Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well today’s the day Destination Springfield is slated to be removed from our Springfield’s, so I thought now would be a good time to look back at how all of the items added for this event impact our Conform-O-Meters. Especially since this event brought LOADS of items to Springfield…
The Conform-O-Meter is an important part of Tapped-Out because it provides you with a bonus boost in your cash and XP from everything you collect in the game. When you achieve a 5-Star Town (it’s max rating) you will receive a 5% bonus on all money and XP collected in your town. If you missed the previous Conform-O-Meter posts check here for the basics and here for how many points you’ll need to reach 5 stars.
While the Around the World event brought no changes to the Conform-O-Meter requirements, it did bring a bunch of buildings and decorations. So let’s take a look at how all of the new “goodies” impact our rating:

Whew! As you can see this was a very full event, loads of items added and brought back!
What were your thoughts on the Around the World Event? Ready for what’s next? Which buildings/items did you win/earn? How’s your conform-o-meter doing? Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!
Well my conform-o-meter is sitting at 650.05% just now but i still have around 14 characters with building’s plus various other decorations from previous events still to be place out in my town. If they were out i would be sitting around the 700 mark but until we get more room it stays in my inventory.
This event helped me focus my cash on building the Googolplex building and still get really great items to build up my Springfield and conform-o-meter level. The playable characters they offered during this event were awesome and I am really enjoying them. My tree-hugging and vanity increased noticeably with all the many items I crafted too 🙂
Anybody else not updated? I go to the App Store every hour, no update.
My Osaka Flu tab indicates I should visit friends to infect them for the next -1 day -4 hours – 24 minutes, then its -25 minutes.
Odd it should indicate 1 day.
I’m west coast, PST,
I thought it kicked in 6 or 8 my time, and its 9:30.
Hmmmm
There’s no update for anyone yet
Righteousness is always neglected, and yet is the one that is always giving me problems… Very nice post, though!
TSTO is a great game and I’ve had a few quirks also, spent a lot of time with customer support and all but one concern was rectified. But much of that time was trying to convince them that I was not trying to STEEL doughnuts. If this were to happen again I’ve decided that I would just destruct my town and move on. Life is way to short for waiting all my time on the phone/chat/e-mail with anyone. There are plenty of games out there in ciberspace that are pretty awesome. One is The Room Series by FireProof games. The graphics are beyond great. I’m impatiently waiting for the fourth in the series.
Good luck to you on your quest.
The Room is awesome…no other escape game does it as well.
I just have to ask a question to the masses.
I had to contact EA’s helpdesk (if you can call it that) for the first time last week, as I logged on one morning to find my donut level had dropped by nearly a thousand.
First they told me to wait 24 hours to see if they reappeared… they didn’t… so then they told me to orgnise a call back. This is easier said than done, as it just isn’t in the options list for me. I’m UK based, so I know they’ve got a UK helpdesk number, but when I call this they keep telling me to raise a request on the website… which I can’t. At the resume case part, I’ve been repeatedly told that there should be an option for “Call Me/Chat/Email”; however, I only get the Email option. I’ve taken a screenshot, but I can’t attach it as the EA help website is so woefully underpowered, that even though it says it can receive an upload of 5Mb, it couldn’t even upload my document of 56Kb.
Like I said, this is my first time contacting EA, but for those of you who have had the misfortune of dealing with them, is this level of frustration usual?
As a UK based tapper myself it seems the only option here is to email them. But in all fairness EA are usually quick to respond to said email. However the response you get will extremely varied depending on who replies. I’ve had really good and really bad replies in the past but even if they close your case you can either reply directly and argue that it’s not satisfactory or open a whole different case and hope you get someone different who understands the game. Good luck and remember to be polite 🙂
