Update: 10:45am ET March 2nd….”sticking” this to the top of the site as some of you are having server issues again. Use this post to discuss. All the same links still apply. However, I have not seen an update regarding the outage on EA’s Twitter as of yet. I’ll keep checking and keep you informed.

We're aware of connectivity issues with The Simpsons: Tapped Out for some users. We are working to resolve them as quickly as possible, and we'll let you know when we have more info.

As you saw from the title of this post….the Servers are in fact down. And they’ve been down for awhile.
According to EA’s Twitter from last night, they were doing some maintenance on the servers…

UPDATE: FYI EA is now saying the TSTO related issues right now are not related to maintenance. They completed the maintenance a few hours ago. It appears it’s directly a TSTO issue and they’re working on it. They help crew on twitter is directing players here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Simpsons-Tapped-Out/connection/td-p/6659157 (although I don’t know why there’s no new info there…but i’m guessing to at least put a me too in)
It appears that the hardest hit areas are the UK and Europe (with some outages in other places as well)…check out this map:

No idea how long they’re going to be out for, or if this will get more widespread. For now this is about all I know….but you can check out updated status for EA servers on this site.

Just something funny in my game (we aren’t down in Savannah,GA) to cheer up all the folks without service. Bart walked all the way out of the Outlands and down a long bridge to attack the Burn’s Water Mansion…pretty much “spot on” behavior for Bart😆.

Here’s a kicker.. my Android and my iPhone can’t log in. (alberta canada) but my wife can log in on her phone. So that tells me it is a selected set of servers that are having issues.
Good thing I got Burns (Last Prize) yesterday and not overly worried about falling behind.
My husband and I both play and are in South Dakota. I’m getting the “cannot connect to server” message, but he’s having no problem getting in. 🤔
Okay, husband can get in on iPad but not iPhone. I can’t get in on either. 😭
This morning (in Europe) i was kicked out of my origin. Of course it took some guesses to finally enter the right password, and then got the message that another device has taken over my account. Anyway that was fortunately not true and now been able to log in the whole day (every 4 hours). I’m in the orange zone though
I always get that message whenever I switch from my A-Springfield to my B-Springfield and visa versa.
Well I am in US and can’t get on. Haven’t been able to since last night when I last logged on.
Still down for me. Ontario, Canada. Been about 12 hours now. Not a huge deal for me, because I’m almost a week ahead on finishing the event. But the bonuts I’m missing out on and xp multiplier as well. 🙁 Plus ruffians are overwhelming my town! Lol

In the UK, and can play on one device but hit a problem trying a friend request so tried another and just got Bart.
Being stubborn I deleted the game data so it’s like a shiny new app store install with all the updates and the age dodad and so on to go through to get it to find a working server for all that data to download.
Well, it went nowhere fast for hours and suddenly zipped through so all I need to do is sign in
Yup, you guessed it, no EA network so no sign in !!
I’m keeping my fingers crossed the other device keeps connection

Server is out. I’m not sure what to do:
1. Stay inside and rant about not being able to harvest my donuts.
2. Go outside and rant about not being able to harvest my donuts.

1. Open the door. 2. Keep one foot inside 3. Put other foot outside. 4. Turn head from side to side as you rant. 5. Problem solved.

For some reason I still can play the game I am logged into at the moment, but I can’t log on to a different game, I get a message that Servers are not available right now. No Bart screen, though.
And I am in Munich, Germany. Right in the middle of the big red splotch.
That’s what I have been getting since 1:00 am in Western Canada MST.
It’s working fine for me in Australia (WA). Perhaps you can find a VPN or something. I had some issues 3-4 days ago, but it didn’t last long…
Been down for almost 8 hrs for me in the UK now.
I grow weary of checking to see if the servers are up.
I would appreciate a “wake up call”. Email me and let me know when y’all get back in.

Mine is back up in Maine.
Here is an oddity for you. I got the ‘cannot connect to server’ error this morning on my phone. Thinking it as maybe a wifi issue, i tried from work where i don’t connect to wifi. Still could not connect. Decided to try using Bluestacks to see if that connected. Low and behold, the game connected using Bluestacks. Tried the phone again and no dice. Still got the ‘cannot connect’ error. This makes no sense to me. Maybe it is service related somehow?
I had the same experience with Bluestacks working and phone not…. phone still not working, which is why I have time now to read TSTO….

I’m unable to log on either. I wouldn’t care, except I started the XP collider in one of my towns yesterday, and it is just ticking away with no XP being earned.
(Please don’t explain to me how I should have it running all the time and that I should be KEM farming and then it wouldn’t matter. This is a small town with a low bonus, and I don’t like farming. I like doing 1 day colliders and selling bloodmobiles. It is quick and fruitful.)
