Where Did THAT Come From – Erik and the Dodgeball Court

In our silly lil game, we sometimes see things pop in that we have no clue as to their Origin. They seem familiar, but we just can’t pinpoint from where. So that is why we decided to make a fun lil reminder out of it. To let you know just Where Did THAT Come From?

It’s Bart Royale time here in all of our tiny tappable towns and this dodgeball fanatic Super Safi could not be more thrilled to dodge, duck, dip, dive, or dodge.

It’s time for one of my favorite parts of being a reader here at this amazing site. That’s right… new stuff for us to talk about just WHERE it all comes from in the Best. Show. Ever. I’m always a fan of new things even though a lot of the coolest things cost precious sprinklies. The 2018 Bart Royale Event started with a battle between the kids and adults of Springfield. And when you think of battling, you have to think of dodgeball. And when you think of dodgeball in Springfield, you think of Erik. It’s always a pleasure to re-watch episodes of the Best. Show. Ever. For this round of origins, we’ll be taking a look at Erik and the dodgeball court:

Showoff Announcement: Bart Royale 2018

Addicts Live Housekeeping: Hey guys…just an FYI we’re going to stay on our regular Addicts Live schedule, which means Addicts Live will be Next Saturday…the 10th.  I’ll have a post up this Saturday as a reminder but just wanted to let everyone know quickly what the plan is.  Thanks!

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time…calling all Springfield designs of OutlandsProportions!  We’re getting ready to do the first Springfield Showoff of 2018 featuring your Bart Royale inspired designs!  So prep those towns…because we want to see what you’ve done with your Springfield!

We’re about a week away from the end of Bart Royale so it’s time to show us what you’ve done, because who doesn’t like seeing what others have done with all this new stuff!   So send us your Outlands/Ruffian inspired designs and we’ll be putting up the Showoff post, featuring your designs, on WEDNESDAY MARCH 7th, 2018…so you’ve got a full week, including a weekend, to prep your towns.  Take your time and design as you see fit! 🙂

So grab some screenshots of your town, or finish up those designs…just make sure to send your submissions in by about 8pm ET Tuesday, March 6th, 2018.  Can’t wait to see what YOU have come up with.

You can send your designs in two ways…either post a link to the image in the comments on this post or you can email them to us at TSTOAddictsblog@gmail.com.  We won’t be pulling images from anywhere else, so please if you want to be featured either submit in the comments below or email your images to us.

Note: PLEASE try to limit your submissions to only 1-2 of your favorite screenshots.  We like to try and let everyone showoff their town but it becomes difficult when some of you are sending in 7-10 images.  Pick your favorite areas and send them in (or if you stitch photos together, that works too).  We’ll try our best to get EVERYONE in, but please understand that sometimes we miss a photo or two.  If we miss you one week, we’ll try really hard to make sure we get you in the next week.  You’re always welcome to showoff your town, at any time, on our Flickr page.  We know a lot of you have awesome towns that you want to show off, but please try to stick with this week’s theme.  Remember, this isn’t a contest.  There’s nothing to win.  It’s just a fun way to showoff your town and get some design inspiration from your fellow Addicts.  🙂

Bart Royale Prize Guide: Act 3, Prize 4 Emperor Moe

Looks like we’ve got ourselves a Mad Max tribute on our hands! Bart Royale has found its way into our pocket sized Springfields! This apocalyptic event hit our devices and it’s full of Homergeddon inspired decorations, buildings & characters!

This Event is broken up into 3 Acts, with each Act containing part of the story.  To help you move along with the event you’ll get several prizes per Act. Each prize will either be something fun for Springfield or something to help you move along in the event.  For the Third Act you’re tasked with collecting Gas Cans () to unlock each prize!

The fourth Act 3 prize awarded at 36,300  is the Emperor Moe skin, because sometimes you just wanna have a bartender in a bathrobe bossing you around!

So let’s take a closer look at this fourth prize and just what happens when you unlock it in your Springfield…

Hey Howdy Hey Tappers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for the Addicts Weekly Open Thread!  So, let’s get the conversation going!  Oh and remember…just because this is posted here today doesn’t mean you can’t comment on it all week long.  This open thread will still be open for comments long after today is over!

Here’s where you can talk about anything you want to talk about…TSTO Related, Simpson’s Related or ANYTHING.  Just no Add me requests…those should go here.  We’ll give you a few suggestions (like most Sunday’s you can talk about the current episode of the Simpsons) but for the most part you’re free to talk about ANYTHING your little Tapping Fingers desire…just keep it PG.

Still no new Simpsons this week…we’re on a long hiatus from our favorite yellow family.  How are you managing the Simpson withdrawals? (still a few more weeks till their back!)

Act 3 of Bart Royale hits this week, how are you doing with the prize track?

Now that the Olympics are over, did you check them out?  How’d your country do?
