Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread! So, let’s get the conversation going! Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long. This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING. Just no Add me requests…those should go here. We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Finally the Simpsons are back this week! After what’s felt like forever, our favorite yellow family is back this week for an all new episode. Will you be watching?

We had an all new episode of Addicts Live yesterday, did you watch? What were your thoughts on what we discussed?

Secret Agents Act 3 hit our devices last week, what are your thoughts on Act 3? Ready for the event to be over? How are you doing with the prize track? Crafting your items?

It’s almost Sunday and the Simpsons are FINALLY back (after a week off) this week with an all new episode!

So here’s your official TSTO Addicts reminder…all new episode of The Simpsons, this Sunday, April 30th, on FOX….“Looking for Mr. Goodbart”

So what do The Simpsons have in store for us this week? Here’s the episode information released from FOX:

“Bart gets in trouble on Grandparents Day at school and is forced to hang out with Skinner’s mother as punishment. After spending time with various grandmas in the neighborhood, he learns the benefits of hanging out with the elderly, but eventually recognizes the dangers of taking advantage of them. Meanwhile, Peekimon Get has taken over the town of Springfield.”

YOU Did This…The Amazing Work That TSTO Addicts Can Do!

When we talked about getting a water tank and rain collection system for our “adopted school,” in Buyijja, I was expecting some support, and a long haul to getting it done in the middle of a major TSTO event.

Silly me.

You guys ROCKED IT… and as promised, not only did the money get into the right hands quickly, but the immediacy of the situation (6-month drought conditions, with a dry well), got everyone into action.

By the time you read this, the tank should be fully installed. Yep. START TO FINISH in less than THREE WEEKS!

Animator is Working Overtime for This Event…Thanks!!

I know…I was whining about the length of these events in my last update. I don’t mean to look a gift “spy-gadget” in the mouth (in fact, it’s NEVER advised to look a spy gadget in the mouth, gift or no gift), but, I rEAlly (sorry, can’t help myself now…) want to make it clear that for the most part, I am really (see, I’m trying…) enjoying this update.

It’s not that the dialogue has been great, or that I think that a tidbit of story-line followed by weeks for grinding is the kind of event that EA should just keep doing forever. But, what IS really making me laugh, is the amazingly creative animation that comes with even the smallest Freemium items won in this event. They are clever, hilarious, and continue to make me laugh every time I poke one of them.

Coming from the world of “Claymation,” I appreciate it when someone takes the time to add weird little details, and lot of imagination. Will Vinton’s crew had this talent…and then Nick Park, of “Wallace and Gromit” fame took it to new levels of hilariously weird, inventive, insane gadget ideas.

We all know about “Q” who is Bond’s gadget builder. This update is like morphing “Q” and Nick Park together…into a landscape that would make even the stodgiest CIA spy at Langley smile.

Well this morning Wall Street has taken over Springfield, I guess the writers didn’t see the massive boom in the stock market that made a lot of 401ks very “plump” this week, as a new series of Dossiers have unlocked this morning! 9 days of Dossiers lead to an all new mystery prize.

The spies are invading Springfield! Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games. We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers and a shrinking donut bank account because there are LOADS of spy items in our stores just tempting us with those sprinkles!

Of course with that limited-time label it can be tempting to buy everything that looks awesome because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.

The spies are invading Springfield! Yes, the Secret Agent update has hit our games. We’ve got hacking, drones, dossiers & a whole new prize track to work our way through!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story. To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event. For the third Act you’re tasked with collecting Corporate Intel () to unlock each prize!

The First Act 3 Prize awarded at 6,450 is the Secret Agent Car, because every spy needs a bad ass car…

So let’s take a closer look at this first prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…
