-Earns a ton of Real Estate Points when purchased
-One of the rare items from Springfield Heights to earn money/xp
-Is always animated (the gold at the top “sparkles”)

Cons:
-No questline associated with it
-No character tasks there
-Pricey for what it is/what it does

Final Thought:
Premium:
This is another one I’m not a fan of.  First of all, I don’t like how it looks.  Just feels off to me for Springfield Heights.  Looks more creepy than fancy.  Yes, it earns income but at this point I’d rather it pay our coffee or smart devices.  It’s just another mansion decoration (even though it pays out) it just sits there.  Earns Real Estate points for buying, but again you can earn the same for free from any of the upgradeable buildings.  Heck just buy 10 Deluxe Condos for Furniture and you’ll have more Real Estate points, and no donuts spent.
Of course that being said..if you’re a premium player and you like it, you’ve got the donuts to spend.  You’ve got to go for what you like.  But there’s very little practical side to this one.

Freemium:
Stay away from it.  Stay far, far away.  I know it’s tempting because it’s shiny and it’s new, but when those donuts are hard to come by…this just isn’t the kind of item you want to drop them on.  Complete freemium pass in my mind.

Of course in the end it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would/wouldn’t do…and I can tell you I won’t be getting this one.    Just remember this IS limited-time and will leave the stores on July 28th.  So if you’re thinking about getting it, or are on the fence, make sure you make up your mind before July 28th when it’s gone!

  1. Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally wish I read the post before buying it

  2. If you got the Donuts to spend (or waste (lol)? By all means, but I’m finding that Tappers do not need to spend Donuts when crafting offers you enough to Level Up in Springfield Heights 😉

  3. You say it’s a “ton of Real Estate Points” but it isn’t really.
I know it looks like a big number, indeed it IS a big number, but in Springfield Heights terms, it’s nothing.

  4. How long does this event last?

  5. Fortunately, everyone can see it and the Think Tank in Other Springfield. They are sooo small compared to what is coming, like the dolphin condos. Definitely not worth the sprinkles.

  6. Ugly, I’ll pass on this one, bought the tank cause it looks neat, but have remorse cause it doesn’t do anything, should have waited for the post, sigh.

  7. The words to describe this is an ostentatious display of architecture!

  8. After you spend your pills on the vineyard, what are other options to spend your pills? I maxed out my storage and not sure if i should just sit on them until my next storage upgrade.

  9. Looks like some silly thing from Haboo haha.

  10. I can’t decide if I like this one or not… It’s sort of a love/hate thing. On the one hand, I think it’s really strange and a bit absurd, and perhaps a bit ugly, but on the other hand, I think it is highly originial 🙂 I guess I’d say beautiful ugly… As I got hit by the donuts bug and didn’t have enough in the first place, I’ll pass I think, but I do find it quite a fascinating building.

  11. Why does EA hate the in-game money? I have millions from daily play for over two years and I can’t even buy land in the expansion with it. Springfield Heights new currency is making that scene in Itchy and Scratchy Land less and less funny. “It works just like regular money, but it’s, er…”fun”.
    Bart: Do it, Dad.
Homer: Well, okay, if it’s fun…

I bought the Think Tank because I liked the way it looked. This one? Not so much, so pass for me. Mostly, it’s just too expensive, and I don’t like that strange chandelier thing on top.

    • I’m In the same camp. I liked the Think Tank because it reminds me of the Arboretum (a building I would’ve liked multiples of), so I picked it up. This one looks like an unfinished idea, or a ruin-made-fancy. Not a big fan of this, either.

    Suuuuper ugly, hard pass lol.

  14. Boy – premium buildings sure are expensive in Springfield Heights!

  15. Thanks for getting the Should I Buys on this and the incubator out! I thought I would get one of the two to “commemorate” the arrival of Springfield Heights, and it’s definitely going to be the other one, ha.

I know these are limited time, but I hope they will pop back up in the future for those folks who come to level 30 later on.

  16. I do not like this at all and will not buy it. It’s temping to get the real-estate points quickly but otherwise I do not care for the look of it. Also I’ve been calling it the chandelier mansion, apparently I don’t read well.

  17. I am finally forced to quit the football event as of 330 pm US time when I tried to play. Now it is time for me to digest all your postings! Thanks !

  18. I like the Incubator Think Tank. I bought one. I know it’s not terribly beneficial but I think it’s a nice looking building. This column thing, however…I’m not digging it. Thanks for letting us know that it is also just purely decorative.

  19. One of my neighbors has unlocked the Billionaire Haven which obviously means her Real Estate value exceeds 1 bil. Yesterday I was already a little suspicious when she reached 125 mil. but 1 bil in less than 36 hours? I get a headache if I try to figure the amount of cash necessary to buy the required number of donuts to accomplish that.

    • I’m up to $236M now. There’s one ahead of me at $243M and nobody else quite at $100M yet. I’ve just had the free time to do a lot of tapping to build up the resources, and I’ve been spending and upgrading things. I’ve already maxed out all 10 Deluxe Condos, and I’m starting to work on the Classic Mansions and Valet Parking spots. I can see that it’s definitely starting to slow down based on it taking a bit longer to craft what’s needed for more of these secondary buildings. The condos went by relatively quickly but again, it takes a lot of tapping if you aren’t spending donuts to speed through the building and upgrades.

  20. Sorry for going off topic, I lost 31 donuts after unlocking the theater, I had the donut spend notification on but didn’t receive any if ever i accidentally tapped on spending. Did anyone of you experience this?
