Superheroes Sequel Prize Guide: Social Battle, Prize 3 Kiosk

Special shout out to Safi for his help with this post while I’m away on vacation this week.  Thanks Safi! 🙂

Hey there fellow felons!

It’s good to be bad in our Superheroes Sequel event! Especially when it comes to Social Battles. Once you are able to trigger the social battles, you take on your neighbours’ heroes as felons in a quest to unlock 10 social battle prizes.

Before we get into the third prize, the Kiosk, you may have noticed there was no post on the first two social battle prizes. That’s because the first prize (awarded after participating in 10 battles) Tungsten Dude and second prize (awarded after participating in 20 battles) Sciencewater Cooler are fairly self-explanatory and don’t need a guide.

Now back to the Kiosk…

Once you’ve participated in 32 social battles, you’ll automatically be awarded the Kiosk and you’ll see this message popup:

Kiosk 1

And you’ll have the option to store or place it in your Springfield immediately. Remember if you store it, you’ll have to go into your inventory to retrieve it later.

Kiosk 2

And that’s about it. The Kiosk is simply a decoration. No questline, does not generate any event

currency, or provide an XP bonus. Just win the prize and that’s it.

Here are some quick facts about the Kiosk:

ico_priz_superheroes2_kiosk_lg

Size: 2×3
Conform-O-Meter: Vanity +100
Where Can it Go?: It can be placed on land, sand, or boardwalk.
What Does it Do?: It’s just a decoration from Season 18, Episode 11 “Revenge is a Dish Best Served Three Times”.

And there you have it the details behind the Kiosk. Not much too it, but now your Springfield can have a little kiosk to purchase comic books from …

What’s Next?

charactersets_felon_brainsfSTEM-antha – Awarded after participating in 45 battles. However, as STEM-antha (fourth prize), Trading Card Box (fifth prize), and Gluteus (sixth prize) are self-explanatory, the next prize we cover in a rundown post will be the seventh prize (awarded after participating in 80 battles) Pie Man Epic Statue.

So that my friends is the full breakdown of the third (and first two) Social Battle prize!

What do you think of the Kiosk? Were you on schedule with the calendar to unlock it? Thoughts on social battle prizes?  Thinking the sequel is better than the original?  Or still like the original better?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Looks like EA has lowered requirements for the social battle prizes – after an update I suddenly received three of them at once…

  2. Did anyone else get boosted along thesocial battle prize track when the July 4th update came through. My next prize is the pie man statue now but although it says I won it I didn’t get the 500 trading cards. The other fighter seem to have come through though but won’t know for sure till tomorrow.

  3. Seems like they changed the reward tiers … I woke up this morning and was awarded the Kiosk, STEM-antha and the trading card box, with only 30 social battles.

  4. They must have made social prizes much easier to get. I only played 3 neighbour battles since last night and got the kiosk, Stem-antha, trading card box, and Gluteus, just like that… Next prize up is Pie Man statue. Also, the new quest for One Hit Wonder Films and only needs 34 battles (or something like that….it seems to have disappeared since I just got it and went and did my two neighbour battles. The icon was Smithers.

  5. Don’t know if this has been mentioned yet but today’s update seemed to have changed the social battle calendar requirement to total # of battles (44) to complete everything.

  6. I definitely have not competed in 32 social battles, and I somehow got this and the science water back to back this morning. I’m not complaining.

  7. They also patched to grossly drop the number of social battles needed. So I ended up with two new villains and 500 cards today.

  8. Well, the Social Battle calendar has been recalibrated! (Still wish there were a timer, though.)

  9. I think EA has made some changes to the number of battles needed for social battle prizes. I have played 36 social battles so far. To my surprise this morning when I opened my game, I was awarded STEM-antha, Trading Card Box, and Gluteus! Also, it now states I only need 44 battles for the Pie Man Epic Statue. Anyone else have this happen?

  10. The number of required battles dropped drastically today. Pie Man Statue now unlocks at 45. Meg Ahertz is 66. Not sure about the rest. At least it feels achievable now.

  11. I was stuck on receiving the Social prizes for awhile only being awarded the Kiosk (third one).

This issue seems to have been resolved today.
All of a sudden I was awarded multiple social prizes when I opened my game this morning.
    I just got:
    #4) STEM-anha
#5) Trading Card Box (was put in my inventory)
    #6) Gluteus

Where is everyone at on their prize list?
My next prize I’m waiting on is #7 (Pie Man Epic Statue).

  12. This thing is teeeeeny tiiiiiiiny. I still like it though.

  13. My social battle numbers changed immensely with an update this morning. Do we know the top number of social battles now? I’m excited that I think I can get everything again.

  14. Well, I just had an update, with the new Gil 4th of July deal. It’s Teddy Roosevelt and a National Park. Now, besides that, I’m wondering if they lowered the counts on some of the social fighters. Because as soon as my game opened, I was awarded Stem-antha, a box of heal juice(?), and the next fighter (can’t remember his name.) And also a quest for Mr. Burns to I think fight social battles. It said I had completed those to be awarded the One Week Wonder studio, but I wasn’t awarded it, because I haven’t earned the other prizes yet. So, I’m not sure if those things are a bug, or if things were adjusted. Anyways, I just wanted to give a heads up, and if anyone else came across the same thing.

  15. So I just loaded up my game to find I had unlocked 3 of the Social prizes. Currently on 36 wins and making progress on the 7th prize which is now 44 wins. Looks like they massively shortened the number of wins required.

  16. Looks like an update hit that changed the numbers. I got 3 prizes at once and am close to the Pie Man Statue at 44 battles. This should make things go way smoother for those who may have missed a day or 2. I thought I saw a mission for the One Week Wonder Films at 56 or 65 battles but could be wrong as it no longer appears. Happy tapping neighbors!

  17. Just got an update, and it looks as if they changed the Social Prize payout levels. Much more leisurely now…unless there is something else coming down the pipeline.

  18. I was really worried I wouldn’t make all the social battles in this part of the event. (same problems as everyone else, problem loading in, crashing and loosing battles due to time, etc) But with the new update today I was rewarded both STEM-antha and the Trading card box after logging into the game. It seems they changed the battles needed from 115 to 77 in total.

  19. So it looks like they’ve changed the totals? I have 31 battles and was just awarded the kiosk and STEM-antha. I can’t check as I had already had my 3 daily battles so I’m just guessing.

Looks like enough people had a issue with it.

  20. The update today that also brought July 4th to our towns has changed the number of battles needed. I am now working towards the Homer Statue.

  21. Has anyone else had loads of social battle prizes all awarded at once? I’ve only completed 36 battles but I am working towards the pie man statue. It came after the update so I didn’t know whether it was a glitch or whether EA have altered the amount of battles you have to partake in to win the prizes. 😊

  22. I think they’ve changed how many battles you need before unlocking some of the prizes: I hadn’t reached STEM-antha at lunchtime, but I visit a few hours later and received her, the cards and Gluteus.

PS – There’s also what appears to be a questline and some things in the shop (including a Gil deal) for the 4th of July.

  23. They suddenly lowered all of the required battle counts to unlock these items. Today I unlocked both the 4th and 5th prizes just by starting the game. Now I’m on Gluteus which needs only 34 battles to unlock, it used to be like double that… Great to see, since you are limited to 3 a day it wasn’t looking doable…

  24. LOL, this goes live right after they update the schedule of Social Battle prizes.

Not sure anymore how many battles you have to participate in now for the Kiosk. Definitely not 32 anymore.

I unlocked STEM-antha with my 45th battle last night. And then this morning they adjusted things, and it just flung me past the Trading Card Box, Gluteus, and Pie Man Epic Statue.

I can confirm it’s 54 battles for eighth prize First Aid Kit (down from 92), and 66 battles for ninth prize and final Felon Meg Ahertz (down from 105). Not sure abouth the other 8 prizes.

  25. Actually, there was an update today and I had 42 social battles so far, but after the update I got the 4th prize (needed 45 social battles before the update), the 5th and the 6th all at once, so obviously the prize track was updated. But, have fun at your vacation first. 🙂

  26. They adjusted the levels and now it takes half the battles to earn each prize.

  27. The target numbers for battles have been eased, i was very happy to notice

  28. Josephine Kick@$$

Eh, I could take it or leave it. A small bonus % would have helped.

  29. is it just me or did they change the number of wins you need for social battles? im only at 27 and i got the first 5 and only need 34 for the 6th

  30. Imagine my surprise when I logged in today and was awarded STEM-antha, the trading card box, and Gluteus all at once. I’m not sure what’s up with that. I know that I’ve fought the most felon battles out of my handful of friends (and usually I’m about 4th on the list) so maybe others are lagging, too, and EA is concerned people won’t get through the prizes? Not sure, but I’m not complaining.
