Well, today’s the day. Day 9 in the Situation Room and the E.P.A. challenge. Today’s the day you’ll unlock that mystery prize (which we revealed in this post and in the title of this post…) at the end of the 9 day E.P.A. track.
So let’s break down the details of the prize: what it is, what happens when you unlock it & what it does and more….
Plus I’ll let you know what the Day 10 tasks will be…
So once you’ve completed your two tasks for today:

You’ll defeat the enemy agency and see this popup:
Congratulations! You’ve overthrown the E.P.A. Note to the spies in the Microwave: In the game, not in real life. Please don’t send anyone to my house..I’m just rewriting game dialogue…
As a bonus reward you’ll earn 2,000 
AND 60 
So for those curious why it sent you can earn Schematics from Dossiers, now you know why/how.
Additionally you’ll unlock that not such a mystery now prize…
The Screamapillar & you’ll get this message popup:
And you’ll have the option to place in Springfield immediately or store it in your inventory for later. Remember, if you store it you’ll have to go into your inventory later to retrieve it.
And here are some quick facts about the Screamapillar:
Size: 4×4
Conform-O-Meter: Tree-Hugging +100
Earns/Bonus: Nada. Maybe in the future, but right now no regular income and no bonus %
Where Can I Place It: grass|pavement|boardwalk|beach|pier|dirt
What Does it Do: Regularly it’ll make the sound of running water when you’re near it. But when tapped…the Caterpillar screams. Here are various screams from the files:
So far I’ve only heard the 2nd one in my Springfield. Not sure if it varies per down or per tap…but with several taps I’ve only gotten the 2nd one.
And that’s it my friends! All their is the defeating the E.P.A. and unlocking the Screamapillar.
So what’s next? Hang out and wait until April 8th when the next one unlocks…

Originally had him in my Japan area, but the suggestion to put him in the petting zoo was too good to pass up…I like the craziness of it better here…

OMG, I love what you did with the Alien! 😅 For whatever reason, I love my li’l Alien (as well as the Free Eagle we got a little while back), but I haven’t really been able to incorporate her into my SF in a way that looks natural – this is great! 😀

It just makes me laugh every time I hear and see it. I zoom right in before tapping. The facial expressions and movements, along with the scream just make this thing priceless. Even better than the rainbow barfing unicorn. Lol Too funny!

clamsdonuts to get this little guy, one my all time favourite things from The Simpsons. The years of muted sound in my game may well be over. I think I want his little scream as the message alert on my phone.edited by me to help fix the FG world error 😉

Put it in my “event area” for now, but it looks like it would fit in nicely with the Chinese or Japanese stuff from Destination Springfield. Or maybe with the Buddhist Temple. We’ll see.
I only got the one type of scream as well when tapping it so far, maybe the others are ones they considered but eventually discarded? Since for now he sits near my HQ, I will tap him some more during the event, maybe he will change screams at some point.
It might have to do with the Mayhem ID number. At the EAster event with the egg baskets, the color of the baskets depended on that number. Even/red, odd/blue (or visa-versa).
Good idea! I will definitely hunt it down in my neighbors’ towns, to see if it gives off a different sound there.
Ok, went ahead and did that right away, but every one gave me the same sound – the 3rd one. Mine, too, but I could swear yesterday I heard the 2nd. So maybe it cycles through them, different sound every day?
Can I make a calculated guess that the next prize for the dossiers will be a character? The information page for the dossiers has the silhouette of the screamapillar pond but it also has one of a female character. You can also see her on the loading screen. Not sure where she is from but I reckon she’ll be the next prize for us to get. Just putting my investigative skills to work 😉
She’s one of the Crazy 8’s from the Kill Bill movies, I think. Check them out to get excited about unlocking her!

LOVE this little guy! Makes me giggle every time I tappa tappa tappa it! And my screamapillar has only ‘screamed’ the 3rd file so far….
What am I missing? It will likely go in storage along with most of the prizes in this event. I’m enjoying the event, just not the prize track. I guess I’m more of a realist. I like conventional decorations for my town.
I like the idea of putting him in the Japanese area, but also Moe’s petting zoo where I have a reindeer and the snake-in-a-tree…

Please don’t tell me I’ve completely lost my ability to read, but your teaser said you’d tell us what the tasks would be for day 10, but I didn’t see that info. NOW is it time for the home?
Oh, and mine wouldn’t go in the beach, unless it overlapped the land, which was too bad, because I might have added it to my zoo, if it had. But I noticed out kind of had a Japanese feel to its container, so I put it with the Japanese cherry tree next to the sumo stadium.

I love this little guy. The episode with him was hilarious. I could listen to his screams for hours.
Yeah, that episode was hilarious, and I was reminded of it immediately the moment I tapped him. Naturally it had to sit in my Himeji Castle compound. There’s nowhere else I can think of that’s a better fit!

I’m guessing others will have mentioned it by the time the comments are moderated and added to this topic but the game says the next set of dossier tasks won’t be available until April 8th.
I’m liking some of this event, most of the buildings will never see the light of day but a good number of decorations will with the Screamapillar being one of them. I hope it fits in well with the Japan area of my Springfield.

OMG!!! I am going to have so much fun with this! Just playing the sound files had 3 of my cats running to me freaking out, meowing. They are going to hate me getting this!

They are great kitties and all of them rescued. So they know how good they have it here LOL.

We have 5 now. Last year my husband brought home a orphaned 4 week old kitten, he’s now 9 months and the feistiest thing I have ever seen.
For I had a part time tomcat. He stayed in home during the autumn and winter and when the spring was in the air he left and during spring and summer only came back whenever he was ill or wounded.
A lot of male cats are that way, especially if they aren’t neutered. I’ve had a couple that broke my heart that way.
After deafeating the E.P.A. today, my Situation Room shows the following message at the bottom: “Other enemy agencies still lurk in the shadows. Watch for them to appear, starting: April 8th.” I took that to mean there won’t be any new tasks until then, and thought it strange that there would be a gap. Maybe they meant for it to say April 6th – it’s not like there haven’t been incorrect time counters or dates listed before…
It’s probably a safety margin. I think they give everyone a few extra days to complete all dossiers in case you missed a day or two before moving on to the next one. 4 agencies at 9 days each requires 36 days total to complete. The event lasts a bit longer. It was the same for all of uncle Norbert’s tasks.
I thought it was going to be enormous like most other event prizes – but fits nicely in my Asian district

I have always wanted the Screamapillar! I thought he would come as Koi Pond & Screamapiller (NPC), but nope! 🙂 🙂 🙂
