Wild West 101: Town Plaza Level Up (Act 1)

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Time to hitch up the wagons and head out west, because the Wild West has hit our Springfields! With bandits to tie up, guns to sling, gold to pan & gold ole’ Homer getting everyone all riled up!

With so many layers to this event, it’s easy to get confused with what’s going on.  But, that’s where we come it!  To guide you through the ins and outs and break it all down in a manageable way, that anyone can quickly understand.

In this post we’re going to break down of leveling up the Town Plaza, for Act 1.  By the time we’re done you’ll have the ins, the outs & and the know how to fully understand just how upgrading works for Act 1.

So let’s get to it shall we?

So this post is pretty simple, because honestly leveling up for the Wild West is the simplest leveling up we’ve ever seen!

To level up for this event, at least for Act 1, you simply have to tap bandits…and that’s it.

Leveling up doesn’t require turning in resources.  It doesn’t even require thinking about it…it just happens, as long as you’re playing the game as you should be.

So here’s a quick break down of each level for the Town Plaza and what it does…

You’ll start off at Level 1.  At Level 1 in the Town Plaza here’s what’s available:

-3 Hideout locations for Bandits: Simpson House, Flanders’ House & Kwik-E-Mart (the Wild West Film Set too if you’ve spent the donuts)

Note: If you have Multiple Kwik-E-Marts, you will only earn Bandits from 1 of them.  The others will pay cash.

-4 Bandits every 4hrs from each Hideout.  This symbol means you have bandits available at a hideout.

-Tasks at the Town Plaza for: Homer, Apu, Bart, Cletus, Lurleen (if you have her), Rich Texan/Belle (if you have them.  And they alternate tasks.  Rich Texan can ONLY earn Hats & Belle can ONLY earn Pickaxes).  Also, if you’ve purchased Buck McCoy he’ll have a task there too at Level 1.

To upgrade to level 2 it will require you tapping 20 Bandits….

Doing so will unlock a task for Marge at the Town Plaza…

To Upgrade to Level 3 it will require tapping 150 Bandits (after you’ve upgraded to Level 2)

And doing so will unlock 1 more Bandit to Spawn from the hideouts.  So instead of 4/4hrs you’ll earn 5/4hrs.

To Upgrade to Level 4 it will require tapping 300 Bandits (after you’ve reached Level 3)

And doing so will unlock the ability to have Gummy Joe do tasks at the Town Plaza…

To Upgrade to Level 5 it will require tapping 500 Bandits (after you’ve reached Level 4)

And doing so will now unlock the ability for Bandits to Spawn from the Krusty Burger, so you’ll get 5/4hrs from Krusty Buger (Note: only 1 of your Krusty Burger’s will pay out bandits.  The others will pay cash)

Once you’ve reached Level 5, during Act 1, you will not be able to upgrade any more….you’ll see this in your Town Plaza:

So EA has capped us at 5 Levels for Act 1.  Once Act 2 unlocks you’ll be able to upgrade an additional 5 Levels & the same is true with Act 3.  So there will be a total of 15 Levels for the entire event.

The best part of all of this?  As long as you’re playing as you should be, simply clearing bandits when you can…you’ll upgrade without even thinking about it!  And add new benefits to your town with each upgrade.

So don’t stress about upgrading, it’ll happen naturally and on it’s own (litterally there is nothing to turn in or click.  Once you reach the required number of bandits your Town Plaza will automatically upgrade.  It’s about as autopilot as you can get!).  So simply play the Wild West Event, tap those bandits, earn that currency and you’ll be fully upgraded in no time!
