- Complete The Old Man and the ‘Sino Pt. 2 to be able to see the Event Menu, Items you can earn, and start to see Casino/Poker Chips collecting from various areas (more in other posts).
EVENT CALENDAR STARTING 2/24/16, DAY 2 OF ACTĀ 1
As per usual, I will be starting the Calendar one day AFTER the ActĀ releases so you can factor in timeĀ you will need to send Characters on tasks, get Buildings, and fully launch the New Event. I will also be stopping it the night BEFORE the Act ends, as it will give you enough time to focus on all the other last minute stuff.
Now you have a basic daily breakdown for 12Ā days based off of approximately 8434
RedĀ ChipsĀ a day.
Again, do not panic. Remember that it is slow going at first so you may āappearā and feel like you are behind, but as you progress through the Questlines and Event you will start to see that you are getting more and more and more each day. Just go at a pace that fits you, but remember the more you play the more you will get. These are totals you want to reach by the end of each day if possible.

In short, you will need 101,200 Total Red Chips acquired in Act 1 in order to get all 5 Prizes.
HIGH ROLLER BONUS ROUND?
YES! The “BONUTS” (Bonus Donuts) are present forĀ Act 1. Once you have collected the 101,200 TotalĀ Red Chips needed for the Personal Prizes, you then will get the chance to earn some more for a Bonus Gift. High Roller Bonus
My High Roller Bonus Rounds were 8500Ā RedĀ Chips
Once you reach the 8500 extra Red Chips, the 3 Donut Box Pop Up will appear and you have a 1 in 3 chance to tap a box and get 3 Donuts. If you do not get the 3 Donuts, you can pay $150,000 to try again until you get the 3 Donuts you want.
PLAYERS CLUB CARD/ POINTS
In addition to earning the Chips, you can also earn Players Club Points to get even more items. This appeared once I won my first Personal Prize and/or earned some Players Club Points (more on that in another post). Here are the amount of Club Points you can earn from the Personal Prizes in Act 1 (they reward when placed in the game).

Is it only me or today the walking gamblers from the city are simply not giving tokens at all?
Before when I cleared my city in the morning I would end up with 9 or 10 tokens. Today I got only 2, and nothing more until now…
Yesterday I ended the day +-4.000 red chips ahead of the calendar, but now I’m lacking 3.000 to get the last prize and I already visited my friends and completed my daily challenge…

Will the red chips be carried over to act 2? Should i spend it all in act 1 since i’m already done?
You can’t spend chips…not the red ones. You collect them and unlock prizes, you don’t spend them.

I think my game is glitching…when I got my first prize the burns fountain, my points started over taking me back down to zero..now I have to start all over and get 15,000 something for the wedding chapel? At this rate I will never get all the prizes in time does anyone else have this problem? That can’t be right.

I’m playing with Just the six casino gamblers, yesterday i sent them on task 6 times, cleared all gamblers in my town, spent my tokens on the dice and slots games, did my 90 friend actions in in a 24 hour period I went from 67545 to 82715 so that was 15000 in one day. I started over 3 days late and am now back in front without any need for extra characters etc.
I started the event a day late but am now two days ahead of the calendar. Purchased the Big Hat Texan, so I’m running seven gamblers a day through casino 4-5 times a day. Also visiting friends, tapping gamblers in my town, and using my slot machine tokens. Hang in there if you’re behind.
…Damn. I didn’t think to check my storage for characters who might be able to earn chips. Whoops! Big Hat Texan eh? Cheers!

So…I am at 69350 casino chips, it’s early in the day and I haven’t visited friends yet (can’t for 10 more hours :-/) in your professional opinion oh ye gods of tsto addicts š is it doable for me to get all prizes before act 2 kicks in? I started way late (3days) and I’m pretty close I think…maybe I’m just being a whiner and a worrier but I wanted to hear from the experts! If I’m diligent and tap happy do you think I’ll make it?
Also does anyone else have their gamblers get “stuck”? I tap em to send them scurrying on their merry little way and they either don’t register the tap and keep moping or they stand still and chill until I leave and come back a bit later. It’s not every gambler, maybe 1 out of 5. Just curious.

Thanks Alissa! I’ve been grinding like crazy and since reading that post I feel much better. I have spent donuts and wonder if I hadn’t would I be as close to the goal as I am now but in the long run I don’t care because I wanted what I got anyway š

I’m done earning the Act 1 prizes and I’m debating hanging onto my slot machine coins and banking them for Act 2 where they might be more useful to me. Does anyone have any clues yet as to whether the coins will have value in Act 2 or any thoughts on this strategy. Thanks!

Since I’m a week behind, if I don’t get all the Act 1 prizes, does the currency change or reset so that I can be on track at the start of Act 2? I don’t have to catch up, do I? Thank you!
Usually, it just swaps over to the next currency and previous Act Items go up for sale for Donuts only. It is hard to say they will be up for purchase 100% until it happens, but you will be back to starting at 0 with everyone else when the new Act does arrive with the New Event Currency. (Will have a new Calendar for it too) š
As always, the game updated a week late for me so I’m a week behind… Really stressing out trying to catch up! Just unlocked the Impulse Chapel. I’m not sure I’ll be able to get Lucius. I always seem to miss out one the last prize of the first phase of every event. But hey, I’ll keep trying!

Hi!!! Does anyone know if after getting all the prices for act 1 and starting to get red chips for the bonuts, you don’t get any coins or horseshoes or coasters from gamblers anymore? I haven’t got any today and I’m wondering if it’s a glitch or it’s supposed to be like this…

Does anyone on this site know all the players that can have a task at the casino to gain you chips and tasks? Wish they showed a “Helps with Casino” text under the characters in your inventory just like how they have that “Helps with Heights”. Thanks.

I’m still behind, and I think I must be missing something.
If 5 gamblers spawn every hour, and I allow myself to sleep for 8 hours a day, then that’s chips tokens from gamblers.
If I do the 4 hour casino quests five times a day (again allowing for sleep across the 6th block), that’s 2500 more chips.
Should I really expect to get 5134 chips from Gaming Moe’s, or am I vastly underestimating the gambler spawn rate?
12 gamblers spawn every hr. (1 every 5 minutes)

Urgh I’m already 3 days behind, I love the game but it isn’t compatible with anyone who works.

I feel like I will never get enough chips. Feeling disheartened today!
My wife and I have been religiously been playing for several years now and love this game, we love how now there are more opportunities to earn or win donuts. I do wish that in this current event of the casino atmosphere that more characters were able to play in the casinos. Also what are the chances or have u guys thought about having some type of map showing our individual towns in complete, like a satellite view???
The entire town view is definitely something tappers have been requesting for a while. Unfortunately, we are just players like everyone else here. I hope EA does something like this in the future. I’m sure they decided the ten total was a good number to earn all the prizes for the first Act. We’ll have to see what changes happen with the next one. Only time will tell.

The only jobs are the casino ones. The other ways are tapping gamblers and using your tokens at Gaming Moe’s.

Even playing through the night rather than sleeping only gives you 3,300 from the 4hr jobs? So you’ve got to get 5,000 chips from tapping gamblers, using tokens, and visiting friends?
Your options are character tasks, clearing gamblers & playing slots at Moe’s. You can earn a TON of currency from those 3 options. I’m away ahead of the calendar and I’ve barely played this weekend…
And don’t forget the possibility of earning them from daily tasks…I switched out a task today that would have earned me over 1,000 chips! (I got greedy and was rewarded with a task for 5 yoga mats *sigh*. I made the 5 mats (had to, for my grinding), but I’m not going to collect the task and hope I can switch it out again tomorrow. This is the second time that switching out a gambling task gave me a lame SH task instead. Lesson learned!)
The final way would be to get loads of friend codes. Each Spring Field would give you 30 (10 for each gambler tapped) it’s not that much but if you had loads of friends it is a decent way. Just Google Simpson Tapped out friend codes there is a bunch of websites. Hope this can help

I’ve never heard the term “friend codes,” but if you’re talking about adding friends, you can find people to add from the Add Friends post on this site! (Just look up at the top of this page for the menu link.)

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong – I’m at least a day behind, and normally that’s not the case. I’m not sure if all the parts of the casino tasks are starting – I don’t remember sending Marge to it. Ugh.

My town unfortunately, even though I am a continuous daily player, did not give me the update until Friday the 26th… It did the same thing for the last event. Starting out two to three days behind makes act 1 not so much fun. Does anyone else have this happen to them?
This happened to me too. Ugh so frustrating!
Big events are never “given” – you have to go get them from the App Store. Eventually, if you don’t, it’ll make you go there (by not letting you back into the game and saying “Want, Want, Want!”
That’s why, when it’s been a while since an event ended, it’s a good idea to check your App Store or read this site a couple of times a day to make sure you aren’t missing the start of the next one.
I actually have never been late to start an event besides this one. I actually just get a feeling it’s been too long and check, but this time that system failed. There’s got to be a better way!

I am behind too. I am at 30,800 even though I am home with some kind of bug and have been tapping away often. Oh well. Also I have a glitch in my ability to craft multiple items like the stars and fountains. Still liking this event though!
I am a Freemium player with 250 donuts to spend. I am also currently 3000 tokens behind schedule, and have only the 5 freemium characters to get them from Burns Casino.
Can anyone advise me on whether or not to buy the Rich Texan in order to help with the event, or might I be able to do it without him?
If you play every 4hrs you should be fine without him
I too am freemium and decided to buy the Rich Texan. He has been on my wishlist for awhile and the benefits during this event finally convinced me to purchase.
5 freemium characters? I’ve got 7. Are you using Tuxedo Krusty? And did you finish Springfield Heights? Paris Texan and Tuxedo Krusty were both free for me, although I can’t remember how I got Tuxedo Krusty, during the Terwilliger event, I think.

My Simpsons didn’t update till yesterday (26th) the update didn’t even appear in my App Store as my phone has been playing up. Do you reckon there’s any chance of catching up as I’m about 30000 behind your calendar at this point.
I think so. I’m way ahead of the calendar (like 3 days ahead) with just casual tapping. So as long as you’re diligent about it, you should be good.
So I’m a very active player. I have Paris Texan. So I have 7 characters going to the casino every four hours with few exceptions. It’s now Friday night and I have just over 20,000 casino chips. I can’t see for the life of me how you came up with 25,000 chips by the end of Friday. I started playing this event the instant the update became available. Where do you stand now on your chip count? Anyone?
Are you playing the slot machine? That’s a massive source of chips. If you’re hoarding tokens, that could be why your chip count is so low.
Thanks, as always, for the calendar. I’m a long way behind at this point but expect to be on track soon, once all my Railyard characters enter the fray. It always fascinates me how quickly some people get all the event currency they need and sometimes adds to the pressure. I’m enjoying this event; lots of great prizes.

Hi, I am new here. I’ve only really just started playing the game in the last few days. But I have completed the first quest of the casino event, and earned the 100 tokens, but since then, for the last 24 hours I have not been given another token quest? Is that normal? I have no way of getting Moe’s as I do not have any quests? Thanks for your help š

This is a fun event so far! I have started collecting the stars and will probably get some fountains soon. My friends are doing some cool things with their town designs, especially with the different kinds of spotlights.
I had to blowup my springfield it was completely non functional due to lag.. too bad we cant undo buying plots of land

I tried reading through all the posts regarding the casino but can’t find my answer. Sorry if you’ve already addressed this. I have 120 cards for the concierge at burns casino. When I play the slots at moes and occasionally get a card as a reward, its not adding to my card total; so I can’t get passed level 1 for those tasks. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for the continued info!
