. Unfortunately the above message is wrong. Soooo, if you are still trying to craft some items…do not do the new update. You just won’t be able to visit friends that updated. Gosh darn it….I was so close to getting the last couple items I wanted. Ugh!
The first in game update did NOT stop Halloween. That part is correct. That was a forced one. The App Market update WILL stop it. We have stressed that over and over. That is the one that clears it.
HUGE thank you to Bunny for posting that it might still be worth persevering for UBO even after the Halloween prize counter seemed to say it was all over! I would have given up, but thanks to you I didn’t, so managed to get UBO in B game and an extra rigellian shrub in A game, before updating!
Still getting treehouse alerts hours after the update…your town is overrun with rigellians. Very odd..

Ok, so, don’t know about anyone else but whenever I leave my town (like to visit other towns or KrustyLand), my spooky house and all my rigellian huts re-spawn (probably not the right word, but you get the idea) money and XP. I was able to get extra donuts because I did it until I got the bonus level inside the level
Me too, me too…my rigellian huts, spooky house, and pumpkin house (guessing all of the halloween buildings) keep respawning money and xp , whether it’s out of my game or to visit my neighbors. Woohoo! The Quimby compound took a good chunk of my money so in and out and in and out for me, more monies honeys!
I went in and out of Krustyland for over an hour Tapping away last night. As of this morning, it was still happening. 😉
I have this too. Using an ipad2. I can leave the game, come right back, and can click on spooky, pumpkin, and the hut. i moved them around to put them right where the game opens, still works.
I love this update. Quimby Compound was another perfect addition for my mini mansion neighborhood I’ve been working over the years. Please more mansions! Lol you guys are awesome thank you for keeping me posted.

Did in game & App Store updates, all cool & building the compound. Doing my friend visits & seeing the FPs pop out. Only problem is my FP bar still shows maxed out on level 12 so not counting. Anyone else seeing this?
It tends to happen each update to new FP Prizes. Give it time to kick in too. Sometimes a day or two.
I updated, it shows the new items for sale in my game but halloween didn’t go away. Any idea why?
It’s rolling out slowly for some reason. Some app stores have it some don’t.
The iPad App Store was not showing an update for me, all I had gotten was an in game update earlier in the day,so I did an uninstall/reinstall and no more halloween for me!
Happy to see we still have the autumn trees after the update. Love them. There are new little kids in Krusty Land, too.
I received a in-game update on my ipad but no appstore update. It seems i got everything from the level 47 update but still have aliens.. But I did get the appstore update on my ipod. What is going on here? lol
Check again. They hit separately. Try to restart your device and look. That usually helps kick mine in.
To get it to work on my iPad, I had to do an uninstall/reinstall. The App Store wasn’t showing an update, had only received the in game update earlier in day. No more Halloween for me! Hope this helps. 🙂
