Valentine’s Day has arrived in the streets of Springfield! And this year’s Valentine’s Day theme revolves around Lisa and her true love Fallout Boy Sidekick Milhouse.
As we mentioned in the Valentine’s Day Rundown post, Lisa gets things rolling for the event with her never-ending Valentine writing, including sending one to a boy! Fall Out Boy! So what are we waiting for? Let’s get to tappin’ with the quick walkthrough for the main Valentine’s Day quests…
Fission Impossible Pt. 1
Auto-start
Make Lisa Send a Valentine to Fallout Boy- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Fission Impossible Pt. 2
Auto-start
Reach Level 8 and Build the Van Houten House
Make Milhouse Send a Valentine to Lisa- 8hrs, Earns $275, 70xp
Fission Impossible Pt. 3
Homer starts
Make Lisa Put Herself in Fake Danger- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Make Sidekick Milhouse Rush to Lisa’s Rescue- 4hrs, Earns $175, 45xp
Sidekick Milhouse will be awarded to you after a short amount of dialogue between Milhouse and Kirk. This will start up once Lisa has reached Bart’s treehouse. So be sure to send Lisa on the task first..and then you’ll be awarded Sidekick Milhouse.
Here’s where Ralph’s Return to Sender Questline will start up. We’ll cover that below.

And that completes the Valentines Day questlines! All in all it’s a fun little questline. Of course you can’t have Valentine’s Day with out Ralphie and his Valiumtimes! If you run from start to finish, with out using donuts, it’ll take approximately 3 days to complete!

Hi. I’ve tried storing the tree house and mil houses house but still can’t trigger the quest. I have completed the first two parts and Ralph is onto the second part of his but still no part 3 for Lisa

As someone you might reach if you call for tech support (depending on your carrier), I’d suggest clearing cache and reinstalling the app. If that failed, I’d direct you to contact tech support for the vendor who provides the app.
I’m enjoying this little event too. I like that’s it not that long. I didn’t have the V Day stuff so I have some redesigning to do. I just sort of dumped buildings where I had room. Also a bit donut poor now. This event used up more of my Xmas donuts! Looking forward to March as I’m dying to get the leprechaun with the sweater vest! LOL. I hope they bring him back. I have a few neighbors that have him and I always look for him to get my 6$ – sometimes he’s too hard to find though. Love the new header!
Lisa has no ‘Fake Danger’ task option for me 🙁
Are you to that part in the questline?
Yea I’m on Fission Impossible Pt. 3. It tells me to give Lisa the fake danger task, but she doesn’t have it listed as an option 🙁
Odd. Report it please. Mine popped right up as the task triggered in the game.

While we are all speculating about a superhero themed event, I’ll throw this out. This would be a great opportunity for EA to utilize Krustyland (seriously, sorry KL haters). It would be great to get more super-themed rides & have the (speculated) upcoming heroes have KL tasks. They could even work in a storyline satirizing the recent Disney/Marvel acquisition. Would love to have KL be more than a dumping ground for unwanted prizes etc.
I like the fact fallout Milhouse is part of a vigilante group…..more superheroes on the way?

I’m enjoying this mini event. Valentine’s Day isn’t a special day for me so I am glad it’s not going to be going for over a week. Have already bought the returning buildings and will buy Brandine this weekend 🙂
I’m really happy with the possibilities hinted at with the arrival of Sidekick Milhouse. Very hopeful for an interesting level 50!

I would assume that if you don’t have it it may send you to a different building. Watch where Lisa goes when you send her on the task

Remember to collect your
250 virtual dollars for completing vigilantes or you might not get it because I overheard they’ll add more to “vigilantes” after the update. It’s only a little, but you can use it to save up in the game.

Up to you. I planted some but am just gonna wait until it’s done. One less thing to worry about.
The event doesn’t seem to involve growing roses — too bad — but anything can happen between now and the next event or holiday. I’m going to just let mine grow until it’s done, unless we need baby carrots for Easter again!

Unfortunately no. You have to sell decorations one by one.
I was hoping to see a new character with this Valentines Day update. (Fallout boy is just a skin after all) I personally wanted Mary Spuckler added to the game ♡
As a veteran player, I am content with this year’s Valentine’s quest. It is a fun little event and I don’t have to spend anything in anticipation of events to come. I think that Fall Out Boy will be part of a Level 50 rollout were he will be the free character and Radioactive Man will be the premium character–and we will need man;y donuts to get him.

I was wondering, do you think Shauna will make an appearance? I have enough donuts saved to pick her up (I am a completists when it comes to the characters and she is the only one I’m missing) Stonecutters and V-Day pretty much depleted my donut bank. I have been wanting the Duff Stadium for awhile but afraid to buy it and then have her pop up. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ralph is sending his valentine, but storing the Van Houten house didn’t trigger Sidekick Milhouse. Alas!

As Alissa said, I stored the Van Houten house and then re-placed it. I also had to take an additional step (after Milhouse’s task didn’t trigger) by storing and re-placing Bart’s treehouse. Once Lisa reached it, Milhouse’s dialogue kicked off and I got his Fallout Boy skin.

The only good thing about this was they brought Brandine back, other than that, this was a weak excuse for filler.
I’m a veteran player, and I am thankful it’s NOT a major event. Just to busy right now to just keep tapping. With level 50, and a 3 year anniversary, and Easter looming, I think something major will be coming soon. This is just enough to keep us busy.

He everyone. I am at fission impossible pt. 3 and I sent Lisa to the treehouse but I have not been given the Milhouse skin. In my task bar when I click on the fission impossible icon, Lisa’s task is there and in progress but under her task it list Milhouses task but there is no progress bar and there is no “go to” tab, nothing, it just lists Milhouses task but no way to preform his task. I hard closed, made sure everyone involved is free but nothing is working. Ralph quest line has come up andi started that but still no Milhouses skin. 🙁 What should I do? Thanx and have fun.
Hey everyone. Nevermind. I stored Bart’s treehouse and started over with Lisa and then I got the Milhouse skin. Yay! Thanx for any help you were going to give. I’m curious, though. The vigilante Milhouse skin is in the “vigilante” character group but he is the only one in that group. Any thoughts on what other characters might be in this group? Probably the real fallout boy? Maybe radioactive man? I think I remember an episode where comic Book guy becomes a vigilante (pieman, I think), that could make a cool skin for CBG. Have fun.
Hey everyone, I was thinking about possible superhero quests and possible event storylines but in my last comment I was thinking pieman was comic book guy but I thinking it was actually homer as pieman. One other thing I thought of was including the” Bi-mon-sci-fi-con” in a superhero/comic event cos that always makes me laugh. Anyway, thanx and have fun.

Only via storing him I believe. He’s been moved around so much, with different items, that I think he’s officially a stand alone character. So much like SVT or Rich Texan you have to actually tap on him to store him…no building associated. Sorry 🙁
Maybe they will start to bring superheroes into the game like Radioactive Man. I get the feeling that it may be their next event.
If they introduce fallout boy,they probably introduce radiaoctive man.
It’s a fun little event. I know the veterans are a little upset but I think it was fair to both new and old players. New players get a chance to pick up some characters and decorations (even the old players can buy and redesign a little) and the old players get a cool quest line and Sidekick Milhouse! I’m sure whatever EA is planning for Fall Out Boy will be fun! The only thing I personally was hoping for was Shauna. Not too worried thou, EA is pretty good at bringing characters back for those who missed out.

I think that milhouse posing as fall out boy might be a good way to bring the actual fall out boy (side kick not band) into the game. He might catch wind of some dumb kid masquerading around Springfield sullying his good name and theres only one person that can stop him!
I’m probably being far too optimistic, but all I can think is that the reason for the lack of a proper, full-scale event is that EA are going to surprise us all with a big Radioactive Man themed event very soon.
It’s hard to imagine exactly what the detail and content would be, but there is enough legacy of RM in the show to make it viable.
His secret lair (if he has one?) would be your main freemium event building. The X-Ray van that gives Fallout Boy his powers would be a cool new vehicle addition!
CBG and Wolfcastle are both freemium characters so could be heavily involved in the main quest, and of course we’ve already been given Milhouse’s Fallout Boy costume.
Some kind of campy invasion of Springfield by the Scoutmaster and his scouts could be pretty fun. Undoubtedly his first line of dialogue would have to be “Don’t be afraid to use your nails, boys!”
OK, I’m getting my hopes up too much now lol.

Well they’ve brought in a new costume and are bringing in a new character So those are definitely new things to the table. Plus considering it’s more of a Valentine’s update rather than an event I think what they’ve done is swell. I’m sure if they did a huge event, there would have had new building and all the jazz. Buuuuttt they’ve done so much lately I think it gives them a chance to focus on possibly St. Patrick’s Day and most likely Easter.
…and those of us who weren’t here before appreciate the opportunity to get the older items we’ve been seeing in neighbors’ cities….
Wat if Fall Out Boy is a Gil deal? It’d have to be something to keep an eye out for, so maybe that’s it.
