Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
In continuing the series of “what would you like to see on this site during the downtime” posts, we’re going to tackle another popular requested item. Many of you commented that you wanted to see more charts. More charts and data. And another specific request was one post that contained all of the character groups. This way you have one quick reference point when you’re assigning characters on particular Daily Challenge Tasks.
Now we’ve had a comprehensive list up in several places on the site, including in the Daily Challenge rundown post. However, we’ve never had one post dedicated just for character groups.
So, without further ado…let’s get to grouping those characters!
These are the Current Character Groups for the tasks…I’ve tried to update this as best as possible, but it’s always possible I’m missing a character or two, and if see someone missing let me know and I’ll add it to the list. (I know EA’s done some character group shifting…)

Cool listing…but playing around today I came across something and I’m not sure HOW. I asked EA about it but figured I’d ask here, too,
I was in Krustyland, looking at possible buildings I could place, when I hit…something, and suddenly I had a list of character groups: Simpson Family, van Houten family, etc. looked like you could click on the group to see who’s in and who you need to get. But I’ve NO IDEA how I got there; looking around the menus, I don’t see that option anywhere.
You found the character sets, which you accessed by going into the store and (accidentally?) tapping the Homer statue icon, as shown below:

I’ve been playing diligently for almost three years and I sometimes still forget how to get there myself, lol! (Part of the reason may be that I don’t pay much attention to them, unlike some folks who make it a point to try and complete character sets.)
These may have already been mentioned, but isn’t Shauna a bully, and shouldn’t Milo be an entrepreneur? If they have been mentioned already, I apologize. 🙂

Not a big deal at all, but the Senior list is up there twice….of course, maybe that’s because the seniors forgot they were already up there, because I know my memory sure has been getting worse the older I get, lol! 😉

Actually, I probably missed it more because I’ve kept that post open on a tab (as I often do with newer ones)…I wouldn’t expect post changes to come up via email. But sorry to waste your time with something it turns out you already knew! 😝
lol actually several people told me the same thing..but i was working on fixing it prior to that. I wanted to just redo all the groups so they were easier to read.
Let me tell you…for “downtime” I sure am doing a lot of work (although necessary lol)..I’m actually looking forward to the event hitting so i can take a break! 😉
So, here’s a fun question for everyone…if you were a resident of this Springfield, which category(ies) would we find YOU in?
I’d probably end up in Brainiac (although, lately, I’m not as sure about that), and maybe Glutton (although I’m not as heavy as the other characters there, but, man, I do love to eat!), and maybe Senior (depending on where the starting point is for that). How about you? 🙂

As much as seeing them trying to increase interest in SH, what a kick in the nuts for those of us who actually took the time to grind our way to the billionaires club.
I’m liking the charts. Here’s a suggestion for another: something showing the characters and their costumes including which costumes pay more for tasks.

I had Daily Task fpr Criminals just today, and I had Gina Vendetti with them.

So speaking of the 4x SH production… There’s 4x SH production! 🙂 Here’s hoping that means extra SH land! Ideally as wide as the rest of Springfield… And we need the ocean tiles to be doubled in width too
I am at 2 billion for Springfield heights (red blazer reality) and can’t get past it even though earn more buildings. Is it a glitch? Also I get knocked offvthw game when I visit friends. Does anyone else have this problem?

A couple of notes for those getting a jump on the SH 4x bonus – the PolyVac and Insanity Cauldron also pay out 4x SH currency. The Googolplex also pays out 4x, but movies are FREE!
Thanks for the tip. You can play movies even after your SH currency is maxed out too!
