As we all know, that limited-time label can tempt us to grab everything in sight because it’ll be gone soon. But don’t sweat it! That’s where we come in to tell you what’s worth those donuts and what you might want to hold off on.
Wondering if you should add Wendell and Zip Zap and ‘Za to your Springfield? Well before you hit that confirm button let’s break down the pros and cons of adding this bucket carrying kiddo to your town…

Premium or Freemium:
It’s Wendell. It doesn’t get much more classic Simpsons than Wendell. Buy him for the nostaliga alone. The fact that he helps with the event is an added bonus…it’s Wendell. How can you not have him?
Of course, in the end, it’s your decision, we can only tell you what we would or wouldn’t do…and as I premium player, I already picked him up. But whatever you decide, just make sure you make your final decision before it leaves our games for good (or for now). Also, this is one of those items that will help you earn more currency…so the earlier you pick it up the more beneficial it is to you. So try to make your final decision before this weekend…so that it’ll help you the most.

The Battlescape playship goes really well with Zip Zap and ‘Za…makes a nice addition to the playground area.

That looks fantastic. Great use of fences from other events; a valuable reminder to get this stuff while we can because it may come in useful “one day”.
Thanks, Charlotte…I plan on getting at least 30 more fence pieces during this event. Have never regretted stockpiling any kind of fencing…I always use it up and wish I had more🤷♀️. This batch of fence is kinda like a trellis, I see it in a “botanical park” kind of environment after the event…now if I could just get a few picnic tables and some wooden yard swings…maybe during a summer event?😎
I was so happy to sEA that his 1,4,&8 hr tasks were visual! I still get butthurt every time I send SLH on a task 😩😝

Dang it, Wendell’s 4hr task doesn’t earn crafting currency, so it depends on what you need more of.
Hey has a 4hr task at the Playscape to earn event currency. That should be his only job until you’ve cleared the prize track
Hello Alissa, great job you do on the site. What I meant to say was that Wendell has a 4hr task (get extremely sick) that pays out 90 duff beer and no crafting currency, but the play structure task pays out 78 duff beers plus 8 crafting currency. So if you find that you are getting enough crafting currency and want to make more event currency to finish the prize track faster, it might be better to send Wendell on his outside (get extremely sick) task to earn more duff beers. What are your thoughts? Have a great day.
You can probably up your bonus enough that putting him on the playscape is more worthwhile eventually. He’s earning in the mid 80’s on mine already.

Anyone have an issue with all their Duff Beers disappearing? I had collected the Bart statue and was working towards the second item, but when I opened the game last night all my bottles were gone. EA says to “wait 24 hours”.
I was playing on my iPhone, but did the update on my Android tablet to play on the bigger screen, and that’s when they disappeared. They’re gone on the iPhone too.
yep, one of my other devices I forgotten to update and it went into the snow layout still.. came back to the 1st device and i noticed my crafting levels was in a -200 region.. and the duff beers reset to 0.
one funny thing when i entered back into the snow layout device was homer automatically had a speech bubble mentioning a lemon tree thing
That’s exactly what happened. The snow level version started up on the Android tablet, so I stopped it and when to Play store to update the game. Then… boom. No beer on both devices. Were you able to fix it?

I take it that it is more beneficial to do both his and Eric’s quest line first since they earned event currency? Is that what people are doing?
The payout seems to be the same amount of Duffs per/hour whether he is on the playground or doing the quest. I’m not interested in doing any 1 hr tasks right now, so I’m saving his quest till after the event.
I grabbed Wendell immediately as he’s a character I’ve hoped would show up for quite a while. He does spend a lot of time vomiting, so if that bothers you, you might want to pass. I love him.
Unless you send him on the ‘face the monkey bars’ task. There’s no sickness involved with that task. I know feeling sick and getting ‘bus sick’ is part of who he is, but.. a nice task like ‘play ball with Bart and Milhouse’ or something would be nice too. But I’m happy just to have him, 😀 Wendell will have to spend his time on the monkey bars or walking around not on a task in my town. 🐱🌟🌸

Yeah! Bought him immediately but did not check if there are three different animations for Wendell or two of them are the same.
I don’t plan to buy Wendell, but his task list made me curious. He has THREE visual tasks? 😮 :p This is surprising because most new characters (since last 2-3 years, both premium & freemium) have only 2 visual tasks
Is Wendell’s above mentioned 4 hour task at the Mega Playscape (where all kids who are assaulting, have visuals)?? 😮

I wanna play this event but i am getting logged out of the app nearly every time i close it. It’s putting me off playing cos i keep having to login over and over and d/l 750mb of updates each time. Before the update it was over 1gb each time! Only started happening during the xmas event. Is there already a thread about this somewhere? Ta
Sounds like you may be running out of free space on your device…you need from 3gb to 4gb on some devices to run the game smoothly.
