Secret A-gent man! Secret A-gent man! New update…woohoo!! While many of us expected an event to hit our stores, I don’t think anyone saw this one coming!
Secret Agents Event hit our devices yesterday afternoon and with it arrived, not only a whole slew of secret agents, but a whole new questline to work our way through!
As was mentioned on the rundown post Act 1 runs until April 11th, and you’ll need Homer to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first Act and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
So let’s take a look at the questline to see just what happens when Springfield goes covert….

Why is it so difficult to collect schematics?
I know you said you’d have a separate post to talk about the crafting but honestly I have not gotten any Schematics since my first time crafting. Ok i’m reading here that they are rare though someone said they were fixed for 2 each…. But I still am not getting any to drop.
EA has laid this one out so it’s hard to get schematics at first. They’ll get easier as the event goes on (Acts 2 and 3). I believe they’re doing this to prevent you from finishing everything in Act 1.

Can’t say I agree with the decision to make that process slower since it’s probably the more annoying process of these events in my opinion.
If it’s not a character and doesn’t add any extra jobs I’m not really all that interested in the crafting however I still try to get everything.
My daily task was to collect 40 schematics. I’ve been playing every 4 hrs for the last 12 hrs, & my total is 38. I don’t see how this is correct.
According to EA it is correct 😊

Woo Hoo! The donut fairy came into my life and I got Hank Scorpio! If this walk through wasn’t here I might be confused because 4 questlines popped up all at once!

To collect event currency you’ll need to use that skin. But you can wait on those questlines. If that’s what you’re asking…
The crafting items in this event is so Meh to me.

just hit a really good glitch…every time i tap a suit he pops straight back up…went from 8000 to 19000+ in minutes

A very long time ago I was able to score a lot of donuts by a glitch where Eddy, being frozen by a monster, automagically popped back to normal. Each 2,000 taps gave me 6 donuts, EAch time.

I only get schematics when I play the mini game. I’ve got a running total of 67. If it’s not a glitch I’m not counting on getting much for crafting, and not spending any donuts.
Same here, I play multiple times a day and still haven’t reached the second level ! Those darned schematics are so hard to earn !
When I tap my “men in tan” I only get 12 Intel, no schematics. Only can get those from drone game every 4 hours. I’ve seen others with this problem also reported it fixed in their game, mine still not working right. I can’t craft without being able to collect them.

The “men in tan” are now working correctly…when tapped they issue 2 schematics(for crafting) and 12 intel.
Amended…2 out of six have given schematics…don’t know if this is how it’s supposed to work, or if it’s still just glitchy…
Still not for me. Does give 12 and 2, but they are both intel.
Same here, been pretty much playing all day today & I don’t think I’ve received even 30 including the Surveillance Post every 4 hrs.
I also only get intel. 12 and 2. only about 60 schematics so far
Same here, I sent a msg to EA, if enough people complain, hopefully they’ll fix it. It’s happened to me before with other events & I didn’t bother, but this time I’m not letting it go.
I got one or two prizes which were placed into my inventory. But I didn’t check for them right away, and now I don’t know what they are or what they are called, let alone which part of the inventory they’re in. Can anyone give some insight? I wish that EA would improve the way Inventory works. It’s my only, ONLY beef with this game
Unless you know what they are called, you will have to scroll thru the entire inventory…sorry, no shortcuts…
Ps…if you “don’t know what they are”… how will you know when you find them🤷♀️😄?
Exactly my point! It would be great if the could add an exclamation point or “New” tab by such things. Oh well, time to scroll and scroll and…
I’m not sure of how long it lasts for, but on mine there is a ‘new’ box which appears below the item on the scroll bar. I flick to one side sending the items moving quickly and wait until I see this box, then stop the items to check if it is the one I want. Hope that helps.
I don’t know about the rest of you but I’m finding the puns in the quest dialogues hilarious!
Fun event so far (fix that schEmAtic drop though).
Is there a minimum level to play this quest? My wife JUST started playing, and of course doesn’t have Hank Scorpio yet. Does she have a chance to see/play this event?
A lot of the files say requirement Level 5, but you’ll need Marge and Moe for the Situation Room so I’d say Level 15..

Hank Scorpio and his VULCANO Lair was/is prEAmium, so fork out those donuts/€/$/£/¥
Hank Scorpio is a premium character now on sale for 120 donuts (160 with a 40 donut rebate). He has always been priced at 200 donuts before.
I was waiting for a long time to b able to buy or win the satlelite station, and now it seems that I might have to gamble my doughnuts to get it.
I would prefer to buy it from the store. I hope I can get it without to much spending.

I am also very disappointed in the amount of crafting schematics I’ve accumulated. I have even paid donuts for items to see if I could trigger more. Bummer memories of the events that I lost out on 😕 Not starting out on a happy foot EA. I hope this is fixed soon 😊

The “men in tan” should be generating ‘schematics’ (according to the help? screen for the crafting section)…they are instead generating 10 ‘intel’ and also 2 ‘intel’. I think the 2 is supposed to be 2 ‘schematics’, but there is a glitch…hope it is fixed soon.
I really hope it’s fixed soon also. One of my favorite things about these events is being able to craft what I like 😊

It’s difficult for sure.
EA is the controller of the event currency tap. If we all complain, EA will open it more.
pretty sure it’s a glitch. We should be getting schematics from tapping men in tan. I’m not getting any. There’s a couple of threads about it on EA forum. I’m sure they will straighten it out, there’s always a few bugs at the beginning of events.

I got only 40 schematics during a day when 6000 cheap intel. This must be a bug.
I’ve gotten some tapping the tan men, but I’ve had the best luck using the remote drone & tapping secret agents. I really hope EA increase the availability! Right now I’m relying on my 4hour timer to get the most I can.
I’m only getting 5 each time from the drone 😕

Wow, VERY short quest line! I have Homer already phishing for spam – or was that spamming his fish? – so I’m almost done, and it is only the second day!
Ok addicts I need help. I bought Hank but he has three quest lines. Which one gets me the new skin to help with this project
Look in inventory.
All I had to do was pull the Mastermind skin out of my inventory. There is a quest associated, but I didn’t need to start anything special.
Sorry, but the skin must be purchased from the store🤑…that said, the neon laser quest is the quest associated with this update, but, unfortunately, does not earn the skin 😞.
You don’t need the questline, the skin should be in your inventory if you got the bundle.
I found his skin in my inventory, check there if you haven’t already 🙂

After almost 20 hours, I had to uninstall on the ipad
I went to the Apple App Store and look and behold, there it was, the update.
Is it just me, or has everyone else’s zombie sandwich stopped working since this update?

It hasn’t stopped working, its just glitched. Its not showing that the zombie task has started for the character you sent.
Mine works but now has a glitch where is still show the character on the list even after you send them on a job. If you go out and back in, it should show the correct list but you have to do it each time.

Is it just me or is anyone else finding it SUPER HARD to quite crafting currency (schematics)?
in the same boat! i’m only at 80 schematics, and at this rate, it’ll take another 2 days just to advance to crafting level 2. i hope a new way of gathering schematics gets introduced, otherwise there’s no way i’m going to get to the final crafting level. 🙁

I was just about to post a comment on the exact same thing. While I don’t expect the crafting to be easy it looks like EA have made an error here & will have to adjust the payout of schematics.

Is Hank Scorpio’s laser is greener quest line integral to act1 advancement? I just got him with the rebate and I’d rather have him collect secrets.
I don’t think so since there is no exclamation point next to the questline.
I have sooo many quests now after unlocking Hank. At most I’ll have 1 or 2 during an event (zero otherwise) but now I have 6 or so.
I bought Hank Scorpio and several jobs popped up. Is only one of them related to the current event?
