Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!
Popping in real quick with a couple of tips for Act 1 of Bart Royale. And yes this list of tips will include those characters that have a task at the Mega Playscape & can earn you event currency.
So let’s get to it….
Who can Fortify? Who can Assault? aka who earns event currency…
So the Adults Fortify, the Kids Assault, here’s the list for act 1:
As of today, 1/25/18….this will change as the event progresses
Fortify (Adults)
Homer
Moe
Cletus
Krusty
Willie
Pyro (Act 1 prize track, last prize)
Hellfish Grampa (Premium)
Hellfish Burns (Premium)
Crazy Iguana Lady (Premium)
Assault (Kids)
Nelson
Ralph
Bart
Milhouse
Martin
Wendell (Premium)
Erik (Premium)
The kids have an animated Assault task for Act 1, the Adults do not.
Finding Tappables
The tappables gravitate to the Mega Playscape when your Springfield is open. So just leave your town open for a little while and you’ll be able to clear them all pretty quickly.
And yes, there is a message that will appear that says when you’ve cleared them all.
Also if you’re daily task is to clear them you can tap the “Do It” button there to find them.
Defensive Bonus
A full post on this will be up, likely next week, but you’ll want to focus on increasing your defensive bonus, not only for the questline but to help you move through the prize track.
Craftables will increase your bonus, as long as they’re in the zone. So focus on leveling up your crafting, but also craft items that make sense for the bonus. (for example it’s better to craft trenches for 100 scraps and 0.50% bonus, then it is to craft fences for 75 scraps and a 0.25% bonus. Look at the craftables as you increase your levels to see what gives the most bonus for the number of scraps that make sense)
Your max defensive bonus for Act 1 is 20%.
Falling Behind the Calendar Early
Don’t worry about it. This event is designed so you earn more currency as you progress. So you may be a day or two behind right now, but as long as you continue to increase your defensive bonus and send your characters frequently in another couple of days you’ll be ahead of the calendar.
So don’t sweat it! It starts out slow for many players…it’s designed that way. By this time next week you’ll all be telling me how easy it was.
Again the tricks to earning event currency: increase defensive bonus and log in every 4hrs to send/clear characters and tappables.
And that’s it my friends, a few quick tips to keep you rolling with this event!
Do you have any other tips you can recommend to your fellow tappers? Sound off below, you know we love hearing from you!

Be sure to put the bare butt Bart statue in the bonus area (when you earn it), as it has a defensive bonus% attached to it.
This is great advice, I thought it would be like any other decoration, but you are totally right. put it in your defensive area and you get the extra .5% bonus.
Excellent tip! Thanks.
Kinda glad to see Lisa taking a backseat during an event for once. It seems like all the events lately have been Lisa and Homer. I like the change up with Bart leading an event!
Only one square of an item’s footprint has to be in the bonus area to get full credit for that item, so it’s OK to ‘let the seams out’ a bit. I’m making a trench around mine, leaving a 2 square gap for aesthetics and for other items I pick up later.
I installed the update today.25-januari in my country. Is it still possible to get all prices for act 1?
Or do you have some other tips for me. I have 4500 event currenty after more than a half day.
I also have 300 donuts but i want to save them if possible
Thanks
Yes it is, lucky for you this event causes your prize track currency to grow exponentially as the event goes along, so there is still time to get all the prizes in act one
I think you can do it 🙂 it will take some persistence, but it is early in the act, so you should be able to make it up.
Like bobq said, this event will pick up steam as it goes.
for now increase your duff beer% as much as you can. put the bart statue in your defensive area for a little boost when you get him. and remember you only have to put one square of a decoration in the blue squares to get the bonus. visit your 10 neighbors daily and try and hit your 4 hour interval as much as possible.
Succes!
Looks like a patch came through and now I have a zombie dog and zombie collection! Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains!
Yeah, they pulled those all out of inventory. not sure why yet, but I’ll leave them there for now. (initially I thought they would increase a bonus somewhere, but that didn’t happen)
Was wondering why the Zombie Dog was pulled out of storage after the update 🤷♀️. Got credit ($2000) for completing the set all over again, tho, so no complaints there. Just re-stored him and moved on.
Yes! I am loving this update. The color is back in town, and it’s a bit different than what has become the usual. Halloween, and Christmas were a bummer.
I have a ton of donuts saved up, so I got the Hellfish, and Wendell, and I’m ready to kick this event’s butt! Also, the bad guys are easy to spot and tap.
Battle Dome earns 5 scraps every 4 hours.
Yes. That’s on the rundown post
I just had an in-game update, and when Springfield loaded, my screen automatically zoomed to the Snarling Dog (which I had stored in my inventory). Do you know what’s up with this?
The same thing happened to me and it appeared near the Pet Cemetery. I think it fixed the bug for the Snarling Zombie and Clawing Zombie in which they did not appear with the Pet Cemetery in the Mystery Box when bought.
I got the same update but I don’t know what happened, it was very small, perhaps a bug fix?
As there is a limit of 30. I would say tap them every 4 hours. Plus you can upgrade your bonus quicker with crafting as soon as you hit the number of crap. It’s done quite quickly though.
Is it better to clear the tappables every 4 hours or is it better to do it once a day?
4 hours. They max spawn more than once a day. They are much easier to see than previous tapables and they move fairly quickly to the military zone aka Mega Playscape
The more often you do it, the more possible to generate, plus use can use the currency to craft items to increase your bonus Duff beers % faster.
The more your log into your game, the more money, XP and “event currency” you’ll earn…
Thanks for answering my question everyone.
I have one game (my Test game) where the Tappables get stuck among tightly packed items. I had to search for them using the select tool highlighting everything but the people.
What is Pat wearing on his head??? 🤣
German WWI helmet… LOL!
🤣🤣🤣
Created a trench corner but don’t see the blue zone in move mode. Why don’t I see the bonus area?
It should be the two squares immediately surrounding play fort. When you put your corner piece over the area, you should see a .5% pop up over the fort where it says Duff Bonus Beers.”
You can try placing it as close to the fort as you can, until it turns red and won’t let you.
This update looks great… Mad Max with an event currency bonus percent for the math nerds. Now we get scrap and donut to beer bonus ratios… Safi, I think they made this for you. 🙂 Love the new banner art, by the way!
Any idea why I cannot find any tappables in my Springfield or my friends??
I’m hoping when I unlock the sky light it has % bonus and I can use the 50 I have in storage from homerpolazza event!! Fingers crossed
I don’t mean to disappoint you but the Skylight sadly does not have any bonus percentages with them since they are craftable again. Unless EA decides to add the Skylights to the store for donuts (probably around 2-10 donuts for a small item) in the future then they could get a small bonus percentage or EA could release this again but have 2 different versions (craftable version from Homerpalooza without bonus % & premium verson costing donuts with bonus %). On the bright side, with those 50 Skylights you have one less item to craft and can focus more on saving up for the expensive crafting items like the Damaged Court House and the Horse Drawn SUV.
Once you earn the bare bronze prize (bart statue). Put him in your zone. He counts for a .5% bonus.
Another tip is that you don’t need to put the entire craftable in the blue ring. As long as one square is there, it’ll give you the bonus!
And with that, the fences become even more useless! Thanks!
Apologies if this has been covered. When I craft and Scrap City upgrades, the item I crafted disappeared and I can’t find it in the inventory. Is anybody else having this problem?
I had the same problem with the first trench I created
You can also find tappables by using the crafting menu as long as you don’t press it when you have enough parts to level up it will come up saying not enough currency click do it and your screen will jump to where one of the tappables is.
Is there any particular strategy to crafting as I’m not sure if I should get more trenches now for 100 and 0.50% bonus or just save longer and get the playscape lookout for 150 with 0.75% bonus
Never mind on that second part I missed part of the post at first because of an ad
It’s the same ratio of Scap to bonus %…so it doesn’t matter which one.
You never mention you can also find tappables in any event from the crafting menu with the same “do it” method. You just can’t have more than the required amount to level up crafting. Until max level you never do anyway.
Thanks Alissa!! Have a lovely day!! : )
I have a feeling the blue zone will expand in the next act. Maximum bonus at the moment is 20% but you only need to place one tiny corner in there to get the bonus… not the whole thing. Just thought it might help those designing their areas.
Also Barts golden bum gives a bonus when you win it 😊
The Battle Dome gives you 5 scraps every 4 hours.
The prep school has a rebate that is 5 donuts better in the event menu, as opposed to the Vault menu.
Vault: 180 with a 45 donut rebate
Event menu: 180 with a 50 donut rebate
Thank you 😊 I was considering buying her so this helps my decision 😊
Great post, always worry at the start of an event, thanks
Thanks for the tip about paying attention to the bonus percentages when crafting….that just occurred to me this morning, but only after I crafted three fences (because I needed to spend an even multiple of 75 to get to the next crafting level, which has the tower we need to satisfy the event questline requirement). I’ll pay more attention to that in the future (especially since I anticipate storing most of those items after the event, sounds I’m not a fan of this event’s theme).
Thanks Alissia, I can only purchase land with tokens, where before it was currency, is this now the norm or a glitxh?
I covered this yesterday

Thanks for the tips, Oh mother of the wee addict
Thank you for the piece of mind Alissa =)
Sorry, Alissa, I can’t afford to give you a piece of MY mind.
