Next Event Quick Spoilers!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

As you may have saw from my post earlier, EA sent out the event packet to us  earlier today…and shortly after sending it said “hey it’s ok to talk about it!”.  Which of course, none of us were prepared for! (I’m still at work!)

So, I will be doing a very quick spoiler video tonight…likely without Safi unfortunately (he’s at the Blue Jays Home opener)…with all of the detailed info we generally bring you in a spoiler video.  BUT I know some of you don’t want to wait until tonight.  So what I’ve opted to do is just some quick fact cards for you guys, without my usual details, so I can get it up for you quickly!  (this of you who watch our spoiler videos will be familiar with these fact cards!)

This event starts on April 13th, Wednesday, with the App Store Download available on April 12th, Tuesday.

Oh and a note…yes, some folks are currently experiencing an outage in their game.  It is not impacting everyone.  My best advice is to contact EA if you’re experiencing an outage.    

So for those of you who want to know keep on going…for those of you that don’t want to be spoiled…STOP HERE!

Next TSTO Event

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Well, EA sent us the spoiler packet earlier today (about 2 hours ago)..and then decided to catch us completely off guard and allow us to release info on it pretty much immediately.  (thanks for the (what feels like) 50-second heads up… 🤦‍♀️)

Honestly, I haven’t gone through the packet yet because I’ve been busy at work…trying to catch up after being out sick for most of the week.  But I’ll take a look and see what I can put together for you. Here are a couple of minor details (ie the Splash Screen)…

This one has cars, cars, and more cars!  So get ready!

On and it doesn’t start until April 12th…next Wednesday.  So you have plenty of time.

I’ll be back when I can, basically when I have more than 5 minutes to write, with some spoilers…

Snow PSA

Update #2: Update is available via the App store.  It’s entitled New Years 2022, so we’ll see what’s in store for us.  And apparently, EA has decided not to remove the snow with this update.  Go figure.  If I hadn’t given the warning the snow would be gone…seriously can’t predict what they’re going to do.

Update:  And just like that there’s an update in the files…should be hitting app stores soon.  So capture those snow pictures while you can!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

Just a friendly PSA reminder that the snow should be leaving our Springfields very soon…likely today.  The next app store update, which hasn’t hit yet…but I expect it to hit today…should remove the snow from your Springfield.

So if you want to preserve how your town looks covered in the white stuff grab all the screenshots you can now! And feel free to share them with your fellow tappers in the comments below!  One last goodbye to snow as we prepare to welcome the green grass in once again!

I’ll be back if/when an update hits our app stores!  For now enjoy the snow while it’s still around!

New Update Available via App Store

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

The next update in TSTO, Valentine’s Day, has hit our app stores! So be sure to head to your app store and download the latest event!

This update will remove the snow from Springfield, and prep your game for the Love and War event which will launch TOMORROW (February 3rd).  I posted some spoilers earlier, so you can check those out here.

Remember, if you don’t see it listed in your updates you may have to search your app store for Tapped Out to find the update.  Just make sure you update before it launches tomorrow morning (9am ET).

Oh and for those worried, because I posted the spoilers in video format…don’t worry!  This site will remain what you know and love.  As soon as the update goes live we’ll have a rundown post up (in post format, not video) with all the details for Act 1.  🙂
