I have to admit, that when I saw the details of this update, I wanted to quote my great grandfather to the 2,000th power, ThunderThighs Miller, with a single word…”Ugh!”
Of course, in his day, “Ugh” meant everything from, “Nice dress, it makes your hips look perfect for child bearing” to, “Hey! You Overcooked the Mammoth Again!!”
But, in this case…It was just the feeling of a whole-lotta-tappin’ going on, for some mildly odd prizes. I DO like the archaeology twist. But, just like archaeology, you have to be patient (not my strong suit).
In any case…the Prehistoric Prizes are all attainable, with some solid 4-hour planning (how did prehistoric man count hours?). Let’s take a look…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Well it’s been teased in game..and now we finally remember what Homer forgot! Time to go back in time using a sophisticated toaster! That’s right for this first “Act” Homer will travel back to the Prehistoric days…when dinosaurs roamed the earth, cavemen played with fire & Artie Ziff’s ancestor got all the caveladies attention!
As was mentioned on the rundown post the Prehistoric Act runs until June 11th, and you’ll need Homer to get things started.
Remember, the questline is there to guide you. So when you get stuck on something, or haven’t unlocked something, just follow along with the questline and it’ll take you through everything you need to do to complete the first part and unlock everything you need in order to play properly.
Let me add I’m very pleased so far with the questlines. Looks like EA extended it beyond just the initial run through, and the dialogue is really funny. Nice to see the classic dialogue is back!
Let’s take a look at the quick walkthrough for the first round of the Time Travel Event, as we go back to roam with Cavemen and Dinosaurs….

Well it’s been teased in game..and now we finally remember what Homer forgot….it’s update time!
This is an APP STORE update, so check your app stores to update. If you don’t see it as a pending update search your store for Tapped Out.
Currently this is only live on Android…waiting on iOS and Kindle…

As always I’ll be back with more details as I go through them, but for now…I’ve finally had a chance to go through everything, pull all the data and images…so here we go, details below the fold
Homer kicks things off with a 6s task, followed by another 6s task, followed by another 6s task, that last one will trigger the event and the event buildings…again back with more in a bit.
Side note…once you do the first 6s Homer task you’ll get a side quest from Bart. Initially you’ll be instructed to unlock Cecil…but once you have you’ll get a new daily challenge system…Road to Riches. From what i can tell this isn’t part of the event…I’ll explore it more in a bit…

Hello fellow tappers and welcome to a post where I try and grab the attention of EA so I can deliver my unorganized wishlist of future content. A few months ago, when Addicts started the Design an Update contest, I started getting very excited and started to plot some ideas. I entered the update I thought would be the easiest to complete – being in a busy schedule at that time – and was very fortunate to get 1st place. All the other finalists were AMAZING and reading through them all makes you realize how much more EA have got to go.

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
In the USA it is Memorial Day. A day when Americans remember those who fought for our country and freedom that are no longer with us. A time to mourn the loss of those no longer with us, but to also appreciate all that have done for us to protect our freedoms. 
A few years ago Wook took the time to lay out his thoughts on Memorial Day as a Veteren of the US Air Force, definitely worth the read and can be found here.
Take the time and enjoy the day my friends, but please remember why you get to enjoy the extra time in the first place.
To all our readers who have served or continue to serve in our US Armed Forces (and Armed Forces around the world), thank you.
