For as long as I can remember, I have had a fixation on Mt. St. Fuji…
I know. It is actually 2 different mountains. But, as a kid growing up in Portland in the shadow of Mt. St. Helens, I had heard repeatedly that Mt. Fuji in Japan was Helen’s sister. It’s easy to understand why…if you take a look at pictures of the two mountains before May, 1980.
Only the cherry blossoms tip off the viewer that one is in Japan, and the other in the PNW.
Today is the day many of us have been waiting for since the Around the World Event started…it’s the day we get Uncle Norbert and FINALLY figure out how the heck to get the elusive Golden Train.
So since it’s Friday, and most of you will be getting this today, I thought I’d sneak in an extra post here about Uncle Norbert and the train so y’all know what you’ll be working with over the weekend.
And with that let’s take a look at unlocking Uncle Norbert, his questline, unlocking the Golden Train and Uncle Norbert’s tasks…
Pack those bags and grab your boarding passes because it’s time to go Around the World with The Simpsons! The Around the World Event is in full swing in our pocket-sized Springfields and that can only mean one thing….all new prize tracks to work our way through!
This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Brazilian Pins () to unlock each prize!
The sixth Act 3 Prize awarded at 40,829is the Samba School, because every Act needs a musical number finale….
