An app store update is available on ANDROID at the moment (iOS we’re still waiting…Amazon you’ll have to let me know). Here’s a look at the description:
This will remove the Bart Royale update from your game & introduce a new Mini Event Homer vs. the 18th Amendment. (You won’t see the mini event unless you download the removal update)
It’ll kick off with a 6s task for Homer and 5 Springfielders. And it ends on March 21st..PERFECT for St. Patrick’s Day!

First up you’ll be able to buy the Ruffians as a package, just in case you want a memento of Bart Royale….
they’re 50 Donuts for the trio. They leave stores in a week, so on the 14th.
Now onto this update…
As I said at the top the update ends March 21st, so 2 weeks. This not only contains the Homer vs. the 18th Amendment content but also St. Patrick’s Day…the two do go hand in hand together.
As an FYI there’s also an episode tie-in associated with this update. BUT it’s not slated to hit until the 15th, so I’ll talk about that content then (since it’s not currently available)

I’m torn between taking a chance with 70 donuts to maybe win Barney or play a few more games of find Maggie and have enough (250) to buy him outright. What to do, what to do! Any stats in the chances of winning each prize in the mystery box?
Since there’s only 9 items (less if you already have a couple), I’d take 3 chances at the mystery box. Worst case scenereo you get 3 premium items at a discount, best case you get Barney and the bowlerama for a 180 donut discount
You’ve got 14 days to earn enough doughnuts. I can farm 9-12 every 4 hours, so that’s 45-60 per day… or 630-840 in 2 weeks. Even if you only manage 5 doughnuts every 4 hours, that’s 350 after 2 weeks
There were 7 items for me to win in the mystery box including Barney. I won him on my 3rd attempt. I got the Leprechaun and the Yupprechaun on the first 2 attempts
You can have 3 tries in the mystery box and it will still be cheaper then buying him outright, plus the prizes this time are pretty decent.
I’d take my chances with the mystery box. You’ll have three shots at Barney (nearly four really). The other prizes are all decent too well apart from the castle. Get farming to get a couple of more shots at the box just incase!
According to previous SIBs, the Wishing Well has a 4% bonus and Duff Party Liner has a 2.75% bonus.
for some reason I had to uninstall and then reinstall to get the update.
It’s not uncommon for people to have issues with a tsto update showing up in the App Store. I think there’s an app refresh thing in settings you might want to try out.
Not a big fan of biker stuff and used most of my donuts. So looking forward to the SIB posts..
That’s fair, the episode was an absolute classic though. John Goodman voices the main biker and it’s so funny and dumb. I love it!
The best part is when homer has a note pinned to the back of his head and Bart takes it off and puts then pin back in homers head before reading

You can try deleting the app and re-installing it, as the update was released on iOS about 3hrs, 45min ago.
If Rex Banner had the silky smooth voice of Dave Thomas I would buy him in a second, but since I’ll never tap on him and hear “He’s not the Baron, but he sounds drunk. Take him in” I have to pass.
Your ads are absolutely out of control! 5-10 ads on every page and crazy popups I can’t click out of!!!???? Simply scrolling through your site brings up malware popup ads and I have to close my browser down. Can you not find a better way to make ad revenue that isnt 1000% completely intrusive and abusive to your users? Your site is on the verge of being unusable. Thanks for your content, but this is getting flng crazy.

Maybe it’s time to use something other than WordPress. Users shouldn’t have to read through a disclaimer about abusive ads in order to use a site.
This is like a clothing store putting needles in sleeves and telling their customers to be more careful when they try on the shirt. How about you solve the problem instead of asking people to tip toe around mousetraps.

If it offends you so much, just use an ad-blocker and you won’t even notice the ads. Of course you should try to support the site in some way if you come here often enough
No…this is like someone who comes to a restaurant that gives free food, free advice…a place to hang out…and then complains that the free food isn’t gluten free!

Much of the Ads on my machine appear related to recent Google searches.
And I for one am weary of being reminded of my bleary-eyed, mindless, indiscreet 2:00am searches for Knotty Pine Trees.

You don’t have to read the disclaimer. It’s a post I wrote to avoid having to answer it in the comments over and over…although it hasn’t come up in the comments in months.
Here’s the deal. We’ve had this site for nearly FIVE years. With over 5,000 posts. And thousands of photos. Not exactly something I want to venture into changing at this stage in the game.
We get millions of hits on this site. I’ve used other sites for hosting, we’ve crashed them…MANY times. The only other option is to pay for a private server which would cost us several thousand dollars a month. Not something I’m really in the mood to pay for a site we run in our spare time. So basically…to put it nicely, sorry but we’re not moving off of WordPress. If you’re not happy with it you’re welcome to try a different site for TSTO.
Only in the pats few days, that old congratulations/amazon popup/redirect has been happening again
You can use an ad blocker and then occasionally disable it to support the site. Mine is really simple to reload without the blocker. But some sites just don’t work well with my phone otherwise, so I do need it in general.
I already have the duff factory and the duff party van, so it looks like no lady duff for me, unless it’s offered as a stand alone item. Why can’t EA offer things separately, surely it can’t be that difficult.
You’ll still get the van and lady duff. You can have more than 1.

Just got Barney In the mystery box.
The land shortage is starting to become a problem. This is the first time I haven’t bought any items with donuts because I have no more room.
I got the update on IOS and I noticed some things different with these buildings in the game: the Battle Dome is 1 square bigger when facing the ocean with it being 17×14 instead of 16×14 and when I sent Cadet Lisa on her Practice Rifle Training task she appears at the side of Rommelwood Academy instead of the front by the flagpole and this building is also facing the ocean if I turn it to face away from the mountains she appears at the front of the building by the flagpole like she normally done before.
Anyone else having issues with crashing after this update? Got in after update and got event started, but since then it crashes a few seconds after getting into my springfield.

This event is already leaps and bounds ahead of Bart Royale. I could do this one for a month, and the premium items are significantly better to in my opinion.
I think there is a bug, I have both duff brewery and duff party van, bud not Lady Duff skin for Duffman… and there is no way to buy it 🙁

Disappointed with take down of the update.was hoping we would now be able to buy the land we couldn’t before.being playing for a few years & manage to collect money quite quickly by sending people on regular tasks,but what’s the point if you’ve got nothing to spend it on?really use to love playing this game but as Patric said it is starting to become really boring.i just hope the next update is better.
Couldn’t agree more. I thought the whole tokens thing was a bug that came with the event, but if it’s a permanent change then I don’t see the point in playing. I’ll wait a while before calling it quits.

I agree. I was searching this thread looking for more information about this. Long time players should cause more of an uproar! I’ve been saving tokens since they were offered for the million dollar plus land (that I can’t afford as a free player). No way I want to waste the tokens on land I could actually buy! If it’s not changed by the next update, I may just call it quits.

Like the new content, Poppa Wheelie’s and Cirlce of Death went right into my new Outlands area next to my Hammock District. And all forts are now stored.

Will EA ever realize that we can’t put water on edges every time they update? I know your guess is as good as mine but it happens every time…I can’t be the only one.
Yup, all my water on the right edge has disapperared again…same glitch…obviously the patch hasn’t been made permanent.
Yasssss! Every time TSTOAddicts did a post on what event we’d like to see, The Movementarians and This was always my response. Last update all the characters were a wait for Mystery Box, but no need for a SIB for me this time. Buy All the Things!!! I guess since Springfield is legalizing weed I should also get the Stoners Pot Palace too. Bye bye donuts. Come to me, my biker darlings….

I can’t even log in with the new update. The game keeps crashing each time I try to enter the start screen. Am I the only one having this problem?

So glad for this update I was surprised it came so quickly but I’m elated that Bart Royale is done and I can store all my junk from the bases. Even though the three bases now generate 8 hour currency, I’m still thinking of storing them too. Looking forward to this. Thanks for the info!
