It looks like they spawn 1/18 minutes. Max of 20 in Springfield, bank of 60.
Important Note: Info I put in the post about banks etc is just from the files, it’s not verified in-game. It could be that it’s not supposed to work and I just don’t see the line of coding saying it.
Tip for tapping them quickly, because they are hard to find….
Tap the Robot Icon in the top Right Corner, it’ll take you right to them in your town….
Crafting
Crafting unlocks at Part 6 of The Invasion Is Snow Joke. And the “hub” for crafting is…
Jesus’ Carpentry Shop- Free, 4×6
Crafting currency, which can be earned via tapping Funzos, is 2x4s.
Actually not a ton of Craftables, and some of them are fairly decent. While I would have preferred Crafting to be gone altogether, I do think this is nice.
Again, there are levels you’ll need to move up to unlock all of the items.

Wrapping paper (earned by tapping Funzos) fuels the machine.
If you win 6 times you’ll unlock a special Mystery Box. Each round takes 15 Wrapping Paper. 
Basically, this is like the Sci-Fi robot battle (Poly Vac)…although there’s a Mystery Box after 6. So that’s fun.
There is no cool down period from what I can see, if you have 15 wrapping paper you can keep going.

I need clarification on the bank.
1 funzo every 18 minutes with a maximum of 20 is a 6 hour cycle at which you must begin clearing out the funzos. (18 * 20)/60 = 6
Do we agree on the math?
Does the bank of 60 invalidate that? Please clarify. Many thanks.
I missed Wednesday, and went from 42 giftwrap to 123, so 1 spawned, 20 in town and 60 banked adds up.
Put simply, 24 hours worth, then no more till you tap ( as you said, 20 is 6 hours worth )

Anyone else bothered by the 8-branched snowflakes on the splashscreen? Snow only assembles into 6-arm arrangements. Granted I am a science geek, but still!
No, you’re not the only one. On top of that I’m also heavyly bothered by the fact that there are several lookalikes. Guess I am a geek too. 😂
Rigellian snow, perhaps not frozen water?
True — but the easy way to do those paper snowflake tree ornaments, which most of us have probably all made at one point or another in our childhood, was always to fold the a square piece of paper in half three times, cut some random shapes out, and unfold. So while it’s not *scientifically* accurate, it’s still a pretty common sight during the Christmas season.
I had to uninstall and reinstall to get my game updated last nite on iOS

No wonder EA is the most hated Tech company. I can just hear their board room

Gambling? What gambling??
Looks to be a great event. But…
The Funzo “bank” is not working in the games in our household. If this is the key way that we earn currency then how do we either get it to work or get EA to fix it?
As a note, I recall something similar happening in a prior event.
Seeing snow in my little Springfield made my day. Looking forward to this event.
My Jesus Carpenter shop goes directly to Praiseland. Fits really nice there.
Funny, my iPhone has the update. My iPad says it needs it but doesn’t give the option in the appstore. It looks like it thinks it’s already updated. Ah well, maybe tomorrow or later in the day it will work itself out.(I hope)
The App Store seems to be slow at making updates available lately. Something will appear and say that it’s been available for 3 days. If you use the search facility and search for Tapped Out you will see the new version (4.30.0) but it still won’t appear on the update page (on my iPad).
I had to delete the game and reload it to get the new event.
While uninstalling an reinstalling will definitely work, next time, try dragging down on the screen when you’re on the update page, first. That refreshes the update list. I read about that in comments for the last event and tried it for this one and it worked like a charm! Saved me the loads of time it takes to reinstall the whole game. 🙂
The update appeared later. Quess I was just impatient, who would have thought.. 😉
I am happy with this event. Prizes and craftables are mostly really cute (and they are not just recycled stuff), ice tiles are awesome and I am excited to get Santa and Jesus. After the terrible Halloween event, I am glad that EA got it together again. Nice!
Halloween lost me a bit, but this is an event i fully endorse. How Nightmarish Before Christmas of them. Love the new prizes, craftables, and once Alissa posts the S.I.B , then I will love the premium items as well.😉

I think we missed a gift horse here – we’ll, a regifting horse. I was hoping the regifting gun would allow me to jettison some of my inventory stockpile
However, loving this update so far.

If we can have 20+60 Fonzos in our Springfields @ an 18 minute rate, this could mean that we could have 24 hours without login?!!
(80*18 =1,440
1440/ 60 = 24, quick maths)
Since I am also not seeing any 4h grind-jobs, this could be a relaxing and rewarding experience at the same time!

Hi, The update was available for my iPhone 6s at 5:30am this morning in the uk 🇬🇧. Maybe try the delete and reload option? Good luck 😉
It finally arrived after getting back from shops, so must have been around 10.
I thought about deleting, but didn’t want to lose out on chores etc.
All is good now except that I’m a good day behind on my calendar.

Do you have a pic of the Rigellian North Pole with good resolution? I want to check on its details in order to decide if it could be implemented in a non-Christmas, yet traditional section (Hogsmeade). 🙂
The Gingerbread House is a returning item, correct? I already have one, it looks very similar but I’m not sure.
The craftable Gingerbread House is new.
Started the new event, and I like it so far. The snow is always a plus, and the Rigellian Christmas thing is a really good idea. Reminds me a bit of Nightmare Before Christmas, one of my all time favourite animated movies.
The only annoying bit so far is finding funzos to tap in your friends’ towns. Takes me forever, not sure if I am willing to keep that up…
There’s an icon in the upper right that will take you right to them. Just wish they had the same icon when I visit my neighbor’s towns!

Anyone have issues with holiday scratch-r tickets?
Bought one and got a 300 prize but when I logged back in to tap my monorail people they had dissapeared. Submitted ticket to EA, anyone had this happen before? How did you resolve the issue? Help me out!
It happened to me last event (Halloween). I submitted the ticket, and I was asked to show the proof of my purchase. In 2-3 days I was refunded the exact quantity of donuts I was missing (in my case, 100).
Thats reassuring! They responded rather promptly with a very mistrusting tone. 3 emails later we got the proof of purchase and I guess now it’s a waiting game.

I had the same thing happen. Took back my 300 donuts and said it was never charged to my account. Funny how it has never happened before.
Looking at upcoming content is getting me so excited!! Everything looks so good – thank you EA! It makes me wonder whether it’s coincidence that quite a bit of content for this event was mentioned in my guest post! Very Happy Tapper 😊

Ack – parts for the north pole monorail station that I specifically didn’t buy because it didn’t have matching bits. And no north pole monorail to buy. How rude.
If you don’t have the North Pole Station, you get a bundle with the station and the accessory bits for 100 Donuts (160 with a 60 donut rebate).

This download is a BEAST. I had to clear a couple things off my iPad to get it running. Someday, my iPad will be fully devoted to just this game.
