It’s time for Act 2 of the battle for Christmas! Yes, Act 2 descended upon our games early this morning & with it dropped a whole new crazy questline to work your way through. (Note…the dialogue is REALLY funny with this. Slow down, take your time & read it. It’s great)
For Act 2 of Christmas, you’re tasked with assembling the B.S. League to destroy the Aliens once and for all…and of course you’ll get a certain big guy and red to help!
As was mentioned on the run down post Act 2 of Christmas runs until January 2nd (when the whole event ends), and you’ll need Kang and Kodos to get things started
Don’t forget the Questline will help you get some bonus prize currency…so make sure you complete it to earn that extra currency…also the questline is there to guide you. So don’t skip it, otherwise you’ll be stuck! Questline=event progression. So don’t forget about it.
Now let’s work our way through the battle frenzy of the Act 2 questline….
This questline is going to take you to the B.S. League Battles & unlocking Santa. You’ll only be able to battle 7 times…no more. Once you finish the battle questline that part is over. Beyond that you’ll earn event currency via the same way you did in Act 1….Funzo tapping and Re-Gifter game (As well as Daily Challenges)

I saw the elf from last year in my town.. any idea what that’s about??
I need advise! Since Act 2 my game logs out, requires me to log in, then downloads for FOUR hours. Anyone having same problem?
That’s usually a symptom that you need to make more room on your device. Try deleting or uploading to the cloud a bunch of photos and any large unused apps and clearing your cache. You may also want to do a complete uninstall/reinstall after that.
Haven’t had a chance to even play act 2 yet – it’s making me download a 1GB update everytime I try to log in at the moment. I just don’t have that kind of data available.

So far the dialog is great, the prizes are decent, even some of the premium items are worth using donuts as well as my money. I think they are making up for the crappy magic story line. Not for nothing and i don’t mean to getting off any and all other intelligent and interesting comments, but EA: it would be cool if some of these “NP” characters could do something along with what they are already doing… like…. the ice skaters skating, tap on one or more of them and they fall. To me it’s little things like that to always keep me playing and I bet the addicts out there could come up with some cool ideas unless they already have and I don’t read/comment at all😁….. just saying.
This is a nice no every 4 hour pressure event…love it.
I did notice one possible……… glitch?….or not. If a robot fuznos is sucking on a brain, I can clear it by tapping on it. But if one is sucking on a brain and I send that character to an inside task, I cannot clear the sucking fuznos while they walk to the building w a task. Then when I use the robot find button it goes to that building and won’t find any other fuznos wandering around town till that character getting his brain sucked on is completed with his indoors task.
It’s not a major thing, just an observation……and a lesson to clear all brain sucking fuznos before mass assigning tasks wither the employment office.

Had the same problem. What does work is: send the building to your inventory. This ends the task. Put the building back, and then tap the funzo. Then just send the character on his task again.
But it is a stupid glitch though.
It’s not a glitch – the questline explains it. There are two ways to clear that Funzo…you can wait until the character finishes his/her task OR you can find that character in the Town Hall list and select Go To. That will also free the Funzo, without taking the character out of the task.

Just a helpful hint…. Clear the Funzos before you assign people to tasks, because in this Act they attach to people. They’re not easy to clear if your person is in a building at the time. So if you can’t find your Funzo, it’s probably attached to a person on a task.
My issue now is I seem to be stuck on one Funzo that is invisible I guess. If I tap the funzo in the upper right it goes to the same spot over and over but there’s no funzo there. All I get is the building, I’ve closed the app repeatedly but it doesn’t work. If I transparency tbe buildings nothing is there,
It’s attached to a character that’s in that building. Just look in Town Hall and find the character who’s “hypnotized” from among the characters in that building. Once you tap to go to them (from Town Hall), it will release the Funzo attached to that character.

Getting an odd bug. When I’ve cleared all of the Funzos, clicking the icon to track them focuses on a random part of my Springfield but doesn’t give the warning that I have cleared therm all.
I’m assuming it is happening once I have cleared them all. It’s odd.

Much easier to just wait an extra 5 minutes after you collect all your tasks and tap the funzos before starting new tasks when you have tons of characters.
Does anyone else’s game constantly need updating? I’m lucky if mine goes a day without needing to do a big update, and I have to log in every time and wait. Last time this happened it took over 30 minutes. This has been happening since before the Christmas event, it’s really frustrating and I’m thinking of deleting the game altogether. Does anyone know why this could be happening?
I’ve seen other players state it is because they dont have enough free space on their device. They stated one they freed up enough space the issue went away.
I used to have the same problem when I was at my storage limit. If I was close my iPhone would automatically get rid of the tapped out content to make room. Since I went from 16gb to 64gb it hasn’t happened since. It was very frustrating because it would take half an hour for mine to download too.

So it’s not necessary to buy Lisa and Bart’s Elf Costumes or Christmas Tree Ralph to earn event currency. I’m interested in getting Brother Faith and Rabbi Krustovski. They appear to be the better buy for the long term. What will the costumes of Bart and Lisa offer after the event?
Nothing but a skin. BUT HERE’S A HEADS UP…you don’t need ANY of them to complete the update. The targets are easy to hit, just by doing the regular clearing of your town and the daily tasks.
So I guess I didn’t need to sandbag a bunch of wrapping paper in order to get a jumpstart on act 2? Oh well!

Hard to say, Silly. Regional routers are weird things. Again…I haven’t had any issues, but could be in a sector that is south of you. I may just be close enough to be on another router. We have loads of national clients…and sometimes outages are in the weirdest sectors, which don’t make sense on a map.
I have 2 games on 2 different tablets. The one on my fire tablet worked fine but my android didn’t. Both only use WiFi and they are 2 feet away from each other. Weird!

this is a great event – the dialogue is fantastic & it’s so nice not having to log in every 4 hours. there’s so much going on this time of year that it’s nice to relax & enjoy the game. only problem I’m having is I can’t find otto in the store in my b game. I’ve scrolled thru inventory every way I can think of. I’m on level 38. thank you for all your help!
