I just want to thank EA for making it so you can do a free speedup on the stages after 3hrs 36 mins as it now means I can now collect during each of my scheduled work breaks 🙂 . I hope they put this feature in future events. As well as the extra free donuts.
I like it too. If you’re able to take advantage of it, it makes it easier to get an extra round of performances in.
Finished act 2 yesterday so now just sending characters for the sake building their stars up as well as for bonuts.
Bank holiday weekend means an afternoon out with my Vicar friend where we got to sit out in the glorious sunshine with a mixture of his mates and mine and copious amounts of alcohol. We might also have got slightly sunburnt…
Just one more week of holiday left and this weekend was my last chance to have some fun before I go back as I need to finish prepping for the new term for the rest of the week.

Can’t believe the images of all those thousands of people devastated by Harvey. I couldn’t fathom the heartache and fear that they must be going through. My thoughts are with all of you Texans, stay strong…..
I am watching it too. Total heartache. But bravo to so many neighbors and volunteers helping in the rescue efforts for those still stranded. The picture of nursing home patients in one room, in wheel chairs and walkers with water up to their chests, rips my heart out imagining the nightmare.

Are the writers of TSTO running out of ideas?? the quest line dialogue/storyline for Alaska Nebraska is so very similar to the Sexy Pirates dialogue!
I have played and collected SunGlasses folliwng this page Calendar…collecting 7.000+ SunGlasses per day..and finally,afetr so much work, I unlocked today Alaska in my Springfield <3 it is so cool to have that Hannah Montana persona on my simpsons game, since im a Hannah fan XD. I don’t think I will get the final prize. I have played every 4 hours or so, plenty of times a day, so it seems confusing. I think I may give up with events from now on, I don’t enjoy them any more.
I am with you on this and boy do I have game event fatigue….. I have been playing 4-5 times per day and I think I will come up short. I think partially because of visiting friends or lack of visiting friends. The hang time to visit friends and tap friends is unbearable and I don’t have 20 minutes extra to do this part of the task
There is not much about this event that is wowing me. I have all of the craftable prizes (meh) and nothing that has been given as far as characters is even slightly appealing to me. The stage was nice but I already had 3 with the Woodstock casino, the opera stage and the outdoor stage. Now I have two more.
I feel like I’m doing the event just to do it vs enjoying it. I seem to enjoy the mini events more maybe because they don’t run for 3 months (at least it feels like it’s been running that long)
I was going to get praiseland but now kind of like why bother?
This event has been lackluster for me. As have the last few. If they are going to revisit an event why not the fun/creepy first valentine event or the whacking day event? I realize this isn’t a true revisit but I feel like we have done this event before as parts of other events.
I hope act 3 is better but I am guessing we are going to get yet another stage and another assortment of D level characters.
20 minutes to tap friends? With this event and the full 101 neighboreenos, it takes me nearly a full hour to collect everything available daily. I try to get everything daily because I haven’t maxed out the friends points prize track.

I currently do the 10 neighbours for sunglasses, tickets and maybe lawyers. Actually 9 and SPF2, which is my alarm clock for the next day.
One day SPF2, then 9 to the right, other day SPF2, then 9 to the left (no one being not yet ready to tap then)… a chore, annoying, slow.
In eventless times I visit every 101 friends for the money and to look for goof ideas. Few second for each of them.
Just my opinion but if BGM as a character doesn’t appeal, I don’t know what TSTO still has to offer ya..

Sending characters to jam every 4 hours and tapping the collecting the sunglasses should have been enough to complete and lawers
I had no Premium characters and still finished a couple days ahead. You only have to visit 10 friends once a day. If you have more and if you don’t find them quick go to the next neighbor. Did you drop lawyers? Over the event that could by easily be a couple of thousand, especially your neighbors return the favor. Don’t have a good neighbor? Start a second game to drop to. Did you try to go for 1500 instead of 1000 on the daily challenge? Did you try to go 23 minutes early on the 4 hour clock to get a few more chances at the stages?
……..sitting in a dark theatre having what is known as a 10 out of 12…….connectivity is spotty………………sigh…………..yawn…..tap…………………repeat………
Some audience beside you or behind you may be blinded by your device. Going to a cinema is not so fun these days with these technological distractions
LOL, I’m an actor and in tech rehearsal for a show. We started at 10 am and go till ten tonight, 3 more hours……..This morning it took 4.5 hours to tech 2 minutes of the show, it evolved 8 light cues, 6 sound cues and other effects. This is known as “hell week” a lot of actors dread it but I think there kind of fun, sometimes.

I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on Camp Krusty which is in my vault this week. I have the donuts, but I’m still on the fence. Thanks.
Camp Krusty is in my vault as well, but I’ll pass. I have Bart earning premium in the Bartman skin already and the vault is just a 25% discount. I may consider it for a higher discount another time, since it’a a classic item.
It really depends on your donut situation. It’s still pretty expensive for a building and skin but they are classics, if that appeals to you. It did for me, so while it might not be the best donut purchase, it was one I was happy to make. 🙂

Classic, decent Discount, fit well in my “Parks” or “wildernesses ” district.
And it was on my ‘B’ list.
I love Kamp Krusty! 🤡 It’s a favorite in my Springfield… made a few small additions and then put it next to the Lake and the Country Club (just to annoy the golfers). 😁

I like Kamp Krusty. I have it in my kids camp area in my town with the Big Redwood and the Waterslide tree. Also the Eliminator is there. I also like Bart’s tasks at the camp.

Just got Alaska last night, so that’s act 2 over with. Bring on act 3!
This weekend I was thinking of the next mini event, and was watching the Lisa’s Substitute episode, and it got me thinking of all the substitute teachers they could add, Mr Bergstrom, Ms Cantwell, Zachary Vaughn, Ms Berrera, Jack Lasson etc. There are building’s they could add too, Sub Teacher of the Year Foundation, Teacher’s Holding Facility, decorations: Ms Cantwell’s Car; and she could have an animated task getting mud on Lisa in her car, even Blazing Guy, with the Blazing Guy skin for Jack Lasson.. That’s just substitute teacher related stuff, and it would make a cool mini event imo. 😀
I would love to see Jack lasson back in the show purely for 2 reasons
1. It’s Willem defoe
2. That kinda tease of a potential sequel episode they did with him meeting sideshow bob and wanting to team up against Bart.

After the Homerpalooza Event is over looks like I may need to remove my neighbors that seem to have stopped playing. I don’t know if it’s a bug but when I visit other neighbor’s towns they have no score under their name. Sometimes I gauge where I’m at during the event by seeing how far along other tappers are. Yesterday I bought Disco Stu. He was was discounted at 75 doughnuts. 105 doughnuts seemed like a great deal for a building/ character combo. I wish we would get those videos we used to get a long time ago like when we unlocked Bart or Marge. I wonder why EA stopped doing that?
If they have zeros, they probably are not playing any more. You can note their screen names and then, in the friends list, tap on them to see how long ago they last played.
Personally, once it gets beyond 6 weeks, they become candidates for being replaced.

So the Minnesota Twins won the game on Friday. The Blue Jays barely won yesterday. Today’s “rubber match” determines who wins the series.
I thought the Twins were going to pull off the comeback…then Osuna snagged Mauer’s ground ball for that double play. Still, an exciting game!

I started Act 2 late, 4 1/2 days late (had gall bladder surgery, and no access to TSTO while in the hospital)!!! After a lot of tapping this past week, this morning I earned Alaska Nebraska!
I like events where even though you might start off late or slow, there’s still the chance of earning everything on the prize track before the time runs out.
I hope you’re feeling better. Keep in mind you can always go back to the Act 2 tab and purchase what you missed with doughnuts. If you got Alaska Nebraska sounds like you’re good for Act 3 to start.

I’ve been watching Hurricane Harvey on CNN this weekend. Really hope that all tappers in Texas are safe & sound because it has been extreme weather indeed! The sheer amount of rain alone is staggering, never mind also having to cope with hurricane winds and tornadoes. And it’s not over yet… Stay safe, tappers! 👍
Thank you for the kind words and support last week – really appreciate it. Wasn’t an easy week but gets a little better each day – spending time with my other furry kids certainly helps!
Had to keep tapping to the bare minimum for a couple of days last week due to a power outage. It went off just after 5pm on Thursday and was only back at 2am on Saturday morning! & was then off for another hour or two on Saturday afternoon for extra repairs but at least it was back in time to watch SA beat the Pumas 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦. Fortunately I have some backup deep cycle car batteries so was able to keep my devices going but had to ration my use of them as I didn’t know how long it would be off. Add to that my service provider being down for a couple of hours in my area on Monday and it was an interesting week… 😄
Getting ready for Act 3 starting on Tuesday morning (for us in Africa). Still dropping lawyers for those neighbours who are down to the wire in getting the last prize but I am hoarding Daily Challenges for a little bit of a jump start… Interesting to see the results of the Blogivessary survey – thanks for all the hard work – as always! Those of us playing from Africa (Dwerg, D3M0N_HUNT3R, etc) are going to have to do some serious recruiting so that we can represent next year!
