Superhero Prize Guide: Issue 4, Prize 3 …Radioactive Man

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Superhero Event is upon us and Springfield has been invaded with Superheros, creeping Criminals & a whole new Comic Book look!  In the final issue of the Superhero Event, it seems as though the good guys have won!  That is until Fallout Boy decides to build a statue in tribute to Radioactive Man…a statue that appears to be evil!

In the ultimate Boss Fight during Issue 4 you’ll have to fight the statue several times in order to unlock 3 all new prizes!  Each with each defeat you’ll get a little bit closer to the ultimate goal…Radioactive Man!

The final prize awarded after five statue defeats is the man himself….Radioactive Man! Let’s take a closer look at this true Superhero and just what happens when you unlock him in your Springfield…

WARNING Mild Dialogue Spoilers Below…

Once you’ve defeated the Statue all five times you’ll first see the final defeat video in your game.  In case you missed it…

After the video plays you’ll automatically be awarded Radioactive Man and you’ll see this message popup:

radioactive2

Once you’ve unlocked Radioactive Man some Dialogue will popup between him and Fallout Boy, with an explanation as to what happened….

Fallout Boy: Radioactive Man?! Alive?! But how?!  You died!
Radioactive Man: I was never dead, Fallout Boy.  When I awoke I was encased in a lead monument.
Fallout Boy: But the monument… your statue was attacking the town!
Radioactive Man: That was me waking from my slumber, trying to escape the lead coffin.
Dr. Crab: And you should have died in that tomb, but Fallout Boy and Sky Finder poked holes in my evil plans.
Radioactive Man: Dr. Vladmir Krabokov?! You were behind all of this?!
Dr. Crab: Please, if we’re going to get through this explanation, call me Dr. Crab.  Now I bid you adieu!  But know this:  I will return with another plan more even more evil and convoluted than this one!  But when good closes a door, evil opens a window.  I will return another day with a plan nastier than my last!
Narrator: Once again, good triumphs over crustaceans!   Thanks to… YOU!

At this point you’ll see Radioactive Man’s character unlock…

Radioactive3

And he’s part of the Superheroes Character Set:

  1. What about beach house ?

  2. Hello Addicts! Thank you for all the hard work! Màn i loved this event even though i didnt get all the prizes(missed Death Mountain and The Collider) but did get all the final issue prizes.

  3. Hello super heroes, I’m sure everybody’s exhausted from the event, but I can speak for myself when I say that this was the best event that I ever that I’ve played so far. I’ve only been playing for a about a year, but it’s the best and I give it 5 stars I love the way at the end it does give us a sense of hope that this will continue on it does have a little foreshadow of I’ll be back kind of thing maybe this is something they will continue on and that would be awesome because there’s a lot of heroes and heroines that they could have put into the game felt like police woman Marge and fat tony… Hermon is always stabbing that bag and clobber girl and so on…. really there’s a lot. But it really was a great event I had a great time it wasn’t cheesy unlike some stupid little Valentine’s day event sprinkled in there. just made it one big event and that makes you think it will continue on, and that would be awesome if they continued on with comic book basically what they did. It would have been really cool at the end if Radioactive Man got up and walked around like Godzilla and we attacked it instead of just sitting there and its monument but overall 5 stars it was awesome I had a blast at the very end it gave us six days to get Radioactive Man it only took me two and a half days I’m glad it helped a lot of people to get the whole six days. Because of people working people have other things going on so they have time to do it but we should have been able to get donuts in those extra days I’m disappointed about that but overall awesome and looks like something that will continue on. And again I know I’m rambling I’m a Rambler but to fin this up it is a great event loved it, I hope that EA knows that people really enjoyed this and I do want to give a shout out to the Tsto team the guys and girls over there you did an amazing job with this because I know you have your own stuff, going to school you have boyfriends and girlfriends, and family, and other things. Your daily life is going on every minute, and that you took the time to answer all of our questions the bad and the good questions and you took the time to really help us do this and that and I think you did a wonderful wonderful job you should all gI’ve yourself a pat on the back, or a Trophy But I speak for myself and I’m Sure the others when I say I appreciate all the help that you did for me I think it was working maybe Alissa but I asked about Spider pig and I’m very glad that you convinced me to pick him up one of the best purchases I made, since I’m a freemium player and I hold on to my donuts and I’m glad I picked him up. So many questions in point you guys did a magnificent job and again thank you very much for everything you guy’s / gal’s did over there hopefully this continues on sometime down the road give us a little bit of breathing room so we can go on with our regular quest but In conclusion great event hopefully EA is listing I can see it coming back in the future which would be really cool. And you guy’s and gal’s, Thanks for everything.

  4. Got Radioactive Man on Thursday and the game began crashing on Friday. I can’t even log in. Get to the TTC screen, tap end get thrown out. Contated EA, was on hold for 2 1/2 hours, spoke to three different people who only work with X Box games and finally got an email with the “So sorry for the issues, we’ll fix you up soon!” song and dance. Which basicall means, “Sucks to be you! Wait for the next update to fix it and quit bugging us” Do I sound bitter? I sure hope not…..

  5. Found a fun little bug today – imploded my level 23 freemium game and the wrecked brown house disappeared. I’m on the phone with EA now and they’ve sent the problem up to figure out why since it’s showing in my inventory for them. Not for me.

Logged into the game on a different device to see if that helped, and it didn’t. For giggles, I logged into my main game and manually stored one of my wrecked brown houses. It disappeared completely as well. So, don’t store your wrecked brown house.

    • Similar thing happened to me at the beginning of the event. After radioactive man crashed into the brown house I clicked it to see if it was a skin for the brown house. It was – but after I scrolled through the other skin for the house (I.e., Christmas skin), the wrecked skin was gone. I just ended up buying one to replace it. Wierd glitch for sure.

      • The super awesome EA help desk guy and I figured out there’s a little bug where they only show up on the main screen and you have to scroll to the end. They aren’t under any tabs, at least not for my game. Hopefully they’ll fix it sooner than later, though I did enjoy our 30 minute chat while we tried to figure out why he could see it and I couldn’t. So now you’ll have two since you bought a replacement.

    • Mine are gone from my inventory too! Please let me know when you find out what happened!

      • If your game is like mine, they won’t be under the buildings or decorations tab, but if you scroll all the way on your main screen they should show up. Quirky little bug. If they don’t, have the help desk call you to sort it out.

    • Did you check through the items in the inventories without choosing any categories? They are not parked into any categories but dumped at the end of your general items. Just scroll down.

  6. This event was the best, I got everything, But I do wish I could store the Radioactive Man statue, it jus looks out of place in my store.

  7. Loved the quest, enjoying the prizes but as a general rule I will store all items that do not earn me cash and take up valuable real estate so the RM statue must go to storage.

  8. Best event ever! I liked the pacing of chapters.

For those of you wanting to store the monument, were you aware that the same superheroes who had a visual presence use it with a 10 hour task to practice fighting evil? It may be somewhat unsightly but it’s still fun to relive the epic battle against it!

  9. Who or what is Super Colider??
I have a greyed out mission for The Collider called Yo Dawg … it says requires Super Colider.

  10. It seemed to be hinting there would be another super hero event sometime in the future. I hope so since I really enjoyed this one. I won every item and plan to display them all. I put the skull mountain near the Halloween section of my town since it fits best there. My favorite item was Spider Pig though. I’m so glad I bought him.

  11. Best event ever! Loved it and a little sad to see it go. I miss tapping on the criminals. So fun and a great way to earn extra characters. But question: when you finish with Radioactive Man’s statue, you can scroll through which version of it you want to show in your town, but I saw a version in a neighbors town that had no statue at all while that’s not an option for mine. Any idea where they got that? Just curious.

    • not sure without seeing it. could be a modded game…

      • Hmm. I’ll try to get a screen grab next time. Eh, not that important, just nosy. Otherwise the event was awesome and I’m happy with what I have. Also hapoy that Radioactive Man relaxes in a suit. Don’t really want another dude in a speedo by the beach. Haahaha.

    • I think the “no statue” thing is a glitch, it’s happened to me in my town, usually after rearranging my towns layout. It never stays gone, a trip to KL fixes it for me.

      • That makes sense since. Plus I’ve seen a couple of neighbors statues glitching in a different way. The statues will show the first picture of it when it’s brand new in your town but on top of that will be the animation of it moving if there’s heroes attacking.

      • Yeah, I had this happen to me when I was moving it around. Left me with an empty construction site and a few moments of panic. The statue reappeared when I came back to SF after visiting neighbors. Definitely a glitch.

  12. I agree with many that this was a favorite event. The pace was more reasonable without the stress of total loss catching up if you missed a beat.
You had to pay attention and work for it, but in a fun way that a game should be. It was enjoyable to relax the last home stretch and enjoy the great animations and a logical conclusion. The amount of free donuts available was greatly appreciated. That relieves the feeling that the game is a blood sucking journey… Challenge without stress, an unexpected relaxed conclusion with extra sprinkles on top made this my favorite time well spent.
    EA – Well done!

  13. Does anyone else wish that after the event comes to a close, EA should then offer the NPC’s permanent residency in our towns? I already miss my criminal in the clown’s afro wig 🙁
Characters from other events would’ve made good ‘mascots’ too. Oh well, one can dream…

  14. Quick question- is he only in a suit when he emerges from Kane Manor after Relaxing? I haven’t seen him look like that. And a quick shout out to EA- thanks for making only one of his tasks visible.

  15. I nuked my town after the event was over and I no longer have my “wrecked brown houses”. Anyone else have issues with these? What should I do?

    • Remember they’re not buildings. Just Decorations. Did you check ALL the 15+ tabs in Inventory?

      • They weren’t (as of yesterday) showing up under any of the tabs. The super awesome EA help desk guy and I figured out there’s a little bug where they only show up on the main screen and you have to scroll to the end. Hopefully they’ll fix it sooner than later, though I did enjoy our 30 minute chat while we tried to figure out why he could see it and I couldn’t. Ha!

    • They are not categorised but is in the inventory. Just click the arrow and scroll to the end.

  16. Matthew Szekeresh

Love the sight. It’s a super helpful resource. Question that may be off topic, not sure. At some point over the last week I started getting exclamation point marked, tasks that have one character at a time complete one of their normal tasks. As if it was part of a quest line but with no dialogue in between. It started during the superhero event and I am level 50 if that is a factor. Have other people been experiencing this? Is it part of a quest line for players at this level? It seems like if anyone knows what this is, it would be someone on this site.😃

  17. Curses! I should have known the nefarious Dr. Vladmir Krabokov was behind this. His filthy claw prints were all over it from the start… If only I had trusted my instincts, Radioactive Man needn’t have died and then needn’t have been resurrected.

  18. Are we sure it’s over collider has a task yo dawg 16 hours requires super collider whatever that is

    • Unless another sneaky update hits… that is what we see so far. It still goes til the 31st so still time for surprises.

    • The super collider is just a building from the first Treehouse of Horror event and has been “pointlessly accelerating particles” in my town for over 2 years.
The sign on its lawn calls it the Springfield Subatomic Supercollider. It did surprise me when the Collider walked in there.

  19. I’m hopin that since some of the heros have a train for future battles task- that the next comic book adventures will include the Dependables!!! Pretty much gonna save my free event sprinkles for just that!!! Best.Event.Ever!! Well actually really diggin the Star Trek update over at FGTQFS too!!

  20. I would have liked to see The Fossil Fuel Four be playable characters. They seemed cool.

  21. My Radioactive Man has not unlocked, fallout boy finished his knockout punch task, I was shown the video and it has the check next to it if I click on the statue, but it won’t show the event as finished and unlock RM. Is there any word about this bug going around? My Kane Manor was also delayed in unlocking, wasn’t available until after the video clip. I’ve force closed the app, cleared cache and data, no go… uninstalled and reinstalled, still no go… even tried different devices. any ideas?

  22. The end was a little anti-climatic. After three phases of working to keep on pace to catch all the criminals and get the prizes, it just seems the last phase was a little short (I think it took me about 2 days to get to Radioactive Man). There probably could have been a few more steps with shorter task times. Radioactive Boy took up most of the time while the other “superheroes” kind of were relegated to the sidelines. Maybe if they were also trying to do some “crime fighting” along side the 2 twelve hour task and the eight hour tasks. They could have even been trying some of stupid tasks on the various character lists like it was really helping, it is the Simpsons after all.

  23. What’s the deal with Twitter accounts like ***** selling one million donuts for $10? Is it legit? Is it legal? Seems shady…

    • If it sounds too good to be true it usually is. The only legal way to get donuts in your game is to purchase them directly through the game. Anyone who tries to tell you they can get them for you is cheating.

  24. If I’m not mistaken, the bartman from this event is the Bartman in the NES Games”Bartman meets radioactive man” nice how ea is referencing older games 😉

  25. I just noticed, my brokman 4hr task in the stonecutters outfit isn’t earning at a premium rate while all other tasks do. Also all of Moe’s tasks in his stonecutters earns normally, while everyone else earns premium. This is all I’ve noticed so far. Anyone else? I know this isn’t place to exactly ask but figure someone would know what’s up

    • P.s. best event ever! Think they hinted at the end, crime could return. Maybe this time again next year get another superhero event?

      • Oh I really liked the quest but overall I started issue 1 a little late and didn’t get the final prize on issue 3. And I was two handcuffs from getting the Times, which I desperately wanted. I wish ea would have kept those items available into issue four, which I finished in 2 days.

    • Depends on who was impacted when Stonecutters items were re-released as premiums as well as buildings tasks are done in.

    • Brockman’ Stonecutter skin was freemium and his 4-hour Stonecutters task isn’t in a premium building, so there’s nothing that would cause him to earn premium rates. For a Stonecutter to earn a premium rate, he would either need to be a premium character/skin or be doing the task in a premium building (like the lodge).

  26. Sad to see this event come to an end… It was a great event full of great stories and prizes! Till the next event… Up and ATOM!

  27. This was a great event, so many new buildings and characters in Springfield its gonna be hard to keep track of all of them. I’m hoping for some down time now, although I’m guessing an Easter mini update will come out sooner or later.

  28. Definitely in My Top Three Favorites!!!

  29. Next Superhero event…Invasion of the Crab-bots…
One last comment, ha, in case someone from EA ever reads this…Looking forward to the sequel to this event, and I’m hoping that they won’t be scared to use some characters from the Radioactive man comics…Hell, It would be awesome to have the entire Superior Squadron. I’d love some of the cool heroes like Bloody Heart (aka Brave Heart or Purple Heart, ha), Plasmo, Lure Lass (it would be nice to have a female superhero/villain or two), Bug Boy, Purple Haze, Black Angus, etc. And don’t forget his villains, like Dr. Crab (a must after the end of this event, imho), Larceny Lass, General Motor, Hypnotic Head, Magmo, Brain-O The Magnificent, The Communist Block, and the rest of The Fossil Fuel Four. As for skins, I will buy Jessica Lovejoy if they give her her Bad Girl costume. Same for Dr. Nick as Doctor Strange Doctor, ha. If they want to get a little crazy for Halloween, they could do Cthulu from Cthulu Tales, heh. Plus there are a ton of obscure characters from comics from Comic Book Guy’s store, like Rhino Girl, The Z-Men, and She-Girl, ha. Okay, enough of me rambling, sorry for the long post, I guess you can tell I really enjoyed this event.

    Radioactive Ape!

  30. I enjoyed this event like crazy! It was a lot of fun fighting the statue, and even better when my hopes of getting Radioactive Man were confirmed! I like the skins that came with the statue when you completed the event.

    😀
