Superheroes Calendar Issue 2

Hey there Hoppereenos!

Issue 2 is now out and in full swing. For those of you that have already collected your 18500 Carbon Rods and are now collecting Pie Bombs, here is a Calendar that should help you out.

comicbookguy_thecollector_fight_boss_active_left_image_4

As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER Issue 2 release so you can factor in time to get to the complete unlock of the Event.

Here we go…

Superheroes Calendar Issue 2

The 3 Issues are going to overlap one another depending on where YOU are in the game.

Now for some insight. This Calendar is created by utilizing the date the new Issue launches. If you are behind and still collecting the previous issue items (Carbon Rods), you won’t match up the Calendar. No worries… I was in my game 10 minutes and already had 1500 Pie Bombs. They will be simple to collect if you just spend a lil time in your game and your neighbors daily. This is 55000 divided by 14 days.

BREAKDOWN OF PRIZES

Here are the Prizes you can win for Issue 2 and the amount of Pie Bombs you will need to unlock them.

SUPER BONUSSuper Bonus 3 Mystery Boxes

Don’t stop collecting Pie Bombs once you hit 55000, because as in the last round you WILL have that extra chance at the 3 Donut Mystery Boxes.

For every Additional 4000 Pie Bombs you collect, you will get the chance at tapping on one of 3 Mystery Boxes with 1, 2, or 3 Donuts inside. Super Bonus

If you miss your chance the first time or even second, you can retry for $150,000. So make sure you have some cash set aside if you want to buy your donuts.

Super Bonus 3 donuts

FYI, there is a shortcut I use for these and the Level Up Bonus boxes you can try in your games. I seem to get 3 donuts pretty much every time on the first box with it. Just press and hold down on the box on the far right. Do not let go, keep pressing down. Watch the lights. They will cycle through around, back and forth, and flashing. Once they cycle all the way through one time, let go. (Usually as the lights are cycling to meet up at the top.) It is how I have usually avoided paying any extra cash for my 3 Donuts. As you can see in the pic right above, it worked for me.

There you have it. An Issue 2 Calendar taking you to Issue 3. Again, do not worry… you CAN keep collecting the Issue Currency until you reach the next goal. So continue collecting Carbon Rods until you hit 18500 and it will switch over for you.

What do you think of the new Issue 2 so far? How fast is your Collection of Pie Bombs going? How many do you have? Looking forward to a specific prize? Let us know.

  1. Since the start of Issue 2, I no longer get Event Currency (Pies) when tapping criminals in neighbours towns. This was never a problem for me during Issue 1. Thought it may be to do with having to wait 24 hours for Friend Actions to reset but it’s been way longer than that now. Any thoughts?
    Thanks, as always.

    • When you go to neighbors, do Criminals say 3/3 or 0/3?

    • Same happening here but I don’t see the problem…

When we try to reach the socialbutterfly visiting all friends
The report criminals stops returning currency (about 30th visit)

in other side report crimes still returns! I think it is great, others updates forces us to find some building to pay more than others – not this time!

      It is awesome!

      Good vigilante times 4 u!

  2. Help!
I’m already in the second update and I noticed that I am not getting any pies whenever I tap on my neighbors’ criminals. I just get 1 pie for each crime I report. These criminals are not wearing Afro wigs even if I am already in the second update. 🙁

  3. Craig (ibuylow2014)

La, la, la, la – sucks sitting here at 99 sprinkles when I am in the market for a Plopper.

  4. Been tapping all day and will hit 8,000 by the time I literally drop! No extra help except for Batman Burns. bet I don’t tap this much tomorrow.
one neighbor must have been tapping evey second and has magical fingers because they are right at 59,000 pies😳

  5. Spotlights don’t go on in issue 2? I haven’t seen any friend visits since I am past most on my list

  6. Homer, the pig and fallout boy all have an 8 hour task that gives them pie.

  7. I’m on just a bit over 7000 atm. Hoping by the end of the day I’ll reach at least 10k then be able to get the bank when I wake up.

  8. 16 hours of play the first day of issue two, and I didn’t quite hit 8,000 pies, but wasn’t far off… even so, I should be able to get the bank tomorrow and the collector on Thursday, then there’ll be new things to aim for.

  9. So I was able to get The Collector and did his first mission. When his “menu” is pulled up there is a quest for “Lament”, but it’s locked. Any insight on when this will be unlocked?

    • As the questline progresses

      • Thank you. This is such a great page y’all have! Thank you for all your hard work!

      • Does it have to do with Bartman? ‘Cause i’ve done every quest and this “lament” is still locked. I have no more quests for the Collector.

      • Nope. It didn’t even unlocked the crafting. I’ve search about this in the web and it seems that other people are getting the same problem, and still don’t know how to fix it… I guess i’ll have to wait

        • Only thing I can suggest is try to “trigger it”. Store Android Dungeon and with it Comic Book Guy. It will pull him out of the game. Once in storage, go out of your game and restart your device. Once back in, replace Comic Book Guy and put the Collectors skin back on him. See if anything pops up. (Also make sure the other Characters in quest line are free). Krusty and him have dialog before that triggers it.

      • Yeah, no… stil didn’t work. I’ve tried something similar a few hours ago, without the restarting the iphone…. Now i restarted and actually thought it was going to fi it…. but it didn’t… :/ i hope they solve this quick… but thanks for the help!

    • U have the collector already???!!!

  10. I am actually earning more then double the suggested Pie Bombs daily, so this Tapper will reach his goals within a week (or less) with minimal effort (you do need to visit Neighbors daily, as Neighbors need to visit your Springfield, too).

I’ve said enough times that you need to upgrade your Superior HQ Building (do not pass up the opportunity to learn more Pie Bombs and increase your Heroes ability to fight Felons).

All Tappers should read these articles and apply all suggested methods to improve their game experience) 🙂

  11. What I would like to see added to this update, and Im sure its far too late to suggest it:
    * One of the cops has a chase criminals task already, so this could be used.
    * Rex Banner could have a job chasing criminals, or a pie earning task.
    * Pie earning from the Pumpkin building!

  12. Is it just me or does it seem to take longer to collect pie bombs than it did rods? Or am I just impatient? Lol.

    • Pssssh…just as simple. I am getting tons. Lol.

    • I havent notice any change in frequency from rod criminals to pie criminals. Only thing that has changed is the number of pies you collect is now greater than with the rods. So, yes we have to collect more pie bombs overall, we also get more per tap and longer to collect them so it all evens out in the long run.

    • I’ve been getting plenty, and should be over halfway to getting the bank before I go to bed tonight. In fact, I came to this site to comment on how I liked that event currency was so easy to get! However, I do think the Arbitrarium is dropping slightly less frequently. But that could just be my game today. I’m loving this event…lots of great stuff that seems pretty easy to get (although I did see Alissa mention there’s crafting to be done down the line, so that might be harder). Seems to me EA really considered what players liked and didn’t like about previous events, and worked really hard to give us exactly what we wanted. And Spiderpig!

    • I’ve colected 5000+ pie bombs so far today, and I still have roughly 6 more hours to collect before bed time. Snap.

    • So it is definitely my impatience lol. Before going to bed I was at 7000+ pie bombs. Maybe its because the prizes cost more making it seem like it will take forever. But I should have the bank when I wake!

  13. Love the calendar! I have a couple days in this issue where I won’t be able to play much/at all so it’s great to see how many pies I should try & collect before then to avoid falling behind. Thank you!!

  14. I’m still getting nothing but cash for criminals in neighbor towns, and I bought the membership. We are not amused.

  15. Question: Did the carbon rods you had at the start of event 2 turn into pies, or did the total get reset to zero, thereby losing whatever carbon rods you had?

  16. My Arbitrarium is turning into Unobtanium. I was getting them at a pretty good clip up until yesterday, then they really started to slow down. And now today, despite playing every 2 hours or so, I literally have gotten zero in the last 6-7 hours. I’m on Level 11 with 21 collected, and not one in the last 50-60 criminals squished.

Is this happening to anyone else?

    • Went back into my game, squished two criminals with one Hand of Justice, and got one arbitrarium. I guess it hasn’t disappeared entirely, I just had to complain about it publicly…

    • I am still getting them random as before. Just got about 12 last Criminal clear out.

      • I’ve been getting them decently since I posted this, but not nearly at the rate I was getting them the first few days. I probably averaged one arbitrarium every 4-5 criminals tapped, and the past couple days it’s been about one for every 7-8 criminals.

    • TheEl1TeGamer

I got the Unobtainium joke. Avatar, right? **** We need more people like you on TSTO.

  17. Hey Guys, i got a question! Is there a place/site where you can download the sound effects when u hit a thief, those superhero slam sounds with the famous ‘pang’ text?? Sorry for my bad english :d

  18. 12 hours in and I’ve got 6000 pies. Even so it’s still reassuring to have the calendar, thank you Bunny for your work in putting it together

  19. Lost all my springfield with the second issue update. Any advise or help. Is a pain in the butt taking everything out again.

  20. Hey guys there is a 20% off iTunes digital codes on eBay store $100 for $80 and $50 for $40 yay free sprinkles

  21. I’m not even half way to clown face. I can only play twice daily so this update is getting annoying.

  22. I should be on 5000 ish pies by the land of nod time so hoping to get the bank in 3 days then it’s just collect collect collect I suppose. Surprised their’s no quest line to get things going just keep collecting until you get the bank. Strange!

  23. Hey so I was doing a bit of my own math after noticing that in my town there was no way the criminals max out at 30.. It seems that the number in my town after the night was actually 60.. Is there any insight to this?

  24. My 4x4hours 100% freemium schedule to unlock Dr. Colossus before issue 3 unfolds:
    Every 4 hours (at wake up/noonish/5 pm/evening):
    – Whack 4×12 criminals = 720 pies,
    – Clear 3 radioactive buildings from 1 visiting friend = 12 pies,
    – “Fighting Crime” HQ task = 125 pies (or more).
    – Liberate felon, when available.
    – Fight felons (Homer + Fallout Boy) = 125 pies on average (1 felon, worth 250 pies, gets liberated every 8 hours)
    Total = 982 pies
    Daily = 3928 pies
    14 days = 54992 pies

Everything else goes towards bonus donuts:
    – Whack more criminals, especially after the night (I find the limit to be 60 at one time rather than 30)
    – Clear more radioactive buildings (depending on friends’ activity)
    – Tap phones in friends’ towns (up to 300 pies every 24hours)
    – Whack criminals in friends’ towns (up to 270 pies every 24hours + 0.5% chance to be rewarded a donut immediately)

    Already 4805 pies as I’m writing this…

    • I can’t even dare to touch yours calculated hardcore thinking!

Congrats you are a addicted tsto!

From the first part of the update i could reach 4 times the 3donuts bonus
but I don’t know, don’t make time for make such calculations…

      Happy vigilante times 4 you!

      TheAlvinos

  25. Hey everyone, I know it’s a bit of a spoiler but I saw someone else mention it a couple days ago and you wouldn’t say much about it. Now that it’s issue two I was hoping you could say more about the zenith city buildings and something about crafting them out of androids dungeon. I was hoping at least to know if it’s something that will require donuts or if we can win those buildings. I just want to know what we have to look forward to. Thanx and have fun.

  26. Does the bank do anything other than Kristy robbing it?

  27. I think I might have missed out on a bunch of Pie Bombs. I started my game this morning, and Krusty was busy in Krustyland, so Issue 2 didn’t start right away. I cleared all the burglars and got a bunch of carbon rods, thinking I could get the 3000 for the bonus round, that didn’t happen. Then I went to Krustyland and finished Krusty’s task and issue 2 started. I think I should have finished Krustys task first, started issue 2 and then cleared the burglars.

  28. I always look for your calendars to see how I’m doing in regards to getting all the prizes (crazy how obsessed one can be with this game lol!) Thank you for all the time and effort you put into these!

  29. Heya. Thanks for the calendar ^_^ Is Dr Colossus a npc?

  30. During carbon rods/Issue 1, I managed to reach the Donut Super Bonus twice. Both times, I first tapped the right-side box. And both times, the triple-donut prize was in the left-side box. (But worse, each time, I tapped the middle box as my 2nd choice (for $150,000) and then finally the left box (for another $150,000) before hitting the 3 donuts… Sigh… 😉
So, $600,000 for 6 donuts. I’ll have to remember your tip when I “pie up” at the end of Issue 2, and see if it makes a difference… fingers crossed.

    • That happened to me 3 times too, but didn’t have enough cash so had to settle for 2 donuts. The fourth time I got 1 donut I next went for the left hand one instead of the middle, hey presto 3 donuts. I think in future, if the right hand one only gives 1 donut, I’m going for the left hand one next!
