MAGGIE is FINALLY here!!! EA gave us a little early Christmas present…Maggie Simpson! However, you won’t get her until you finish the upgrade on the Moonshine Shack and complete the Oh Come All Ye Vengeful questline. So it will give you something to look forward too, and incentive to keep on tapping!
Of course in order to get Maggie EA’s rolled out a questline to go with it. So let’s take a look at the Turbo Tappin’ version of Maggie’s initial questline….

Oh and a quick note…if you don’t get Maggie before Act 2 ends don’t worry! You’ll still be able to get her after that (during the next part of the event)..so don’t panic and relax!

So, I got Maggie a couple of days ago and finished the questline for her that’s outlined here. Then I got a task for Marge to walk Maggie, but it’s not on her list anymore since Maggie is in the game now and crawls around. I definitely got that task after Maggie came into the game. The only other task I have pending is completing the upgrades for the Moonshine Shack and that’s in progress. Any thoughts? Not sure if I’m overlooking something or not. Thanks 🙂
Lightbulb came on this morning… I stored Maggie and that enabled Marge to start the Walk Maggie task. I took Maggie out of inventory right after, so I kind of have two Maggies right now 🙂 .
I love Maggie! Thanks to EA for adding her and to the Addicts for covering the Christmas event.

I just got Maggie today and very satisfied with her. I was also wondering where or when can I get the Playdough factory. And will it be a for in game cash of doughnuts.
I believe that the Playdough Factory will appear in Act 3, along with a bunch of other items, some of which are on the current Splash Screen. Craft able, purchase able, freemium, premium. I dunno.
I do know I just Sa Apu had a task in the Convention Center – what convention center? – which I have purchased and am awaiting the 24 build to finish.
But I’m fairly certain Playdough has not yet been released. Then again, I forgot about Apu’s building.
I don’t think you have to finish the Moonshine Shack, because I was in the middle of Stage 2 and just finished the Vengeful Quests. So I might’ve gotten Maggie early or something. Sofar Maggie is my fav ☺

I finished all the vandalizing tasks (“vengeful”), then another round started (“burning wreath”). Only Krusty has triggered. I sent him the same time that Moe cleaned graffiti (“better not cry”) from the fortress. So…..
…..it is still dirty, but the dialogue says it is cleaned. Does this mean it will stay dirty? (I’m holding off on any more cleaning tasks for now….)

I wish the fortress of solitude would stay vandalized. I like that version better!
Mine just might! lol! I agree, it looks good with a splash of color. But I don’t want the other vandalisms, they’re not as nice.
I hope they fix it, too. Mine still has purple goo on it and I’m not fond of purple. The other ones cleaned up just fine.
I’m still purple-gooey. Any resolution to this one? I’ve been keeping an eye out for info, but haven’t seen anything yet, although in fairness, I haven’t been as diligent as I usually am.
I did see a reply from (I believe) Bunny that the answer was in a post re:Maggie’s release, but after reading I think all of them, I’m not seeing it.
Then again, brain no good work lately. 😉

Oh, and I contacted EA about it on Thursday (in case it held up Act 3 starting, which it didn’t), and I was told my problem was fixed and to check my email… which contained a link to the simpsons wiki… Wrong on both counts, EA. 😉
Not fixed for me. My guess is maybe after the event or an even later patch.
My fortress has the same issue. All my other buildings are clean. I am getting more and more frustrated. I’ve read on other sites that this is s bug. I think E.A. may need to fix it.

Same experience. Moonshine shack was not fully upgraded when I got Maggie.
I wasn’t sure which thread to post this since I don’t want to make anyone jealous… But from the looks of things that might just happen (can’t make everyone happy). I strategically did not read this thread until I was ready for it.. And I am ready for it now because at 8:15ish PM on December 25th 2015 I got something that I’ve been waiting for a long time. Do I have to spell it out? M-A-G-G-I-E!!!!!!!!!!! It’s the gift of the Magi but I didn’t give EA anything except a large part of my soul, oh well.
Folks no need to rush, everything in it’s own time and pace. I do feel like I’ve been hovering over this game a little more than usual so take that for what it is. Some folks just have less of a life than others.

Thanks for ruining the surprise. I just logged on to see what was up as of late and you tell me Maggie is coming once I upgrade the moonshine shack. GEEZ. thanks. Would have been a great feeling to be surprised especially since we have all been so patient for her to enter the game. You usually give a spoiler WARNING. And to all of you who are going to say oh shut up or nobody forced me to visit this site can go get a clue. I’m very disappointed that you would take the fun out of what was clearly supposed to be a Xmas surprise. They were giving us hints in the artwork that Maggie was possibly coming. If it was supposed to be known EA would have just offered her in th store. You guys have really let me down and I have never been anything but satisfied and loving of this tsto site. It is better than tsto topix or friends, and still is, why did you have to tell us about Maggie without a spoiler warning is all I’m saying.

Second…Maggie hit 2 days ago. Everyone’s at different points in the game. Some got her right away others got her yesterday, some today and more will get her as the week goes on. It’s not a spoiler if it’s in the game. It’s the same as me telling you what’s in a level once it hits…no different. Sorry you’re upset but honestly it’s a bit unwarranted. If you come here for info that’s what we give you. Info that’s in the game once it hits. We don’t post what’s upcoming and not in the game. But if it’s in the game we discuss it. If you don’t like it you probably shouldnt go on fan/help sites.

Like SS said, don’t worry about unhappy/angry/jerky people, they are everywhere and their miserable lives are only getting worse, so I don’t expect things to improve. Guess what we (to include my my co-workers) got on Christmas Eve!? I work for a major retailer and some lovely person took a #2 in the fitting room. They covered it with brand clothing. I think some people have no soul. So, take that grumbly post in stride, there’s a bad apple in every bunch and be glad you weren’t working retail this holiday season.

One positive is he is a huge Oregon ducks fan. Go ducks!! But he is way too hard on the crew here at addicts. The world is full of negativity, I don’t go to their site ever anymore because I don’t want MORE of that in my life. With the exception of a few crazies, it’s a pretty consistently positive site.

It was a bit of a spoiler, just saying. I’m about a day away from that quest line, and have been playing frequently. That’s ok though because you guys do a great job on this site overall. I can’t wait for Maggie now!
The alternative is I don’t post walkthrough or any content about playing the game. The point of this site is we rush ahead in the game and tell you what to expect as your playing….
I get that, and appreciate all you guys do. But for something as massive as Maggie entering the game, a spoiler alert might’ve been appropriate. We all knew she was coming, but to give us the walk through without a spoiler alert is like posting the entire script and storyline of Star Wars before the majority has seen it. We all knew Star Wars was coming, as we did Maggie, just wasn’t expecting the walk through without a spoiler alert. It’s ok though, it won’t keep me up at night. Keep up the good work!
So far 2 people have complained. And honestly all it’s doing is aggravating me. I spent a TON of time getting as much info out for everyone before Christmas so people wouldn’t be flying blind while we took time with our families. All comments like this do is aggravate me and make me think in the future I’ll worry more about spending time with my family than getting informative posts out.
Hell i even moderated comments yesterday, despite needing the day off, because you guys asked me too. Again just makes me think in the future I won’t worry so much about it. ..
Again it’s not a spoiler if it’s in the game. And if you read posts on this site you would see the post saying Maggie was in the game. And I took great steps in that post to keep certain surprises for you guys to still discover on your own. So stop with it already…if you don’t want to know what’s actually in the game than you shouldn’t be on sites like this.

Maybe I was the other person? I hope not. But sorry if you took that bad. Like I said later, all that work is part of the deal, important, and appreciated. This kind of thing, with Maggie, isn’t an easy thing to handle. Like you and others often say, you set up something perfectly and you’ll hear an issue, then fix that issue…and another issue will “surface”. Kabris said it’s like Star Wars……I know NOTHING about the new Star Wars movie except the returning characters because I have diligently worked to not know anything about it until I can see it in the theater-post retail holiday season. Making that comparison is ridiculous because that person came to THIS site. I’m not going to go to a Star Wars website and then get angry at the website that I learned about the movie.

Yes, the quest walkthroughs are like the script of a movie, but this is true for every quest line.
If you don’t want the ending revealed why read the script?
And when they say no spoilers, they don’t post stuff that is in the files but not live in the game. Other sites do share those spoilers and it often leads to confusion when something doesn’t go live when anticipated.
They’ve never said they won’t post the prize at the end of a questline. To the contrary, they routinely do post the end prize.
The patterns are pretty easy to see.

You yourself said that EA was hinting at it with the artwork so you could not have been all that surprised to read that Maggie was coming. Especially with the new opening screen- the finger is pointing at her! Other sites and the comments on here have been speculating that Maggie is coming for weeks now. I was excited to read that all the speculation was true! I can’t wait to get Maggie! 🙂

This is the risk when visiting any site. The good is “log in today or you’ll miss out on donuts” and the bad is “Maggie is being released early. No, you won’t miss out if you don’t get her early”. But, they come together. At least, on this site, these are both things that are actually in the game, that are actually attainable. On other sites you’ll hear stuff that is from Act 3…. Stuff that is not accessible at all!
But, if you want to play with all surprises intact, then, yes, you might need to avoid all of these sites. Personally, missing out (on items or glitch warnings or strategies) can sometimes be worse than a small spoiler. I’d love to avoid them, too, but I can also “ignore” (“pretend I didn’t hear it; lalalalalalalala!” 🙉).
It was still great when I got Maggie. There’s more to it than the title of the article, so you can still look forward to something. Plus, she’s so cute and small that I’m sure you’ll realize it wasn’t so big of a deal once you actually get her. *snuggles Maggie*
LOL this made me laugh. How could you possibly be shocked they released Maggie? The act 3 trophy looks like her, the title screen has her in it along with other babies/baby things, and she’s in the freakin game icon!
Also she wasn’t “clearly” a Christmas present, you just happened to unlock her on Christmas. Some people haven’t unlocked her yet and some unlocked her earlier.
And finally who cares about a spoiler for a phone game… Ya if they spoiled the finale of your favourite show get mad, but seriously it’s just a game who gives.

That’s what the Addicts provide. Free to us. Without getting paid. While spending their own money for donuts to stay ahead of the curve and verify as much info from the files as possible. Is there a point in upgradeing the scuishy stand after level 20
IMHO, I don’t think so. I’m like at 23 or so, and the added radius isn’t really all that beneficial. But I’m still kinda chugging away at it since the kids don’t really have a lot to do in this event.
At least not yet.
I just noticed that EA broght back the Act 1 craftable items and you can have more than one Ski Chalet which is great since it produces money and XP. Such a nice Xmas gift 🙂

Saw that on the new splash screen after noticing that one of the random characters on the previous one looked like the headmistress. Also, doesn’t the character shoveling snow in front of Milhouse’s house look like the babysitter bandit?
The upgrading of fortress of lonelitude is taking me much longer, due to my wanting to finish my monorail bonus for the week. Frustrating that I have so many youngsters but not all of them can complete the youngsters task for the upgrade. And 8x8hrs is a lot.

I was did some sloppiness around when I got the Biggest Snowman, which I occasionally didn’t finished up, and Hot Squishee Stand, and when I got back into the game, I came across Moe’s Exotic Petting Zoo, and the Gil deal, then I noticed the splash screen change today.
Where I missed the Shack?
You didn’t miss it. You have to progress through the Zoo, then the Reindeer Burger Truck, and then the Fortress of Lonelitude to get to the Moonshine Shack. It’s a questline.

Part 4 of “Vengeful” will finish overnight tonight, so I’ll get Maggie as a Christmas gift tomorrow.
I’m trying to figure out how far behind my trip put me…
I’m doing fine with mistleholly (actually about a day ahead of the calendar), but I’m a bit worried about where I am with the building tasks, compared to what I’m seeing other folks saying here…
I’m on the first round of the last step of the Reindeer Burger truck and I’m almost done with the first step of Level 2 of the Fortress (making Kooks take liberties, or something like that…). Am I in okay shape for getting all of the Act 2 building tasks done in time (and, of course, for getting Maggie)? I’ve had to do almost every task twice to get the requisite number, which is fine for 4-hour tasks, but challenging for the longer ones (although I’ve been breaking my “game off by 10:00” rule for this event to try and get, say, two 6-hour tasks done in one day, as much as possible).
But I feel like I keep reading about people who seem to be way ahead of that, so I just want to check in and see if I’m really behind most folks (I’m not including people who are still asking about the Gingerbread House here, lol!), or if it’s just that the people who have gotten, or are about to get, Maggie are posting disproportionately to others, because they’re coming here to share their excitement.

Thanks for responding, Lee….was surprised that I hadn’t heard from anyone else about this (since people usually like to answer questions like that).
I feel like I’m the only one who hasn’t even started the shack yet! I really don’t understand how I ended up this far behind, especially since I made sure to prioritze the building tasks over the rail yard tasks (except when I had more characters than I needed to do the building tasks…or, rather, too few characters to do it in one go, but more than I needed for the two full rounds).
I don’t mind waiting a little longer to get Maggie, as long as I know that I’m still in okay shape for finishing everything on time in the end. I continue to be about a day ahead on the calendar, so at least I’m not worrying too much about that. And, while this will be the first time that I didn’t finish the weekly challenges in five days, I don’t see any reason why I shouldn’t have them done by tomorrow. (I guess one good thing about being behind on the building tasks is that I haven’t needed Cletus for the Moonshine Shack at the same time as I’ve needed him for the daily challenge.) But they sure did spoil us last week with how much easier it was to get those daily challenges done, compared to this week, with all of the multiples!

Already feeling better…got the shack and did the first round of vandalizing (have started the second one to go overnight). I feel like things are more under control now (I think) and I continue to be over a day ahead of the calendar. I’m playing later than usual so I can send Ned on another (final?) round of Christmas tree seeking, so I should be done with that tomorrow (I think).
Looking forward to getting my 5 rail yard donuts tomorrow (I think) and my 20 weekly-challenge donuts tomorrow, as well. And I got a donut during my neighbor visits (even though I didn’t get to do more than half of them (and maybe less))!
Have they ever updated the splash screen in the middle of an act before? I like the new one! I’m behind on getting the moonshine thing triggered. Of course today they do 4 tasks with Cletus?

What? I looked on Tapped Out Wiki (possibly unreliable) and it said that you would be able to get Maggie for free from one day–January 1st. Guess the writers on Wiki were wrong 😄

I can’t find most of the Springfield heights items to craft! The only thing on my list is a beach house and some of the new decoration. What am I supposed to do with all my currency if there is nothing to spend it on? And I was saving for the rugby field…. Please help!
When you open the menu, swipe right on the arrow and in the top row should be a button to get to all the Springfield Heights items.
Should get moonshine shack in a few hours almost done the 2 part of fortress. I hope, I takes forever with double tasks. Maggie better be worth all the effort.😒

I’m gonna set this article aside to use when I get that far…love that you guys are so in top of things, especially during this busy time of year and the new baby and new job and all! Hey, seriously, if you want me to babysit the site and push comments through a few times during Christmas day, I’d be fine with that… I’m really not doing much that day, AFAIK right now…

Well, the offer still stands…just let me know if you change your mind. Besides the fact that not everyone celebrates Christmas, some folks who don’t have any real family to hang out with may be missing their TSTO family especially that day….it’s the opportunity for “community” that they wouldn’t otherwise get on a day when it seems like everyone else has one. Personally, I can go either way…I’m fortunate to have my husband and we’ll probably have about 30 minutes worth of “Christmas” in the morning (no tree, but I think my husband is doing stockings and will have bought me a little present or two, even though he won’t let me get him anything and I’m the one who’s Jewish, lol!) and then we’ll have our Christmas lamb dinner later in the evening, but, other than that, the day won’t be anything special here (other than a couple of phone calls to his mom and my stepmom…my stepmom is my only parent who isn’t Jewish and his family is Christian).
But if you’d prefer to “shut down” for Christmas, that’s certainly your prerogative (sp?) and I can totally respect that. Just wanted to let you know that I stand ready to help if you change your mind. 🙂

I’ve been leveling attractions nonstop, and while the first two are done, I’m still in the process of getting my fortress to level two. It will be days before I get the moonshine shack all leveled and whatnot. I really want Maggie!
act 2 is more cumbersome because they have 4 and 8 hour tasks that you have to send characters on twice. not fun, just duplicate tasks to complete. i think i should get maggie tomorrow though since im a couple days ahead.
I’m in the same situation. I’m on vacation playing throughout the day, but the long tasks that you don’t have enough characters to complete in one shift are making act two crawl by.
You don’t need to fully upgrade the moonshine shack. After it’s placed a 4h task for Moe triggers, followed by 4h tasks for CBG, Cletus and Krusty. Then you need Marge free and get Maggie.
Phew, I hoped I wouldn’t have to upgrade everything. It’s going to take me days to do that.
I’m up to part 3 of the vengeance quest, so hopefully I’ll unlock Maggie on Christmas Day!
