Secret Agent Dossiers: C.I.A. Prize Track Tasks 1-9

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well this morning the C.I.A. invaded our microwaves Springfields as a new series of Dossiers have unlocked this morning!  9 days of Dossiers lead to an all new mystery prize.

A quick reminder of what happens in the Situation Room can be found here, but let’s get into the new details for the C.I.A. Dossiers.  Including each days task and what prize you’re working towards!

So when you log into your Springfield this morning AND you’ve cleared tasks at the HQ you’ll see this message popup:

If you’re not seeing that message popup or the Situation Room change over…clear tasks at the HQ.  If you have no tasks to clear there send someone on a task there and when it’s finished clear it.  In two games it didn’t popup for me UNTIL I cleared the tasks at the HQ.

So what are the tasks for the next 9 Dossiers:

Dossier # Task Character Needed
1 Coerce Drunken Confessions Moe
Fake His Way Into a Celebrity Function Krusty
Make Moonshine Detonators Cletus
2 Act Gentrified To Infiltrate Apu
Swallow Secret and Not Secret Info Homer
3 Be So Boring Nobody Notices Him Skinner
Bully His Way Into a Function Moe
4 Illegally Access Webcams Krusty
Crack a 1 Digit Code Homer
Trasmit Codes Over the PA Skinner
5 Use Dirt as Camoflage Cletus
Work Hard to Fit In Marge
6 Hide Codes In Burgers Krusty
Sit on Important Enemy Stuff Homer
7 Track Gossip Trends Marge
Change an Enemy Expiration Date Apu
8 Shoplift Enemy Information Apu
Whittle Coded Secrets Cletus
9 Give Enemies Paper Cuts Skinner
Use Hair Dyes as Invisible Ink Marge

Complete 9 Dossiers and you’ll unlock the Mystery Prize…

So what is it?

Grind House Assassin…what appears to be…a Non Playable Character (NPC) for Springfield… (sorry guys I know how disappointed you were when I told you G.H.O.S.T was an NPC…this looks like it’s another one)

Once we’ve hit day 9 we’ll have a full post up explaining the prize and details (similar to what we did with the Screamapillar and G.H.O.S.T.)

Oh and if you haven’t completed the first or second set of Dossiers (the EPA track) you can still complete those now.  BUT you’ll have to complete those before you can move onto the G.H.O.S.T prize track…

OH and a Pro Tip because the C.I.A. prize track pays out Intel when you’ve completed that days task:

And because we know you can build up Dossiers to complete multiple ones at once…if you’ve already completed the Act 2Prize track you may want to hold off on completing the C.I.A. daily Dossiers until Act 2 hits.  This way you get a nice head start on the Act 2 currency…this gave me a nice jump start on Act 2 when I did it with the G.H.O.S.T prize track.

But only do this if you’ve already unlocked Wayne Slater….

And fair warning…if you decide to hold off on completing the Dossiers until Act 3 starts (which is next Tuesday the 25th) it will prevent the characters that have active Dossier tasks from completing tasks at the HQ.  So you may want to complete a few Dossiers and then save a few for the start of Act 3, if you’re looking for Bonuts.  But if you don’t care about Bonuts (since they’re so easy to get these days), go ahead and save them.

So that’s it my friends, the details for the next 9 Dossiers in the C.I.A. prize track!

What are your thoughts on the C.I.A. enemy?  A fan of this part of the event? Annoyed that it’s yet another NPC?  Sound off in the comments below, you know we love hearing from you!

  1. Wow, another NPC? 👎
I guess EA is just phoning it in (not even trying anymore) 😞
Something else to store away ….

  2. I hope that when I get her she doesn’t disappear like G.H.O.S.T. seems to have done. I know some others also had the same problem but there has not been any more comment. Have looked everywhere but it seems to have just disappeared. It is in my character set but not even in inventory🇬🇧😢

  3. Even if you do the Dossier jobs daily, at the end what really matters is to log in every 4hrs during the day and how many characters you have to send to do jobs at the HQ. For example my pattern is: 6am/10am/2pm/6pm/10pm, it gives me enough sleep and enough for bonuts days. But that’s just what kinda works for me. “just a theory aaaaaa GAME theory”

  4. Disappointed that she’s an NPC, but I will still go through the trouble of unlocking her, because I love Kill Bill! Will be cool to having her wandering around town, perhaps swinging her spiked ball.

  5. Grindhouse Assassin is a terrible name…She is of course in reference to “Go-Go” from Kill Bill…great villain and should have had more screen time. A play on “Go-Go” like “Shoo-Shoo” or something more clever would have been appreciated since she is a NPC. Boo…not amused. :c(

  6. Most NPCs are just meh to me, there are a few I love and some rotate in and out of storage. While I usually would be dissapointed that she’s just an NPC I’m actually ok with it because she’s super cool! It’s Gogo from Kill Bill! 😀Hopefully she’ll get some tasks in the future.

  7. So the uninspiring Femma Fatale is premium, but the COOL female character for this event is an NPC. Sigh. Really, EA? Lame!

  9. Well it was a mystery prize until this post ?
I like to wait & see for myself ! My own fault I suppose for opening the info. Let’s hope it is a playable character as you did say it only looks like a NPC.

  12. I’m confused. If one holds off of cashing in and getting bonuts from the 2nd act does it pay off later with more bonuts in the 3rd act? I’m just not seeing the logic behind losing access to Intel tasks by holding off. If possible, please explain and use small words *g* since I’m obviously a newb.
    Thanks.

    • Once you have the final prize in act 2 (Wayne), doing the dossiers will only pay out more of act 2 currency, which you no longer need. If you don’t need the bonuts (KEM farmers) or are willing to accept fewer of them, it makes sense to hold off on completing the dossiers until act 3 starts – because then you can get paid in the new currency. All the excess Act 2 currency is worthless when act 3 starts, but doing a bunch of saved dossiers at the beginning of act3 will give you a jump start on the act 3 currency. Hope this makes sense…

    • We won’t lose access to the dossier tasks, they will still be there to do when act 3 goes live. We will most likely finish act 3 with enough time left to make up for the bonuts we lost by waiting—and more!!

We won’t lose very much act 2 currency by waiting, just 1000 per day. Over the next 6 days that will mean that we are only going to miss out on one set of bonut boxes for a loss of 3 bonuts maximum.

    • Sorry, I’m still not getting it. Might be because I didn’t explain clearly or don’t see how to get around the blocked access I was seeing. Today’s dossier tasks for me used Apu and Homer. If I didn’t send them on those tasks, I wouldn’t be use them for Intel tasks until Act 2 is finished right? So I’d be missing out on 40 of the disks every 4 hours for the next 5 days. Each day would add more intel tasks being blocked as other characters don’t do their dossier tasks and can’t do intel tasks. Seems to me like I’d be leaving a good number of bonuts unclaimed over the next 5 days, but I didn’t know if somehow the bonuts made after the last prize in act 3 would somehow make up for the ones missed out at the end of act 2.

      • I get your confusion…if you are not done with collecting Intel at Hqtrs (in other words, you are going for maximum Bonuts) then continuing the dossier tasks is essential to free up your folks for tasks there.
Some players are not going for maximum Bonuts (they may farm donuts) so they don’t need that Intel right now. Those players would prefer to get a boost of Intel at the beginning of Act 3, using the saved dossiers. They can complete several dossiers each day after the next Act begins…it will give them a boost of 5,000 to 9,000 intel in the first couple days of Act 3. It will give them a head start and help them make sure they get all the prizes. I don’t believe that this is the best way to maximize Bonuts, tho, so this may not be the right strategy for you.

      • That’s the same issue I’m having with this – thank you for articulating it so well!

I’m just happy to have finished this so early, because I’ll be away Friday through Sunday and won’t be able to tap more than twice a day for those three days, most likely.

  13. An NPC?! Noooooooo!

Dang-it, was hoping she was a full (or even a partial) character. She still is cool looking so I’ll most likely keep her out unlike the other bad guy NPC we got earlier. I’ve go him out to enjoy but once the event is over I’ll be storing him.

  14. Ugh. Another NPC? I was really looking forward to this particular character too.

I already sunk the donuts in just to go premium since I was already starting to fall behind on Act 2 (which seems like you’ll scrape by if you’re freemium and grinding). This event gets a no bueno from me…

  18. I have nearly 60,000 Intel and will need 14,800 to get the last prize in act 2, think I will save the dossiers till act 3, hope this works

    Like

    • Saving the dossiers is one of the worst things you could do right now. The tasks to complete the dossiers all award intel AND you get awarded 1000 intel for completing the dossier. So by saving the dossiers for act 3, you are cheating yourself out of 9000 intel that you need to hit the 14,800 you need. You get 80 intel for each character task PLUS 1000 once the dossier is complete. That’s 1080 intel (DAILY!) you are cheating yourself out of. Not sure why you would want to do that.

      • I am on 68,000 Intel with 6 to go, also did the dossier by mistake but should have all prizes by tomorrow night with 4 days till act 3 so plenty of donut time and 6 extra dossiers to do on act 3, got it in the bag,

Why are any of you skipping dossier tasks?
They earn the main track currency at the same time.

    Like

    • Because we have finished (or are nearly finished) the main prize track already so we don’t need the currency any more. Also, we will get a jump on act 3 when it starts by doing them then. They will earn the new act 3 currency when it hits.😊

  20. I will gladly accept this Grindhouse Assassine as a NPC and hope, one day she will be turned into a full character. No use lamenting the facts.

Got Wayne today in my main town and will use the rest of the time earning bonuts, recouping some of the many donuts spent on all the good offers during this event thus far.

  24. Frankly, the dossier prizes are ridiculous. I’m skipping those and concentrate on the main prize track items.

BTW. Is it just me or are EA really putting the pressure on to buy premium characters? If you buy the extra characters, you can even skip a whole day and still get all the prizes, but using only freemium characters it’s barely manageable.

  25. Wayne is happily doing his quest, as is Femme Fatale, and Scorpio is finishing up (he had three quests open at one time😲). All quiet in my game till act 3, not going for Bonuts and holding off on Dossiers, so everyone is just doings normal tasks😁. Have socked away a couple hundred donuts for the next round, so not even farming.
Just got to the next level crafting…collecting schematics will be a long haul to get the drill…good thing I like flowers, mailboxes and bus depots🌼📫🚌, maybe even a few more manhole covers🌑👍😁.
The three guys in “Nothing to See Here” will truly not be seen after the event…they are doomed to a digital demise…

    • Why did you decide not to go for bonuts? I’m done with the prize track (which is great, since I’m going away next weekend and now I don’t have to worry about my limited tapping time) and I did decide to take a few characters out of earning event currency, who were only earning 40 Intel but who could be earning premium rates at regular tasks (like Homer, Marge, and Apu, aim of whom I have premium skins for). (Lol – Swype just suggested “penguin” instead of “premium,” and now I’m wishing I did have penguin suits for them! 😀 )

So, at any rate, I’m curious about your rationale, so I can make some decisions of my own….

      • In my opinion, it’s six of one, half a dozen of the other. I can earn event currency (and bonuts) now, or I can push the dossiers back to Act 3 and earn event currency (and bonuts) then. I think waiting is a good strategy for tappers who might face a time crunch in Act 3. For me, I would rather complete the dossier tasks and earn the bonuts now. A bonut in the hand is worth two in the bush, or something like that.

      • Hi Sandra…I would love to have a Penguin skin for anybody…that would be so cool!🐧Baby Maggie as a penguin would be the best!

Anyway, about passing on the bonuts…to collect Bonuts takes almost an entire day sending people to gather intel, tapping all the MIT and doing the Drone game, just to make (maybe) 3 donuts, and a second guess will cost you $150,000…that is ridiculous.
Even “Finding Maggie” has a better return for your time spent tapping, (about 5 minutes total tapping over a 48hr period)…and really, I have pretty much stopped doing that also (that $150,000 bit really burns me…I think all the guesses should cost $50,000, no matter how you got there…just my opinion).
On the other hand, in only 4 hours, I can buy 150 KEMs (my usual amt), wait for them to build, sell them, and collect 50 donuts. My extra choices only cost me $50,000, and I generally win 3 donuts with 2 guesses or less. Since I have more money coming in than there are things to spend it on, it only makes sense to convert the cash into donuts.

So, you can see why winning 3 bonuts 🍩🍩🍩no longer has the “zing” it used to have. If I were a newer player, I would definitely still be going for them.

I am still collecting schematics and visiting my neighbors everyday (just to be a good neighboreeno), but sending everybody to collect Intel (after the last prize is collected) seems like a lot of effort for very little payoff. I would rather see everybody in my town doing jobs (and have them collecting 💰)😄😄.

Disappointment on the NPC: for sure. I think I will keep the tip you have for boosting act 3. Might give me a fighting chance.
I don’t suppose there is an insight in the prize list (mainly the last prize) for act 3?

  29. “Kill Bill” is (are) one of my favorite movie(s), so I like that we’re getting a Gogo character. But, yeah, I’ve only been playing a little over a year and still don’t really see the point of the NPCs. Just something to distract and take up room (and memory) in my town. At least the leprechaun and turkey-monster thing drop a little treasure when you find them; but most NPCs don’t even do that. Don’t some give bonus% for just being out? Otherwise I’d probably store almost all.

  30. I have faith down the road they’re going to give these NPC’s tasks. The Snow Monster was an NPC in 2014 now he’s a full character. I don’t mind NPC’s. They make my town look alive.
