Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The 2016 Sci-Fi Event brought us loads of witty dialogue..with fun twists, turns and a load of laughs!  

While we’ve had the Turbo Tappin’ version of each questline up for all of the questlines for a while now, we thought now would be a fun time to take a look back at all the dialogue and jokes of the freemium questlines of the event.  So if you missed any of the dialogue during the event we’ve got it all here for you!

SciFi is Over…Mostly- UPDATED

Alissa is tied up today (Not literally. Really. I wouldn’t do that), and asked me to hold down the fort for a bit today. The BIG NEWS is the end of the SciFi update.

Whoohoo!!!!  Or…Ahhhhhhhh…. Depending on what you thought of the update.

Again…while the timer has run out, and most of the events options for earning Event Currency have stopped working, you are able to “suspend time/space” (appropriate, right?) for a little while longer as long as you don’t do the update from the App Store to flip the switch.

UPDATED on the Update- It is LIVE in the App Stores…but not forced takedown, yet!

Sci-Fi 2016 and the Conform-O-Meter

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The Sci-Fi Event released a bunch of new items into our Springfields.  Everything from a hover cards to new fangled Kwik-E-Marts to mushroom towers to evil labs!  So let’s take a look at how these new and items impact our Conform-O-Meter…

The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and  XP from everything you collect in the game.  When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town.  If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.

While the Sci-Fi event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations.  So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating: Continue reading →
