In the midst of all the Turkey talk in Springfield, we’ve got another little crisis going on…King Toot’s has closed down!
In an episode tie-in for this week’s Simpsons episode, “Covercraft”, it’s reveled that King Toot’s as shut down due to a “disagreement” with Moe, his long time neighbor. Of course that’s all we get of the story…as they naturally want us to tune into The Simpsons on Sunday night to see what happens. BUT we do get another musically inspired building, one that Lisa refuses to use! Of course to get the rest of the story you’ll have to fork over some donuts and purchase the premium Guitar Central building.

Homer: Your sax-a-ma-phone?
Lisa: Yes, my sax-a-ma-phone.
Homer: And you need a re-a-ma-eed to play your sax-a-ma-phone?
Lisa: Yes, I need a re-a-ma-eed- to play my sax-a-ma-phone.
Homer: Then let’s go to the st-or-a-ma-ore!
Lisa: Are you ok?
Homer: I think I’m having a stro-a-ma-oke.

At this point you’ll unlock Guitar Central in your store. This is a premium building you can purchase (until Tuesday 11/25) for Springfield. The questline will continue if you purchase it.

Lisa starts
Homer: Hey Lisa, a big box music store opened in Springfield. We can go there to get your reed.
Lisa: I would never go to a big box store. For me, it’s Mom and Pop or nothing. Unless I need something right away, then I use Amazon Prime.
Homer: But if you don’t buy a reed, your licks will be dry and scratchy. Dry and scratchy like a cat’s tongue.
Lisa: Isn’t that a line from the episode “Covercraft”?
Homer: Look, people get tired. They reuse things. There’s only so much gas in the tank! I’m fine with it.
Lisa: Well, I’m not going to this “Guitar Central.” I’ll just make my own reed out of a Popsicle stick.

I bought this straight… I guess decision to spend 50 donuts is much easier to make than if it’s 150 donuts… 🙂

I noticed tonight that Krusty has a 16 hour task at the Stomach Staple Center. I play almost every day but took a break (wasn’t playing daily) a few months back, did I miss something?

I love how, despite not buying a guitar, Greta is still able to both chase and beat Homer.
Wow! I’m still not getting Guitar Central. However, I love these types of questlines – this one features a lot of parts, it involves lots of Springfieldians (multiple times even!) and very amusing dialogue (I’m partial to Lisa’s hypocritical shopping philosophy statement, lol).
lol that’s why I like posting full walkthroughs for these guys. For those that don’t want to spend the donuts, but still want to enjoy the questline. Especially when it’s amusing! 🙂
2 things I find strange aboyt the quest
1. For part 10, you can potentially have Homer at the other ebd of your Springfield.
In part 11, the U.B.O. can participate in the beat down.

Weird…Two Minutes of Hate pt.3 never starts…
It’ll only start after you buy Guitar Central..
I bought it as quickly as it was available. I’ve spent many an hour in a Guitar Center; my brother worked in one for several years.
With the multiple demands on Lisa, between all of the activities, I have not gotten very far, but I am already glad that I bought it.
(Side note, I was down to 30 donuts after buying other Thanksgiving premium items, so I decided to try a Golden Scratcher or two to get me over the 50. Bought one, hit it big, 100 donuts for 99 cents!)
I was so miffed when I read this!! I can’t win an argument and here you are winning donuts…but then I thought…I did win the surprise box yesterday and inside that was another box, and inside that box was another box, and inside that box was $250…so that was cool…then I logged into my son’s town and had to tap again at daily prizes and again, I got a surprise box and when I clicked on it….out rolled THIRTY donuts!!! I was in the state of shock! And again I am just so miffed cos I still have to get another ONE measly donut to get the guitar centre!! Oh well…back to tapping!! And I think I might just get a golden scratchie or ten now! Lol.
