Has anyone else drop rate for lawyers well… Dropped? I was getting around 15 or 16 lawyers every time I cleared my town of fans, but the last few days I haven’t cracked 8. Seems odd, even though I know it’s random…
So last night, I completed the Monorail 25,000 blue prints and got my 5 donuts. I also unlocked Alaska Nebraska and sent her on tasks. This morning, at 5am Eastern, I purchased the Praiseland deal and had a wall piece building. I also sent my Monorail characters to restock my supplies.
This evening, my game seems to have reverted back to yesterday evening as I’m only at 17,000 for Monorail, I’m 3,000 short of Alaska Nebraska, I don’t have Praiseland, and I seem to be 100+ donuts short of where I used to be. 🙁
Zane you refresh my memory….where do I play the googolplex and spy game?……I know where my claw game is.

The Googolplex is a building released in the last update level. The spy game was released in the Spy Event and is in the castle that came with that event.

Me, I ain’t doing no Monorail until after this Event. I do keep building my “garbage”. I’m up to almost 15,000. (?) instead of the max 2000(?)
I should be able to send people to recycle without having to collect garbage.
Why, there are monorail characters not involved in the event.
Springfield observatory is in the vault for me right now, but it does not have a discount. Is this normal? Will a discount show up?

It seems a bit weird, I can’t seem to find threads on why “Oedipus Rx” turned up, I understand it appeared in a 2015 update.

Just a reminder for those few who already have Alaska Nebraska (or are near at the end) and have one or more at five stars:
Prefer your weaker musicians to jam, avoid the 5-stars if any. These can’t improve while the others may collect extra power for hip-hop.
You likely won’t miss any bonuts, reached the final goal already so no need for full power jamming 😉
A family sexagenarian (who has vehemently fought against technology) took selfies with the eclipse behind him then returned indoors and announced his latest accomplishment. Pulling up his gallery to show the family, he exclaimed “dammit!”. The kids said “what’s wrong pops!?” to which he turned his phone and displayed to all, 5 photos…of his fingers! Better luck in 2024 pops!
Still nervous about Maggie not being a jam character, but I’ve got Alaska Nebraska which is nice. Saw the Eclipse with a pinhole on pavement, super fun even with a partial!
Arghhh!! I don’t get it , I don’t get it, I just don’t get it. I can’t find anywhere that explains the bizarre selection of who jams where… sometimes I can fill all spots, sometimes I can’t : even thought all the same characters are available. Even when I carefully clear one stage and reselet the exact same characters just for that stage, I find for example Homer and Apu are now free. Sometimes I clear all stages and use the auto select – but now 3 spots aren’t filled and yet somehow no characters are loose and free to roam for a regular task – where did they go?!?
I’ve played this game for 2-3years and I’m totally baffled by this. Will there be a 101 guide to how this works? For now I just select whatever and calmly walk away….
It’s a random algorithm. So Chillax and go with it.
Remember the Whell? This isn’t as crazy…but it really isn’t something you can anticipate… and isn’t worth the brain damage trying!
The best/worst case scenario is a handful of sunglasses either way as long as you maximize the options at each flip.
Here is your algorithm.
(1) go to number 6 (with 2 spaces). If there are six or more, Choose the 2 highest with only that type, or that type with green. If there are four, check if another venue (3 or 4 or 5) is the same type. If so, split the four between those 2. If not go to number 1 or 2 and fill it out.
(2) go to number 5 (with 2 spaces). If there are six or more, Choose the 2 highest with only that type, or that type with green. If there are four, check if another venue (3 or 4) is the same type. If so, split the four between those 2. If not go to number 1 or 2 and fill it out.
(3) go to number 4 (repeat (2) above)
(4) go to number 3 (repeat (2) above)
(5) check number 1 or 2, see if you can fill either with 4. If so, do it.
(6) if you have any characters left, return to any unfilled venue and fill if you can.
Lol… or just auto fill and STILL get everything as long as you log in 4-5 times a day.
Baffled by this also, I just pick the characters I want to see playing on the stage, got Alaska nabraska this morning, no sweat and had about 3 tries at bonuts so far 😎😎😎😎

Thanks for the algorithm, I’ll give that a go.
Recently I discovered (by taking Patrick’s advice to just “chill and autofill” ) : that if I autofill backwards from stage 6 to 1, most of the time 80-90% I end up filling every slot 🙂
Easiest for me…(may not yield the most…just easiest)
1) use the four sungazers for the rock stage every time
2) use Homer and Rev in Simpson house every time
3) use Bart and Milhouse at Springfield elem. every time
4) fill Kem and Moe’s pop slots with kids first, then crossover performers
5) fill Kem and Moe’s rock slots with rockers first, then crossover performers.
6) use whoever is left to fill pop stage…should be all crossovers
( I am always 1 short for now on the pop stage…when I win Hannah, she will go there)
If you don’t mix em up you don’t get to see all the songs
My towns glitching and not taking me to a fan when I click “do it” on the bonus donuts thing or the daily challenge tap fans thing. It takes me to a random section of my springfield with no fans. FOR days now. anyone else have tHat problem.
Only when there are no fans. Have you tried going to Krustyland?
Could the fans be hidden behind buildings or decorations? I’ve been taken to areas where there doesn’t seem to be any fans but that were hidden.
Yup, if you don’t see anyone, wait a few seconds and they will walk out into view. Or make the building invisible…that tends to make them active again. Also…when you tap the bonus icon, does a ‘no more fans’ message show up at the top of the screen?
Is anyone else having problems with the game Latey? I have had to download an update 5 times in the past two days. and the update is 1375 so it takes almost a half hour to download
So I watched the eclipse on tv yesterday and it was so emotional. I can only imagine what my Stateside tappers would have felt. I am very much looking forward to reading Patric’s post about it as Oregon featured so much on our news prior to it (I’m sure I saw him dancing at the Oregon Eclipse Festival☺️). Realise how lucky you all were to have witnessed such a beautiful, natural phenomenon……💜X
Well….I hate to be a spoilsport…but, we were still driving back from LA during the eclipse. We watched it from a McDonald’s near I-5…about 100 miles from the Oregon border. It was about 85% where we were…very cool with the glasses…but, not much without it, except for the cool crescent shadows from leaves infusing the eclipse sunlight. My youngest daughter, Maddy was in Portland which had about a 98% block out…which she said was amazing.
I am already planning to see the one in Texas in 2024. Saving my glasses and buying a sun filter for my camera!
According to the news, the glasses are only good for 3 years. I was in the path of totality, but it rained right before. It was too cloudy to see the sun during totality ;(
Me too…got totally rained out in Savannah…rained for 2 hours (during the eclipse) then cleared up at sundown…😫.

No body talking about the Eclipse? I only got partial eclipse where I live but it was around 3pm so I kept thinking of Mr. Burns saying “Ever see the sun set At THREE PM?”
I’m finding Act II a little less fun than Act I was… perhaps because I don’t have enough characters that play “pop” music. Hey, is it just me, or does the Kwik-E-Mart sometimes allow you to play rock music in Act II? It seems mostly pop, but I think I was able to send rock artists to jam there a couple of times during Act II. Is it just a random thing?
As it is, I have two pop venues that go completely unused because I don’t have enough performers that can play “pop”… although that will change shortly soon enough when I finally get the ability to send Weird Al to those venues.
Yes, the KEM and Moe’s are multi-purpose venues and will randomly be assigned to allow Rock sessions or Pop sessions. The Rock Stage and Simpsons House are always only for Rock sessions. The Pop Stage and Springfield Elementary are always only for Pop sessions.
So you may be asked to fill 4 Rock venues and 2 Pop venues, or 3 Rock venues and 3 Pop venues, or 2 Rock venues and 4 Pop venues; depending on what the KEM and Moe’s are randomly assigned to do.
Ok, after tapping fans a bit I have come to the conclusion that the fan who looks like Shaggy with the sandals and green shirt, khaki pants could be Miss Krabapel’s twin. JUST SAYING..lol

I agree. I’ve spent millions to use my Googolplex to go over on Ads, Awards, Yoga Mats, and now Lattes currency.
I have 439 furniture, 696 lattes (currently in my latte phase at Googolplex), 1001 Yoga Mats thanks to Googolplex, 843 Tablets and growing thanks to Spy Game, 836 Pills and growing thanks to Big Claw, 1001 Awards thanks to Googolplex, and 1001 Ads thanks to Googolplex. I was previously at 666 of everything but Furniture. I’d like to get to 1001 of everything but furniture now.
I had never used the Googolplex. All my money went into donuts. But now that I’ve got over 250 million, maybe it’s time.
250mil blows my mind! How? When I get to about 40 mil I spend about 10mil to farm rat trap trucks to yield around 100 doughnuts. Multiplier is around 460%. Just don’t understand how players can accumulate so much in game cash.
My multiplier is over 2100%, thanks in large part to mystery boxes. Because of that, I make around 15 million a day. It adds up fast.
Get your multiplier to 1500 to 2000
I forgot about most side adventures of this journey. Yah, I do the Rail thing and Maggie thing, but side tapping of the little hidden fun nuggets that accumulates resources went buried in buildings and brain dead attention. Thanks for the refresh.

How do you know what % is the multiplayer, and how do I increase it
If you click on the 5 star icon above your XP bar, you can see your bonus multiplier.
However, to calculate your actual bonus multiplier, including the hidden bonuses, see this post from 2013.

I put Ottos bus just outside of my summer jam park so he could jam out just outside the venue. Trying to get mooch Bart out there but when I store home he never reappears any place convient. Any ideas?
If you have the open air stage Mooch Bart performs on it…many other characters too. Might still be in concert mystery box.
my simpson house is by my concert area so i sent him on task to house & then when he was done he was ready to jam! i do this a lot- if there is no task building near where i want the character- i just make space to move the bldg. temporarily- when the task for character is done & comes out- move bldg. back. or if they have brown house task use an extra brown house.. send char on task there- move house where u want character- store the house and viola your character is where u want them!
Send him on his 24 hour task, then move the future Simpson home near the venue and store it. You can also use the Atomic Hula Hoop if you have it, I believe he has a 7 hour task to watch hula hoopers. Same deal, move near where you want him and then store the building.

I have earned all the friend prizes from visiting neighbors and now I get cash when I visit, but I am also earning donuts randomly when I tap in a friends town. Up to two a day in the 100 towns I visit daily. Some days I only earn one, but almost always two. When I get the free donut Homer says, “Mmmm Premium goodness” or something similar. Is anyone else out there been earning donuts like that? It’s pretty cool and has been helping my donut stash increase by about 12 a week
Yes, because I’m narcissistic, I’d like to point out I was the first to comment about this on this site way back in March 2014 as Bunny mentions in her post here from March 14 2014.
I think Homer is saying “Mmmmm, premium currency” when you win a donut. The average winnings are 2/day if you visit 60 or more neighbors, but I have won 4 occasionally and quite often win 3. There seems to be an increased chance for an extra donut if you don’t tap all 3 places (or fans) in a town, and then come back later and finish tapping. Don’t know why it works, but who am I to question an extra donut?😁

Seven? Wow!!! My best was six, and that too was in 2014. In 2016 and 2017, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten more than three.

I’m so bored and disappointed this event. Two of the most wanted characters ever, and they have boring tasks. Bleeding gums could have turned into a floating cloud head and played sax, Leon could have FRICKIN MOONWALKED, and instead they have weird tasks like hoarding decorative eggs and doing brickagami? Bleh. (I mean, it’s fine they have those tasks, but they should also have better ones.)
Also, no fun side games or puzzles for the event. They could have included a rhythm game or a daily riddle to send characters on the many possible music-related tasks we have. Those are the kinds of things that make events fun for me to play. Good character tasks are a big part of what makes the overall game interesting to me. This is just lackluster, and for the first time ever I’ve had to set an alarm to remind me to log in. I keep at it because I don’t want to miss out on something that might be cool for my town, but it saddens me how much this feels like a chore right now 😞
Yeah, I mentioned this a few days ago. It needs another element to the event to keep our interest.
As I said I like the concept of the festival but just needs a little spark to liven it up a bit.

You know, if Troy McClure ever gets added into the game, I want him to say, “Hi, I’m Troy McClure. You might remember me from such Simpsons episodes as ‘Disorder in the Court’, and ‘Who Shot Grampa’s Hat?'” Not only would it be a great use of Troy’s usual greeting, but it would reference the fake Simpsons episodes cited in “Behind the Laughter” and “Weekend at Burnsie’s”.
Something tells me he wouldn’t be voiced at all since Phil Hartman is no longer with us. Very soon after Marcia Wallace’s passing, EA removed Ms. Krabappel’s voice from the game. Sad, really. You would think it would be a great way to memorialize them.
This is incorrect. She was never voiced. The only characters that are voiced are from the big 6..

I must be doing something right…just got the plane!! I am a total freemium player, no extra characters to help out. I only tap 3-4 times a day. I’m really enjoying this event. Also easily cleared Act 1 with 3 days to spare, too.

Is anyone else having problems with the lawyers? I haven’t seen any in my town for a couple of days, even though I’ve had notifications that I’ve been served. So I just tested it and dropped some from my B game and they haven’t appeared. I miss them and their tiny little shiny bald heads ☹️ To my neighbours who have been dropping them faithfully, thank you, I am not ignoring you, I just can’t see them. Cheers, Myanmarnie

I got a quick notification and probably of you did, congratulating on the 5 years of STO, but absolutely no reward for it! EA! I have been playing this game since the very first day, I would have expected 10+ donuts per year would have been a nice bonus! A gesture of appreciation towards their players. Or at least some comemorative building or character that appeared in the 5th season. Anything would have been nice.
Are you sure your donut count didn’t go up by 5?
I have an idea for E.A… I would like to see the original mystery box change items, I know speaking for myself I have enough Lard Lad’s, vans, etc. I personally would like to see some of the crafting items I missed in other events that I don’t see returning example I missed the Simpson’s boat during the Terwelliger event. I would enjoy the opportunity to receive craftables I have and want more of, or missed. E.A. could add airport runway pieces, lights, small buildings, bleachers or even like the monster couch. I really would want items that after events are over you say man I wish I had more of whatever to finish or continue a design, and rotate them out cause there is a lot of items they could use instead of the same 4 or 5 things. I really think most people would agree anyways just a thought I don’t want to take up a long stretch of the post. Thx.

You haven’t played that much not to win Lard Lad. I got my first LL after 14 tries.
I think I’ve gotten over a hundred (at least but who can count, they came quite often before… something like every third day? but I don’t buy them… I’ve got alot of fences from it tho 😆)
They switched the payouts on mystery boxes. Spend 100 donuts you will either get fee donuts or LL
