Hi all . Quite a big day for me last friday . Finally had the cataract removed from my right eye . This had been pending for about nine months due to my other health issues . Still need the same .done for my left eye . Another step on the road to being able to go back to my job .
What a revelarion it is to be able to see colours again and not feel as though someone dimmed them and you are looking thtough a misted up window all the time . Every day my sight in that eye gets a little clearer , but still some way to go . Don’t enjoy putting two types of drrops in every two hours , but holy crap THE COLOUR , THE COLOUR ! They had me all prepped up for a general anaesthetic , even down to having to wear one of those gowns where you’re bum is on show . Don’t want to even think about why they might need easy access there ! Anyway , got all dressed up ( or dowm lol ) for nothing as they did it under local anaesthetic. Won’t give you all the gory details , but considering I was terrified and eighteen months ago you would havr had to drag me screaming amd kicking all the way there , I’m pretty proud of myself . Now I can appreciate the game more and get on with the plans for areas I had been holding off on until I could see what I was doing . Have a good Act two everyone and holy crap THE COLOUR , THE COLOUR 🙂 🙂

My husband said the same thing when he had cataract surgery: THE COLOR! That year we went to Cirque du Soleil for our anniversary, and he said everything looked like it was in hi-def. He kept saying he was sorry he waited so long (he was terrified too). Congrats, and enjoy all the Color!
I think it’s because our eyes are our window in to the world Miranda. I’m sorry I couldn’t get it done earlier but as we say over here in the UK , I was also being ” a big girl`s blouse ” , a “big jessie” and a “scaredy cat” . Not something I would queue up to have done every week , but not as bad as I feared . Just had to lie there and “think of England” , “keep calm and carry on” , “worse things happen at sea” etc…… 🙂

I hate doing eye lists. I’m quite sqeamish when it come to eyes. Well done for tolerating it. Every time I do a list I admire the pts abilities to tolerate the surgery. All the best for your next op 😊👍

Hooray! I can empathize. Once returning from an undisclosed location in Southwest Asia, we landed at night on a tropical island and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, it was total color shock. The only thing I could compare it to was when they took old B&W Gilligan’s Island episodes and showed them in color. It was just that bright and mesmerizing. Glad to hear your surgery went well and welcome to full spectrum tapping!

Well, I saved up about 150 tokens and a couple daily challenges that awarded chips, and I have the first two prizes an hour after I started. (Which is nice because the first one is just a sign, which I find very meh. A building is way better.) I’m also four tiers towards level three crafting. This act will be even easier than the first 🙂
Went through all my friends again at the start of Act 2. It is now 37 minutes after the start of the Act and again, only got 89 friend tokens. So, they have no fixed that glitch.
That has been around awhile, so probably not going to be fixed anytime soon.
It’s been like that as long as I can remember. I wonder if it would be fixed if we were getting 91 taps instead of 89.

Help! The Newark sign in second act didn’t reward club card points is anyone else seeing this happen?
In the past, you had to make sure you placed it and did not store it. So, that could be a cause if you did store it.

Hey, I got the final prize just in time, this morning. This was very close, I was prepared to pay some donuts for Lucius Sweet, but didn’t have to. This has been quite challenging event as I can play the four-hour tasks only three times per day during weekdays.

Just completed my eighth and last set of bonuts. I think I did quite well. Round one ends in an hour and I’ve got a town heaving with gamblers, casino jobs ready to collect and a good few chips to spend at Moe’s. I reckon I’ll hit close to 6k new chips almost straight away. Doing rubbish at upgrading though!
If I go to bed now and leave my gamblers in the casino on their 4-hr tasks, will I be collecting Act I red chips when I wake up in the morning? Or whatever color the chips from Act II will be?
My guess is the next Act’s chips but we won’t know until tomorrow for certain.

Glad to see so many tappers having such an easy time getting the prizes this event. I unlocked Lucious a couple days ago and even got a round of bonuts even with barely tapping.. little Princess made her grand entrance last monday and everything has been easy breezy. Any moms here had a c section? Or multiple c sections? Just curious on others experiences. Dads too! Hubby almost fainted this time around, think he was more nervous about having a daughter than he was about our son lol. Cant wait to see the new episode, probably catch up at our 4am feeding 🙂 who knew not getting any sleep could be one of the best feelings out there.
On a TSTO side of things I am loving the rebate deals!! I only make small premium purchases now and then and had decided Barney and Miss Springfield (no matter how BAD i wanted them) would never be in my Springfield at there original price, so I loved being able to pick them up!

As for sleeping, yes I know I will miss it very soon, between her and my toddler I’m lucky to get 4 hours with their entirely different sleep schedules lol. Naps during the day are a blessing. But that unconditional love gives you enough motivation to power through the day. As for the boy/girl debate.. im definitely more afraid of raising a daughter because I think of all the things I pulled over on my own mama and she always cursed me with a daughter 20x worse than I was.. good kid just sneaky is all lol. My son there aren’t as many things that can go wrong that reflect badly on you as a mother, other than (god forbid) him being a little deliquent lol. Well, now this is very disturbing…hoping someone here might be able to help.
I went over the EA’s TSTO General Discussions forum and got a message that I’d been banned from that forum. I can’t imagine what I could have done to get myself banned….y’all know what kind of a poster I am! I haven’t even been on that site in weeks (not since Where’s Maggie first started) and the only thing I know of that I ever did wrong was to try and post a link to this site about something, because I didn’t know that links weren’t allowed. The mods deleted the link and told me and that was that. But I know that I was able to post after that. I did complain to a moderator about her reply to an issue related to the Maggie game (as did a zillion other people), but I can’t believe I would have gotten banned for that (and I’m still getting email alerts about people “liking” that post).
If anyone has any connections over there and can find out for me what’s going on, I’d appreciate it. The error message just says I’ve been banned and to contact the Administrator for more info, but I couldn’t find a way to do that. My handle there is the same there as here (I believe). I did manage to eventually find a pm button for someone who I *think* might be moderator there (johncolumbo) and sent him a pm about this with and email address he could reply to, but I’m not sure if he’s the right person or whether he’ll respond.

Nope – I was a good student and never really went to bars (and have only rarely ever gotten drunk…don’t like it…), so no chance of either of those. I also don’t tend to troll or behave inappropriately online, so, unless I get thrown out for being too verbose, that’s unlikely, too. (In fact, when I first started hanging out here, I emailed the moderators to tell them to please feel free to tell me to cool it if they thought I was “over contributing” at any point. Haven’t gotten any messages like that from them yet! 🙂 )

I was kicked out of a bar once when I was 22…for being too drunk, which also led to me passing out on the street in key west waiting for my friend to get the car and slapping a cop when they hit me with the smelling salts…fun times lol. (ah to be 22 again…) But I was allowed back in the bar the next night…

I think that’s the normal reaction lol Let’s just say attempting a Duval Crawl in Key West 2 nights in a row is never a smart idea… (it’s also not good when bartenders and bouncers know you by name and you don’t live there. Then when you go back months later they still remember you…)
I did get kicked out of a hockey game in high school. It was a big rivalry game and when we scored first a bunch of people started throwing stuff on the ice. Dog food, super balls, dead fish, anything they could think of and sneak into the game. I had not snuck anything in, nor was I throwing anything. A friend, who was a couple rows in front of me, had a handful of marbles. When he threw them, one somehow went backwards, hit my coat, and rolled down into my pocket. I picked it out, looked at it, thought what the hell, and chucked it onto the ice. Just then a security guard comes by and points right at me and says I saw you, you’re out! Are you serious? You saw me throw that one marble, but you didn’t see him throw a handful or anybody else throwing anything lol. Actually a lot of people got kicked out (but not my friend) and the game was called and we had to forfeit. So yeah, I’m kind of a marble-throwing bad-ass lol. 😎

lol ummm i drank A LOT that night. I probably shouldn’t be writing this out…but yea. Do you know what a Duval Crawl is? It’s where you go to every bar on Duval street in Key West and have at least 1 drink. Got kicked out of the last bar (ironically Sloppy Joes)…after many many many shots of tequila. Ah my younger days..i honestly couldn’t drink even remotely close to that now. Lol and I don’t think I’d even want to. Heck I think i’ve had 2 drinks since having Riley… but yea I enjoyed my Senior year of college (Key West was basically my second home that year, I was down there once a month lol)

How did you get to that many! I got Lucious with a day to spare, but have all the non-premium characters for the casino and play every two to four hours. It amazes me how many chips some people have managed to rack up
When the dice game came out there was a time I got 400 chips 6x in a row. Slots have been great too. Luck I guess. And the most tapping I’ve ever done. I’m pretty good at the gamblers every four hours.

Please help. I just got the Sleep-Easy Motel and I received the 115 donut refund but I’m pretty sure the store said I should also receive over 700 Burns Casino Club points and I didn’t get them. I did build and place the motel and sent Miss Springfield on her first task when I noticed I hadn’t received the points. Anything I can do? Thanks.

I just hit my fourth round of bonus donuts. I also got the daily challenge which was aquire 5 coasters and won 20 tokens and also was challenge 10/10 for 6 more donuts. So I still have 38 tokens left and thinking about trying for another round. Or maybe I’ll just save them for act 2.

So right now I am 17,810 away from unlocking Lucius. I have 122 tokens saved up(after my last 2 collections from the casino). I’m wondering what the average amount people are getting per token from using them. I know it’s a gamble using them instead of saving them, but I’d just like to know what my chances are.
Like you said it’s a real gamble. I tried to help my cousin to collect 12,000 chips today and we couldn’t make it.
From Moe’s I find I get, on average, 100 chips per gold token.
