Enjoying the Event so far? Gettting the hang of what to do in the town yet for Act Two? Lots of cool new stuff hitting the games… and more still to come. I know I am excited!!

Before Sandra and BigPhil start yelling at me, better get the Calendar up, right? Bunch of demanding lil brats! (Psshhh you know I love yah!) Well here is your WORST. CALENDAR. EVER! BAH! HUMBUG!! 😉 😛

EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 12/20/15, DAY 2 OF ACT 2
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the Act releases so you can factor in time you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may “appear” to be behind, but as you progress you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. So just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 13 days based off of approximately 2712
Mistletoes a day.
ACT TWO PRIZES
Here’s the rundown of the prizes available during Act 2 that you can win by just playing the game and collecting Mistletoe.

YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) keep on coming. Once you have collected the 35250 Mistletoe needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift.
My Bonus Gift Rounds were 4000 Mistletoe
Once you reach the 4000Mistletoe , the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
There you have it. A Calendar of Mistletoe just for my fav Tot, lee, ryan, and my penpal in Cali. Oh and I suppose the rest of you just might want to peak at it too. It may come in handy or something. 😉

Is anyone else having an issue with the fortress of solitude still showing vandalism after clearing the quest line? Any advice on how to fix it would be great 🙂

Yea im in the same boat i thought it was because i didn’t finish leveling up before completing the quest but I wasn’t done with my shack and it’s clean
Yep, that’s exactly what happened to me.
About a day and a half ahead of the calendar after being behind and shelling out 120 donuts for the last prize on act 1 I’m a bit upset that even though I didn’t change my play style (wasn’t so excited about the buildings and CBG skin) I did a whole lot better with the act 2. This makes me question somethings however I guess I can justify it by saying I didn’t pay as much for the orphans as I did Sherri and Terri.
Has anyone else seen this? I earned festivus cbg but do not have him.
It’s happening to me too earned the required mistletoe today but NO Festivus CBG 😮 how do we solve this 😦
Did you try going to Krustyland or the neighbors screen and back? That often helps sync the game properly…

Are you sure? Remember, it’s a skin, not a character, so it won’t be in your inventory, it will be a skin option when you select CBG.

I can’t get on my game, it says my name but when I tap to continue it tzkes me to a new game, I have logged out and back in but it still starts a new game, any ideas how I can sort it x

Need a place to vent. Here will do. I have a B town that I gift with, and I naughty with it to get more bows, but then I have people coming to my town hiding presents in nearly impossible to find places. Doesn’t really affect me except I have to collect, then go back to B town and drop more. Needless to say, if I have to hunt down the gift you hid I’m going to naughty you or I’m going to ignore it and you lose bows anyway. Find an open or obvious place next time! Sheesh…
Keep in mind that it may not be intentional…sometimes gifts don’t drop where you think they will. I’m very consious of trying to drop presents where they can be easily found, but, sometimes, I end up having to come here to let someone know that it ended up hiding (at least partially) behind something because it didn’t land where I expected.
Have you made sure to have at least one area that’s wide open, either on land or in the water? If not, you can’t reallly blame your neighbors if their gifts sometimes end up obscured….
Go into Town Edit mode and ‘hide’ the buildings (tap the Building’ button on the bottom right so the eye is closed) – and enjoy X-Ray Vision.
Act 2 is going great, I’m at 22k today and the calendar says 18k, so I’m well ahead. My fortress of lonlitude is almost level 3, starting on cletus’ moonshine shack. All I have left to craft is the Efcot center. 🙂
Hi Addicts, Happy Holidays and thank you for this wonderful site! I am having an issue where I get the “Proclamation of Decoration Pt.1” again and I have to Decorate Ned Flanders’ house even if I’ve been playing the winter event for a couple weeks now and the house has been decorated. I also did not get my daily reward bonus in Event currency but in regular Game Currency.
Also, when visiting a friend’s town, i get the instructions on how to drop presents, as I did when the Winter event started.
Seems as if the event reset to the very beginning. Is anyone else having the same issue?
Question: why is everyone still sending people on monorail jobs??? What am I missing?
On another note, I am having a REALLY hard time keeping up with this act & I hardly ever receive bows….. I wonder if I’m doing anything wrong
For me, I have a huge monorail project going on that I’m obsessed with and need many, many more track pieces. Plus if I can get five bonuts, I’m doing it. It’s definitely slower going during the event. I give priority to the event jobs then send whatever characters are free to make tracks.
Each Tuesday, if you go through the ENTIRE cycle of Monorail Track earning tasks, you will get 5 Bonuts. You must do this by the end of the following Monday.
Every week since the Monorail event ended, I’ve been doing this to earn Bonuts.
Yes, you will earn tons of Monorail tracks along the way. This is why I have 250+ Monorail track pieces in Inventory (not even counting the random ones that are scattered all over my town).

If you complete all of the rail yard tasks within the week, you get 5 free donuts. We’re doin’ it for the donuts!!
I should add that some folks are also doing it for the extrail rail pieces, because they’re still building/expanding their monorail.
Thankfully I have been able to complete Act 1 and I’m ahead on Act 2. However, crafting the items I want is a struggle! There’s a surplus on bows and a shortage on ornaments 😭!

I try to do the monorail Bonuts challenges weekly, as well as keeping up with the current. Has anyone else noticed that the characters needed to do tasks on the Christmas projects are the ones that recycle plastic, and plastic is most prevalent this week in making monorail pieces. Thanks for being in the giving spirit EA!
Plastic has been the most sought-after item for my past weeks. I don’t really see any significant change. I’ve met the same 30k monorail target that I normally reach by Tuesday evening, maybe 2hrs later than usual due to slightly limited character availablitiy…
Actually, what’s most prevalent at the rail yard from week to week is unique to each player, depending where they are within the “cycles.” So, you just hit some unlucky timing. But I get where you’re coming from…I, too, always work the rail yard tasks, and there are always conflicts with the event tasks. But, I learned partway through Act 1 that it’s best to prioritize event tasks (except, maybe, Hot Squishee, sometimes). I always used to the rail yard tasks by Saturday morning at the very latest, but this week, because of my limited tapping ability for the past three days, I’m just gonna do my best and know that will certainly be enough to complete it by the deadline.

Am I the only one who only gets baubles and mistletoe from three neighbors towns. Everyday I tap three merry makers in my neighbors and after three towns I only get cash. I barely have merrymakers in my town and am afraid I may not finish act two. I was supper mad after only being 1000 short from completing act one. I really hate this holiday update.
I think EA was extremely cruel about how much they expected people to play to finish Act 1, and I’m very disappointed that they are not allowing us to use all of our characters that fit descriptions for tasks in Act 2. Not happy that they give us a task to send 6 kooks to do something, and only allow us to use 4 of the ones we have in our towns, instead of being able to knock it out in one shot.
The questline is clearly designed to take most of the Act’s time. With 8 jobs needed and even with all possible premium characters only being 7 that’s pretty obvious. But then, the game is called “Tapped Out”, not “Get everything in two days and then have nothing to do for the next 12”.
You’re wrong, and I have to call shenanigans! It seems in the past, EA has rewarded its loyal players by making quests easier, but they are requiring EVERYBODY to play the game nonstop, or not be able to complete the quests. I think they’re playing the role of Christmas Grinch this year, and I’m not happy about it!
well most events have been like this for the last year or so. Ever since they switched to Acts for prizes…
I think EA is intentionally setting up the Act 2 tasks to require more than one shot. In some cases, even if you had every character possible, you still wouldn’t have enough “qualified” ones to knock it out in one shot. Just think of what they’re doing as a variation on the “0/3” type tasks, except using multiple people instead of one.
Which crafted items produce mistletoe? I didn’t know Trees Irregular paid out until I crafted it because in mine it said it paid out cash.

I also didn’t finish act one and I’m pretty salty that I didn’t get Patches and Poor Violet… But I’m not paying 330 donuts for them … Why couldn’t the snowman and Wooly Bully still produce hats? I don’t need their revenue ..
Hello on the extra weekly game. This weeks game starts with crafting the irregular Christmas trees I have already done that it will not let me craft another. So how do I move on. The game is not excepting the one I have already crafted.

Wow! I seem to be a shade over 2 days ahead! I should get Abercrombie and Rich this evening, the petting zoo is fully upgraded, and the Reindeer Wagon will be done tomorrow. I’m less than 100 bows from the Efcot Center (stupid day 1 challenge…). I have this and next week off, so I should have no trouble completing this act. Now if they’d just bring back that clam sign….

I never completed act 1 🙁 I am so disappointed. On act 2 and slightly behind already just hope I can catch up.
So so busy the last 2 weeks before Xmas I can only effectively tap twice per day. (Some days 1) not good…..
I just got the first challenge to craft the slightly irregular trees place. But I already have it and can’t craft another! I tried storing and placing it again, jumping to my friends list & back, all to no avail 🙁

I’ve got the same problem too. Great thing to try and do around christmas is contact EA! Lol
So I’m looking at the calendar, and I earned a little over 2000 mistletoes on Day 1, probably ended up with 2300 in a 24 hr period, well short of the 2712 according to the daily calendar. I was even in my game fairly frequently yesterday, more than I would on a weekday. Multiple times I got the notification that I cleared all of the merrymakers. I hope it’s just because it’s still early in Act 2. I know they tend to start these acts off slowly.
Hey Bunny, did you know they post your calendars on the EA forums like, all the time? They don’t remove the credit/watermark, and they always say where they got it, but it’s still a little weird lol. Why wouldn’t they just direct people to the actual addicts site?…
Lol. Many people I started playing with BEFORE we launched the Addicts Site are there now helping in the forums. Ive been asked to help there to by EA… but declined. My friends ask if it’s OK if they share my info there and that’s fine. Most my stuff, as you see, is all sorts of tagged. 😉
As far as direct link it’s not allowed by EA on the forums. They’ll delete the post and even ban the poster if it’s abused. It’s more to prevent hackers and spammers. Similar to what we don’t what here… random advertising and hack sites.
I like that you guys don’t ban all links, though, like the EA forum does. For example, I and other folks have sometimes posted links to amusing Simpsons-related stuff (like the article on Simpsons tattoos or the ones about when what’s-his-name threatened to not come back for the next season, etc.). I know it might take more moderation effort on your part to make sure that the links aren’t inappropriate, but I think allowing them makes for a richer sharing experience on this site. So, thanks, Addicts, once again, for doing what it takes to make this the Best. TSTO. Site. Ever.!!! 🙂

I’m loving the petting zoo might actually spend my donuts that I’ve saved all year on the add on’s for it (while secretly praying the other half is getting me an iTunes voucher for Xmas so I can buy some more hehe)
Other good thing is that the attractions overlap on this act I’m on the last level of the petting zoo and the burger truck has just started for me!
And as to do with the holly/mistletoe I didn’t even notice too busy trying to find all the merry makers that hide in the SFH tunnel haha

For my neighbour Pguin: dropped you a nice gift that ended up behind the log cabin with the flag by the mountains. Not sure why it dropped there but I don’t want you to miss it. Hope you see this!
If the presents from neighbours end up behind a building go into your town edit mode hide.the first three options for viewing and explore your town you should be able to move the presents to a more ideal clicking.spot

Yeah this gift system is very unbalanced, that’s the only part of this update that needs adjustment. If I give 5 gifts a day. I should get those 5 in return, I’m lucky if I get 1 a day some days go by and nothing and I’m earching my town invisible mode to see if they are placed anywhere obscure too.
I am just saving th currency at the moment until the end but I doubt I will get 1 of each of the unique items. It’s odd as This is the first time since starting that I’ve had crafting trouble.
I guess gifts are only as good as neihbors willing to drop off. I have limited mine down to the active ones, so past events the neighbor visiting wasn’t an issue. Also it’s tough because they are dropping off to 5 different users so it’s easy for others to get left out.
Event is going well that is only portion of it that is really scaled back this time around.
How many neighbors do you have? You have a much better chance of getting presents if you have your full 100 neighbors. If you only have a few, and those neighbors have a lot of neighbors, well, then, you’re not going to get a lot of presents.
I really try to respond in kind to the Neighbor-eeno’s who leave me gifts but some names flash only for an instant instead of scrolling up and the white print on white snow makes it very hard for me to catch sometimes (a lot of times). I’m also trying to help out my nice neighbors a little lower on the Leader board, and still other Neighbor-eeno’s have frequently maxx’ed out for the day. I too try and drop presents in open spaces only to watch them disappear behind a bldg., so definitely neighbors- use that invisible mode!
Fortunately, you don’t have to be able to read those stupid white letters that flash by so quickly, since there’s a place you can see the most recent x number of presents folks have left you (and whether they were Naughty or Nice). If you scroll down on the left-hand icons in the event hub, you’ll see one with Devil Bart and Angel Lisa. Tap on that to see the list! 🙂

Has any one noticed after opening a friends present in act two….that the ‘naughty or nice’ menu pops up quicker…like instantly…..almost as if EA wants you to screw over ur friends…act one ‘no issues’….today…the start of act two…..the menu popped up so quick…..like donut stealing quick….causing me to accidentally hit ‘naughty’ over ‘Nice’…..i guess EA was disappointed over all the nice people during act one……or maybe its just me…….my appologizes to those Individuals…..ill make good on my on unintentional naughtiness……..cant wait to meet maggie!!!!!!
