A couple of weeks ago we told you about an idea we have been talking about doing since before the Addicts sites were formed. Meeting up with a community of players, people like us. Just hanging out, chatting, playing the game, and having a blast.
Well it’s finally happening…
Bunny, Wookiee and I would like to invite YOU to attend our first official Meet and Greet! Here are the details:

Fans of The Simpsons Tapped Out and Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff…come hang out with the Addicts!
We’re holding our first official Addicts Meet and Greet….and the “Bunny Water” is on us! We want to hang out with you and talk TSTO, TQFS and I’m sure Bunny and Wookiee will even have a few Star Wars convos up their sleeves!
So come out and meet Alissa, Bunny & Wookiee (and maybe a few surprises along the way)! Light snack and Drink on us! And of course we’ll have some awesome giveaways! You MUST be RSVP’d to get in. Space is limited, so hurry before we’re all sold out!

Would have been there if it were the last week in August, but don’t expect to be able to travel by March (next surgical consult isn’t until April). I’m hoping to be able to do my usual trip to New Jersey in August, because I had to miss it last summer!

It would be really cool if you could also host a party thread here whilst you are there in tandem. That way those of us who are too far away could also join in!
You could let us know who’s there, post some pics and comments from your party and we could all still be a part of it…it is a community here and I don’t want to be left out just because I am all the way over the sea

Hey everyone. I will be there. I already RSVP’d thru the link provided in the post. On the site to RSVP, it mentioned something about tickets so I was wondering if I need to print something out or if my name will be on a list? Also, do they have free wi-fi at the bar so we can play while we are there? I was also thinking it might be fun if you could put up a post just for this event where we can not only get info but also post if we are going and things like that. I hope some of my neighbors are going so I can meet the people behind the springfields I visit everyday. I can’t wait for this event. It’s such a great idea. I’m surprised EA doesn’t have events like this but even if they did I doubt it would be free. I wonder if EA realizes how much this site adds to the fun and enjoyment of their game. They might not see it but we do and so on valentines day, I say thanx and we love this site and the people who run it. On march 28, the center of the tapping world will be in New Jersey and I will be there. See you then. Have fun.

If it was a different time I would go, although I live in Hawaii I would still fly there to attend however I got stuff to do, dang court and dentist …should tell them to reschedule as I have better things to do like party with Simpsons fans would love to go I’m seriously bummed out
Might actually be moving to NYC next month for a job, but it’s the same time I was hoping to come home for one last regional competition with my chorus. Decisions, decisions.

The floor is my best friend. It is always there to support me when I fall.
I tripped over a painted line in a parking lot once! I’d swear the paint reached up and grabbed my foot but my friend said I was just a dork for tripping over paint. (For those who might be wondering, I wasn’t drinking either — really!)
Excellent idea, and I hope it is successful enough to warrant other meet and greet events elsewhere (he said knowing there is no chance in hell of one happening in Omaha, because…c’mon, it’s Omaha. We get shady lawyers who manage Cinnabons.)
Are there Omaha Steaks on the table as a “bribe” ? Lol
Honestly, if given enough notice, I’d happily arrange a steakhouse tour down here for a gathering. There are so many great local steakhouses here, I don’t know how the chain steakhouses stay in business.
And if the mods and some other cool people were to come down to scout out the area beforehand, I’d gladly grill up some Omaha steaks that would NOT have been frozen beforehand.
I would love to meet up and talk and share and laugh. I’m in Phoenix Arizona, Will I be able to Skype in? I will bring my own bunny juice.

On one hand, NJ is about 6 hours from me and hotel/ride time may kill me. On the other hand, I have gone further and spent more for Buffy the Vampire Slayer events. I am so confused! 🙂
